Wave propagation of graphene platelets reinforced metal foams circular plates

Based on first-order shear deformation theory, a wave propagation model of graphene platelets reinforced metal foams (GPLRMFs) circular plates is built in this paper. The expressions of phase-/group- velocities and wave number are obtained by using Laplace integral transformation and Hankel integral transformation. The effects of GPLs pattern, foams distribution, GPLs weight fraction and foam coefficient on the phase and group velocity of GPLRMFs circular plates are discussed in detail. It can be inferred that GPLs distribution have great impacts on the wave propagation problems, and Porosity- I type distribution has the largest phase velocity and group velocity, followed by Porosity-III, and finally Porosity-II; With the increase of the GPLs weight fraction, the phase- and group- velocities for the GPLRMFs circular plate will be increased; With the increase of the foam coefficient, the phase- and group- velocities for the GPLRMFs circular plate will be decreased.

As it is known, the researches on ownership transfer issues of RFID tag have focused on a single owner. However in practice, RFID tag may have multiple owners who occupy different weights. To solve the problem, the ownership transfer protocol of multi-owner with different weights based on Lagrange has been proposed. Assuming the key is divided into n parts in this paper, and the owner gets the corresponding sub secret key according to the weight. Then, If and only if the sum of the weights of the owners involved in the restoration of the secret key is equal to or greater than t, the secret key can be obtained, or not. Therefore, security of ownership transition and flexibility in the practical application are enhanced.

Anthocyanin-rich extracts have shown anti-inflammation activity in mouse colitis models. Cyanidin-3-glucoside (C3G) is one of the widespread anthocyanins in plants, and cyanidin (Cy) is the aglycone of C3G that can be generated in intestine under gut microorganism metabolism. To explore the anti-inflammatory activity of single anthocyanins compound and show the potential mechanism, the protective effects of C3G and its aglycone Cy on 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS)-induced colitis in mice and lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated Caco-2 cellular monolayer inflammation were studied. The results showed that both C3G and Cy significantly improved the clinical symptoms and relieved the histological damage in TNBS-challenged mice. The activity of myeloperoxidase and the excretion of inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-1β, interleukin-6, and interferon-γ were also significantly inhibited at the administration dosage of 200 μmol/kg. In vitro studies showed that when LPS-stimulated Caco-2 cells were pretreated with C3G and Cy, the destruction of the intestinal epithelial barrier was ameliorated due to the improvement of the transepithelial electrical resistance and Lucifer yellow flux values, while there were no significant difference between C3G and Cy groups at the same dosage. Similarly, both C3G and Cy suppressed nitric oxide production and inflammatory cytokines secretion of LPS-induced Caco-2 cells. C3G and its aglycone Cy had similar anti-inflammatory activity in both colitis mice and Caco-2 cells. The results suggest that C3G and Cy may exert anti-inflammatory effects by protecting the intestinal barrier as well as by suppressing inflammatory cytokine secretion. Thus, C3G or Cy could be potential preventive agents or supplementary medicines for inflammatory bowel disease.
Multi-owner RFID Tag Ownership Transfer Protocol based on the Chinese Remainder Theorem

For the security issue of the single tag ownership transfer, this paper proposes a multi-owner RFID Tag ownership transfer protocol based on the Chinese remainder theorem. By using secret sharing scheme, this protocol divides the sharing key into n parts, which then are distributed to n owners. Only when t owners cooperate together, the sharing key will be recovered. Thus, it ensures the tag’s security during the authentication and transformation of the ownership. Under the Linux environment, this protocol was achieved through simulationtest and the experiment data about the calculate time of the tag was got. Then with the number of owners increasing gradually, different results were compared. The result shows that in the protocol, when increasing the owners’ number, the calculate time of tag is in the acceptable range, which is also apply to the low cost tag.
Adaptive Synchronization of Chaotic Systems with known Response System Parameters

A kind of adaptive synchronous control method was proposed to solve a special synchronization problem between two chaotic systems, where the response system is totally known without uncertainty but the driven system contains both unknown parameters and uncertain nonlinear functions. An update law of estimation of unknown parameters of driven system by constructing a proper Lyapunov energy function and the stability of the whole system was guaranteed by Lyapunov stability theorem. What is worthy pointing out is that the chaotic systems are not required to satisfy the Lipscitz condition. At last, detailed numerical situation was done to show the rightness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
Characterization of SiC/C Nanocomposite Powders Synthesized by Arc-Discharge

In this paper, three carbon sources, i.e., solid graphite, gaseous CH4 and liquid ethanol, and one solid silicon source were employed to synthesize SiC/C nanocomposite powders by arc-discharge plasma. The processing conditions such as the component ratios of raw materials, atmospheric gases, etc. were adjusted for controllable synthesis of the nanopowders. It is indicated that both of solid graphite and silicon can be co-evaporated and reacted to form nanophases of cubic ${\beta}$-SiC with ~50 nm in mean size and a little free graphite; the carbon atoms decomposed from gaseous $CH_4$ favor to combine with the evaporated silicon atoms to form the dominant SiC nanophase; liquid carbon source of ethanol can also be used to harvest the main ${\beta}$-SiC and minor 6H-SiC phases in the assembly of nanoparticles. The as-prepared SiC/C nanocomposite powders were further purified by a heat-treatment in air and their photocatalytic performances were then greatly improved.
Robust Adaptive and Sliding Mode Synchronization of Uncertain Chaotic Systems

Parameter uncertainty of chaotic systems brings the complexity to the design of control law in many past research papers. In order to simplify the design of adaptive PID composite synchronous rule further and use the robust control method to deal with uncertainty conveniently, two kind of robust adaptive and nonlinear sliding mode synchronization algorithms are proposed for uncertain chaotic systems in this paper. The design strategy of the algorithm lies in using the boundedness of chaotic systems. The unknown information of driven system and response system is limited to be a given uncertainty range described by a bounded function. The robust adaptive controller is designed to complete synchronization. At last, it can be seen from the simulation that chaotic systems can achieve synchronization and eliminate the vibration phenomenon at the same time. The only disadvantage is that the precision of synchronization is limited by the control gain.
Pseudonym-based Privacy Protection Scheme for Participatory Sensing with Incentives

Participatory sensing applications rely on recruiting appropriate participants to share their surrounding conditions with others, and have been widely used in many areas like environmental monitoring, health care, and traffic congestion monitoring, etc. In such applications, how to ensure the privacy of a participant is important, since incentive mechanisms are used to maintain their enthusiasm for sustainable participation by offering certain amount of reward. In this paper, we propose a pseudonym-based privacy protection scheme, that takes both privacy protection and user incentives into consideration. The proposed scheme uses the pseudonym mechanism and one-way hash function to achieve user incentives, while protecting their identity. We also show extensive analysis of the proposed scheme to demonstrate that it can meet the security and performance the requirement of a participatory sensing application.
