<P>Two-dimensional layered MoS2 has recently been considered as an excellent catalyst for the water-splitting hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Herein, we synthesize 1T′ phase MoS2 that was intercalated with a series of alkylated <I>p</I>-phenylenediamines (PDs). The substituted N atoms produced S vacancies, leading to a composition of MoS2−2xNx (<I>x</I> = 0.1). The more abundant methyl groups induce a larger charge transfer, resulting in excellent HER performance: for tetramethyl PD, the overpotential is 0.15 V at 10 mA cm<SUP>−2</SUP> with a Tafel slope of 35 mV dec<SUP>−1</SUP>. The catalytic activity of the complexes depends on the concentration of the intercalated molecules, showing an optimum at a concentration of 8 mol%. First-principles calculations showed that the intercalated complexes (1T′ phase) having N atom-S vacancy (N-VS) pairs are stabilized by a large charge transfer from the PD molecules that is enhanced by the methyl groups (<I>i.e</I>., 0.40e-0.84e per molecule at 6.25 mol% intercalation). The charge transfer increases the density of states at and just above the Fermi level, thereby increasing the electron concentration at low cathodic bias. The active sites for the Volmer reaction are found to be N atoms in the proximal N-VS pairs. The activation barrier for the Heyrovsky reaction becomes higher at higher concentrations of the intercalants, suggesting that the experimental HER performance is also kinetically controlled.</P>

컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통한 자연스러운 헤어스타일 생성은 컴퓨터 그래픽스와 애니메이션 분야의 오랜 연구 주제가 되고 있다. 본 논문은 픽 앤 드롭에 기반한 2D 가상 컬러 헤어스타일러에 관한 것이다. 제안된 2D 가상 컬러 헤어스타일러는 사용할 수 있는 헤어스타일의 수가 제한되는 문제를 해결하기 위한 것이다. 사전에 준비된 그래픽 헤어스타일 외에 원하는 헤어스타일을 보유한 2D 실사 영상으로부터 헤어스타일을 분리ㆍ추출한 후, 영상 간 픽 앤 드롭(pick-and-drop) 방식으로 옮겨와 두상에 부착한 다음, 필요 시엔 헤어스타일의 컬러도 자유롭게 변경할 수 있는 기능을 제공함으로써 저비용으로 활용 가능한 헤어스타일의 수를 증대시킬 수 있다. 이때 헤어스타일의 분리ㆍ추출은 컬러 바운딩 박스(color bounding box)에 기반한 컬러 영상 분할 기법을 이용하고, 헤어스타일의 컬러 변경은 명도 차분 맵(intensity difference map)에 기반한 모발 컬러 매핑 기술을 사용한다. 제안된 방법은 직관적이고 편리한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하기 때문에 작업자의 피로도를 경감시킴과 동시에 작업시간을 단축할 수 있고 비숙련자도 간단한 사용자 입력을 통해 자연스러운 가상 헤어스타일을 생성할 수 있는 장점이다.
Thickness-dependent bandgap and electrical properties of GeP nanosheets

<P>Recently there have been extensive efforts to develop novel two-dimensional (2D) layered structures, owing to their fascinating thickness-dependent optical/electrical properties. Herein, we synthesized thin GeP nanosheets that had a band gap (<I>E</I>g) of 2.3 eV, which is a dramatic increase from the value in the bulk (0.9 eV) upon exfoliation. This <I>E</I>g value is close to that of the GeP monolayer predicted by first-principles calculations (HSE06 functional). The calculations also indicate a strong dependence of <I>E</I>g on the number of layers (2.306, 1.660, 1.470, and 1.397 eV for mono-, bi-, tri-, and tetralayers, respectively), and that the band edge positions are suitable for water splitting reactions. Field-effect transistor devices were fabricated using the p-type GeP nanosheets of various thicknesses, and the devices demonstrated a significant decrease in the hole mobility but an increased on-off ratio as the layer number decreased. The larger on-off ratio (10<SUP>4</SUP>) for the thinner ones is promising for use in novel 2D (photo)electronic nanodevices. Further, liquid-exfoliated GeP nanosheets (thickness = 1-2 nm) deposited on Si nanowire arrays can function as a promising photoanode for solar-driven water-splitting photoelectrochemical (PEC) cells. Based on the calculated band offset with respect to the Fermi levels for the two half-reactions in the water splitting reaction, the performance of the PEC cell can be explained by the formation of an effective p-GeP/n-Si heterojunction.</P>

한때 놀이문화에 불과했던 게임은 게이미피케이션 등을 활용해 생활 속에 접목됨으로써 생활의 일부가 되었다. 게임의 생활화로 게임 리터러시 교육이 중요하나, 체계적인 연구는 아직 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목표는 게임 리터러시 교육의 효과성을 정량적으로 측정할 검사도구 개발을 위한 정교한 게임 리터러시 프레임워크를 개발하는 것이다. 이러한 목표를 달성하기 위하여 게임 리터러시 핵심역량과 미래인재 핵심역량 관련 선행연구를 분석하여 3개 영역, 8개 역량, 29개 특성요인으로 구성된 게임 리터러시 프레임워크 초안을 정의하였다. 이를 바탕으로 교육 분야 전문가를 대상으로 FGI를 실시하고 의견을 반영하여 게임 리터러시 프레임워크 정의를 정교화 하였다. 이후 게임 및 교육 분야 전문가를 대상으로 2차에 걸친 델파이 조사를 통해 3개 영역, 9개 역량, 27개 특성요인으로 구성된 최종적인 게임 리터러시 프레임워크를 정의하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 게임 리터러시 프레임워크를 기반으로 게임 리터러시 검사 도구 개발 가능성을 검토하고 몇 가지 본 연구의 시사점을 제시하였다. Games, which were once just play culture, have become a part of life by being grafted into life using gamification. Game literacy education is important as the daily life of games, but systematic research is still insufficient. The goal of this study is to develop an elaborate game literacy framework for the development of test tools that will quantitatively measure the effectiveness of game literacy education. To achieve this goal, a draft game literacy framework consisting of 3 areas, 8 competencies, and 29 characteristic factors was defined by analyzing previous studies related to game literacy core competencies and future talent core competencies. Based on this, FGI was conducted for experts in the field of education, and the definition of the game literacy framework was refined by reflecting opinions. After that, through the Delphi survey conducted over the second period for experts in the field of game and education, the final game literacy framework consisting of 3 areas, 9 competencies, and 27 characteristic factors was defined. Based on the game literacy framework developed in this study, the possibility of developing a game literacy test tool was reviewed and some implications of this study were presented.

<P>For the electrochemical reduction of CO2 (CRR) with high selectivity for HCOOH, In-Zn bimetallic nanocrystals (NCs) were synthesized as catalysts by <I>in situ</I> reduction of In2O3-ZnO NCs with various compositions. All In-containing bimetallic catalysts exhibited excellent selectivity to produce HCOOH, while Zn NCs favor CO production. A composition with In : Zn = 0.05 has higher catalytic activity than In NCs, with a faradaic efficiency of 95% and a HCOOH production rate of 0.40 mmol h<SUP>−1</SUP> cm<SUP>−2</SUP> at −1.2 V <I>vs.</I> RHE. The enhanced catalytic performance is in part ascribed to the fewer surface oxide layers, which increase the conductivity and facilitate the charge transfer. Density functional theory calculations revealed that the In-Zn interfacial sites make the HCOOH pathway significantly energy-favorable, which supports the higher production rate of Zn0.95In0.05 than that of In.</P>

<P>Alloyed semiconductor nanowires (NWs) are of great interest for next-generation integrated optoelectronic nanodevices owing to their tunable band gap and emission wavelength. In this study, we synthesized the GaAsSe ternary alloy nanowires (NWs) with various compositions between GaAs and Ga<SUB>2</SUB>Se<SUB>3</SUB> using chemical vapor transport method. The band gap was continuously tuned in the range of 1.5-2.1 eV because of the completely miscible solid solution at all compositions. The alloy NWs (including Ga<SUB>2</SUB>Se<SUB>3</SUB>) consisted of a cubic phase with the [011] growth direction, in contrast with the GaAs NWs grown along the [111] direction. In particular, the GaAs<SUB>1-<I>x</I></SUB>Se<SUB><I>x</I></SUB> (<I>x</I> = 0.3) alloy NWs were grown from Ga-rich Au nanoparticles such as cubic-phase AuGa<SUB>2</SUB> and had a defect-free single-crystalline nature. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis reveals much less surface oxide layers for <I>x</I> = 0.3, suggesting that Se incorporation at this composition effectively diminishes the surface defects. We fabricated photodetectors using the individual NW, showing that the photocurrent decreases with the increasing Se composition. The alloy composition significantly diminished the dark current and thus greatly enhanced the photosensitivity for <I>x</I> = 0.3.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

A new small red bean cultivar, ‘Arari’, was artificially crossed between ‘SA9411-2B-1-1-2’ and ‘Suweon38’ in 1997, fixed excellent agronomic characters by pedigree breeding method, and selected for the further trials with the name of Milyang 8 . It was prominent and showed good result, such as high grain quality, Lodging resistance, and high yielding, from the regional adaptation yield trials (RYT) for three years from 2009 to 2011 and released for the public consumption as the name of ‘Arari’in 2011. ‘Arari’ has a semi-determinate growth habit, yellow flower, green embryonic axis, dark red seed coat, white hilum, and small spherical seed (13.1 grams per 100 seeds). The average yield of ‘Arari’ was 2.05 MT/ha in the regional yield trials (RYT) carried out for three years from 2009 to 2011 which was a little higher than that (1.99 MT/ha) of check variety, ‘Chungju’.

It was prominent and showed good result, such as high grain quality, lodging resistance, and high-antioxidant activity in the regional adaptation yield trials (RYT) for three years from 2009 to 2011 and released for the public consumption as the name of ‘SA9801-24-4-3-1’ in 2011. ‘Geomguseul’ has a semi-determinate growth habit, yellow flower, green embryonic axis, black seed coat, white hilum, and small spherical seed (12.2 grams per 100 seeds). The average yield of ‘Geomguseul’ was 2.01 MT/ha in the regional yield trials (RYT) carried out for three years from 2009 to 2011 which was a little higher than that (1.98 MT/ha) of the check variety, ‘Chungju’.
