Wind monitoring system is an absolutely-required system for assessing a performance and fatigue load of the wind energy generator in an on-shore wind energy experimental research complex. It was implemented for the purpose of monitoring the wind information measured from a meteorological tower at the monitoring house and of utilizing the measured data for the performance assessment, by using the LabVIEW program. Then, by adding the performance assessment-related data acquired from the wind energy generator during the performance assessment and the data recorder for synchronizing the data of meteorological tower, the system was implemented. Because it transmitted the data by converting the output 'RS-232' of data logger which measures the wind condition into CAN protocol, the data error rate was minimized, This paper is intended to explain the developed wind data monitoring system.

Objectives : The aim of this study was to prepare the validity and relevance for National Health Insurance of Chuna manual therapy through measurement of resource-based relative value scale(RBRVS) scores. Methods : To prepare for National Health Insurance, we studied it about standardized classification of the practice and definition, and speciality by difficulty and safety of Chuna manual therapy. Results : Classification of the practice could be classified to 7 of Chuna manual therapy and 24 traditional manual therapy, it also categorized as one of 3 kinds(basic, simple, special). The RBRVS scores of Chuna manual therapy were measured to 283.28, 566.57 and 1133.14. Conclusions : This study could be used to basis data for National Health Insurance of Chuna manual therapy, but further studies must be needed more objective investigation and data to calculate RBRVS scores.

Objectives : The aim of the present study was to report the safety of cervical Chuna manipulation treatment (CCMT). We investigated the mechanism and complications of adverse reactions associated with CCMT, and newly demonstrated three cases in litigation. Methods : We searched relevant case reports, surveys, and review articles using a comprehensive databases of online and bibliography, combed adverse cases in clinical field. Results : A relative-to-absolute contraindication to cervical Chuna manipulation was circulatory and haematological disorders, neurological disorders, bone-weakening and destructive disorders, articular derangement or psychological factors. The majority of adverse reactions were mild or moderate in 85~90%, began within 4 h and generally disappeared within the next 24 h, at least one of them was reported by 30.0~60.9% of the patients after cervical manipulation. The most common were local discomfort (15.2~53.0%), headache (10.0~19.8%), stiffness (19.5~25.0%), tiredness (10.0~12.1%), or radiating discomfort (10.0~23.0%). The two of reported clinical cases were the occurrence of retropharngeal hematoma and cervical herniated disc disease after CCMT. The one was not a fault of practitioner, but complain for compensation. Conclusions : Manipulation of the cervical spine may also be associated with higher complication rates than previously reported. Although It is difficult to estimate the incidence of cervical manipulation complications, it is important to differentiate those patients who are susceptible to adverse reactions in order to inform them correctly.

Background: Low back pain (LBP) is a major burden in Korea. Despite its high prevalence, the government and the public health sector do not address the specific evidences of symptom control and prevention of LBP to reduce long-term healthcare costs and increase the quality of life. Thus, the Korean medicine sector encourages to collection and analysis of the medical utilization pattern of patients with LBP in Korea to provide evidences of LBP control strategy as well as political decisions. Methods: KLOS, a prospective, multi-center, patient registry pilot study will collaborate with 7 traditional Korean medicine hospitals and recruit patients with LBP into the registry. A total of 150 eligible patients with new episodes of LBP, who visit a Korean hospital without any other treatment history, will be enrolled in the registry. After enrollment, we will collect the individual characteristics of each patient, such as pain intensity, LBP-related daily disability, anthropometrics, and Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) at baseline and FU1 and FU2. We will also access the patients’ clinical and administrative electronic records to analyze the pattern of patients’ resource utilization. Overall, the aims of KLOS are to (1) explore the general characteristics of patients with new episodes of LBP and (2) evaluate the efficacy and safety of various Korean medicine treatments for LBP, based on nationwide registry outcome collecting process. Discussion: The first pilot study of prospective, multi-center registry of newly diagnosed LBP patients in traditional Korean medicine hospitals. The result of this study may show the current status of LBP patients who receive Korean medicine treatments and provide evidences for reasonable decision-making on Korean medicine healthcare policy in the future. Objectives :The purpose of this study is to analyze internal research trends of work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) and provide problems of researches forward.Methods :6 Korean databases were searched for articles of WMSDs published from 2000 to 2012, and 264 research were systematic reviewed. An analytical method was used descriptive statistics, an actual number and percentage.Results :The results of distribution by year were reported more than 20 articles after 2004, and 45 articles in 2009. Industrial classification distribution of research subjects the manufacturing industry was many most at the 84. Research contents in most description were 147 whether it was risk factor and relation. Research design type of articles was most description survey research 226. In the research field 89 articles were reported to the journal related to technologies.Conclusions : It is considered to be necessary that ergonomic approach would cooperate with other approaches such as integrated health management system as well as industrial medicine considering psychosocial factors.

Antarctic King Sejong Station was established in King George Island, the South Pole in 1988, and has been executing the monitoring studies on the change of antarctic natural environment. As an available power, the wind energy generator has been used in the form of hybrid with mainly diesel generator. Because the wind generation power sharply changes by wind energy, it must be careful during the system operation. When the power system becomes stable, the output performance of wind energy generator becomes stable. But, in case of unstable system, the errors frequently occur on the wind energy generator and it badly impacts the power system by output of wind energy generator. The purpose of this paper is to analyze suitability while operating the system of 10kW wind energy generator at Antarctic King Sejong Station, an isolated area, and to analyze the problem and improvements by power quality.
