Robust Digital Control of a Broadband PWM Power Amplifier
Nobutaka Suzuki,Kohji Higuchi,Tatsuyoshi Kajikawa 제어로봇시스템학회 2012 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2012 No.10
Lately, it is required that a PWM power amplifier has a wide bandwidth and good robustness. For example, it is in application of a testing power supply of a low ferquency immunity examination, or a class-D ampllifier. In this paper, we show that the bandwidth of PWM power amplifier can be extended and the good robustnes can be attained by using an approximate 2-degree-of-freedom(2DOF) digital controller. This controller is implemented on a DSP. It is demonstrated from experiments that the broadband and robust PWM power amplifier can be realized with this controller.

In this paper a parameter determing method of digital controller is proposed for spreading capacitance load range more and improving transient charateristics for inductance load. In the previous proposed controller, the conguration of the controller is the same to all loads. At inductive load, there is a possibility that the transient characteristics may become bad and the specication may not be satised. Therefore, a load currentis estimated at inductive load, and the controller which also uses load cur-rent for feedback is congured. ADSP is implemented to this digital controller. It is demonstrated from experiments that the digital controller of which parameters are deter-mined by the proposed method satises the given speci-cations.

Casein hydrolysate, prepared with Aspergillus oryzaeprotease, contains angiotensin I-converting enzyme in-hibitory peptides, such as Val-Pro-Pro and Ile-Pro-Pro. We conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studyto evaluate the effect of casein hydrolysate on the blood pressure of 144 subjects with high-normal blood pressure (n . 104)and mild hypertension (n . 40). Subjects were randomly assigned to two groups for a 12-week intake period. In the test group, both systolic (SBP) and diastolic (DBP) blood pressure decreased significantly compared with the placebo group: SBP/DBPsignificantly decreased from 138.2. 6.5/84.4. 5.3 mm Hg at week 0 to 132.3. 7.3 (P. .001)/81.2. 4.8 mm Hg (P..001) at week 12. In the stratified analysis, the test product showed an antihypertensive effect in both the subject group withhigh-normal blood pressure and that with mild hypertension. No side effect was observed in any subjects in this study. Theseresults demonstrate that the casein hydrolysate, prepared with A. oryzaeprotease, produced a significant reduction in bloodpressure in a population of subjects with high-normal blood pressure or mild hypertension without an adverse event.

This paper represents an emulation of fuzzy logic control schemes in autonomous parallel parking system in a back ward maneuver. There are four infrared sensors sending distanced at a to microcontroller for generating an obstacle-freeparking path. Two of them mounted on the front and rare wheels on the parking side are used as the inputs to the fuzzy rule stocalculate apropersteering angle while bacing. The other two attached to the front and rearends serve for avoiding collision with other car salong the parking space. At the end of parking process, the vehicle will be inline with other parked cars and position in the middle of the free space. A construction of fuzzy rules is designed based upon a wall following process. The effectiveness of the controller designis demonstrated in the experimental results.

The mixed translinear loop, serving as the input stage of a CMOS CCCII, is analyzed in large signal method to examine the linearity condition, which is simply the matching between NMOS and PMOS loop components. Example configurations, providing linear and nonlinear V-I characteristic of input voltage and current, are simulated in the HSPICE based on the AMS’ 0.35μ CMOS process. The results verify the necessity of matching condition in designing a linear CMOS CCCII. To obtain an optimized design, the geometric programming is utilized based on attained perceptions. A sample requirement, also based on the AMS’ 0.35μ CMOS process, is globally optimized. The obtained solution is simulated in the HSPICE to verify the performances, which are satisfying the requirement quite well.

This paper proposes the analysis and design of a DC-side symmetrical zero-current-switching (ZCS) Class-D current-source driven resonant rectifier to improve the low power-factor and high line current harmonic distortion of lighting applications. An analysis of the junction capacitance effect of Class-D ZCS rectifier diodes, which has a significant impact on line current harmonic distortion, is discussed in this paper. The design procedure is based on the principle of the symmetrical Class-D ZCS rectifier, which ensures more accurate results and provides a more systematic and feasible analysis methodology. Improvement in the power quality is achieved by using the output characteristics of the DC-side Class-D ZCS rectifier, which is inserted between the front-end bridge-rectifier and the bulk-filter capacitor. By using this symmetrical topology, the conduction angle of the bridge-rectifier diode current is increased and the low line harmonic distortion and power-factor near unity were naturally achieved. The peak and ripple values of the line current are also reduced, which allows for a reduced filter-inductor volume of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter. In addition, low-cost standard-recovery diodes can be employed as a bridge-rectifier. The validity of the theoretical analysis is confirmed by simulation and experimental results.
