Acupotomy for Osteoarthritis of the Knee; A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of acupotomy for the treatment of patients with knee osteoarthritis. There were 9 databases searched to retrieve randomized controlled trials until August 3, 2019 regarding acupotomy versus conventional Western medicine, conventional Western medicine treatment with and without acupotomy, and Korean medicine treatment with and without acupotomy, and meta-analysis was performed. Of 303 potentially relevant studies retrieved, 43 were systematically reviewed. All studies were conducted in China. Effective rate, visual analogue scale, and Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis index were used as the evaluation scales. The Ashi point was selected most frequently. In all studies, the intervention group was more effective than the control group. Meta-analysis revealed that acupotomy showed statistically significant beneficial results. Although acupotomy had a beneficial effect on knee osteoarthritis, the risk of bias of the included studies was not low. The majority of the results from the evaluation scales used were highly heterogeneous (> 50%) which reduced confidence in the estimation of effect, or had a small sample size. Further clinical research and development is required in the future.
Stability Analysis and Proposal of a Simple Form of a Fuzzy PID Controller

This paper suggests the simple form of a fuzzy PID controller and describes the design principle, tracking performance, stability analysis and changes of parameters of a suggested fuzzy PID controller. A fuzzy PID controller is derived from the design procedure of fuzzy control. It is well known that a fuzzy PID controller has a simple structure of the conventional PID controller but posses its self-tuning control capability and the gains of a fuzzy PID controller become nonlinear functions of the inputs. Nonlinear calculation during fuzzification, defuzzification and the fuzzy inference require more time in computation. To increase the applicability of a fuzzy PID controller to digital computer, a simple form of a fuzzy PID controller is introduced by the backward difference mapping and the analysis of the fuzzy input space. To guarantee the BIBO stability of a suggested fuzzy PID controller, ‘small gain theorem’ which proves the BIBO stability of a fuzzy PI and a fuzzy PD controller is used. After a detailed stability analysis using ‘small gain theorem’, from which a simple and practical method to decide the parameters of a fuzzy PID controller is derived. Through the computer simulations for the linear and nonlinear plants, the performance of a suggested fuzzy PID controller will be assured and the variation of the gains of a fuzzy PID controller will be investigated.
식품부산물 적용 화학혼화제를 사용한 굳지 않은 콘크리트 특성

국내 식품가공 공정에서 연간 500만톤 이상의 부산물이 발생되고 있어 고부가가치의 순환자원으로 활용처가 필요한 실정이다. 한편, 콘크리트 혼화재인 플라이애시, 고로슬래그미분말 등의 광물질 혼합재료 사용이 증가되고 있어 이에 따른 블리딩 및 레이턴스 증가가 콘크리트의 품질저하로 문제가 되고 있으며 특히 동절기에 그 영향이 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 블리딩 및 테이턴스 저감 목적으로 화학혼화제에 적용되고 있는 당밀의 대체재로서 식품부산물의 활용성을 검증연구의 추가 연구로서 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 특성을 평가하였다.

Dynamic positioning(DP) system maintains its position (fixed location or predetermined track) exclusively by means of CPPs and thrusters. In order for a ship to cope with current situation appropriately. an integrated controller generating control signals for each CPP and thruster is required. The integrated controller including thrust calculation algorithm and thrust allocation algorithm is suggested and realized based on TCP/IP network.

DMX-512 protocol is a lighting protocol which can control the various lighting fixtures by linking as networks. Recently many lighting fixtures corresponding to DMX-512 have been manufactured. The software which makes LED Control of lighting fixtures easy and simple, is proposed in this paper. The complicated interface and production method were improved and each mode was divided for simple production and reducing confusion of operator. The producing effects were confirmed by simulation results.
