The studies about the traditional Korean habitation have been restricted to the area of Korean peninsula which led to the study of habitation trend in the identical culture. However, it is a time to focus the study to out side of the Korean peninsula. The north-eastern rural area of China was selected for this study where is the biggest Korean residing area other than Korean peninsula to study the adaptation and settlement of traditional Korean habitation in the different culture. The characteristics of the structure of habitation space are summarized as follows : 1.The arrangement of space is basically different to the traditional Chinese habitation. 2.The yard around a house is maximized for cultivation. To use more area for cultivation, each block contains 3 or 4 houses, the distance to the entrance of a main house is minimized, side constructions are closely located to the main house. The ordinary function of a yard is extremely limited. 3.The major inner space of each house was not changed. Improvement or enlargement of house often followed by the change of family members was rare. The reason is believed that the children move out after they get married. 4.The function of the major rooms consisting inner space of a house has been changed toward the same usage. However, traces of Gyopjip-Structure of traditional Hamkyongdo-style are easily found by the door sill between Jeongji-bang and Ut-bang, the pillars for Sangin-bang, Ut-bang and Go-bang.

Karl Friedrich Schinkel was an architect lived in the period of late 18 century and early 19 century.This period was a beginning of the transition stage from ancient and middle architectures to modem style and also was a tumultuous era for society.Therefore, it is necessary to study the architectures in this period for better understanding of the modem architecture, however the architects and architectures in this period have not been studied well. The objects of this study are, based upon the historical background of the period, to understand the basic principles and mechanism of Schinkel's architecture who was one of the major architect, to find the significance of Schinkel in the history of architecture.The structure of this study is divided into three parts: firstly the consideration about historical and architectural situation in the period, secondly the trends and characteristics of Schinkel's architecture in the sub divided time frames, several subjects were selected in detail.

Liturgical space is the most important in the spaces of catholic church architecture. But Since 1980's, korea catholic church has concentrated on functionality, decoration and sensuous expression. Thus this study analyzed the catholic liturgical space for reinforcing the present status of catholic church through Pyeongtaek district's parish in Diocese of Suwon. Although there are many compositional elements in catholic liturgical space, this study focused on the figures of church plane, the arrangement of nave's chair, the condition of sanctuary and the place of sacristy etc. Though there are many changes in composition elements of liturgical space by the 2nd Council of the Vatican, composition elements of site(shape, price, access road, area etc.) have an effect on liturgical space, too. But up to now, despite the necessity of the principles of liturgical space which are yet to be lacked.

창세트 열관류율 시뮬레이션을 위한 개방형 BIM의 형상정보 추출에 관한 연구

The efforts to revitalize the U-value simulation of a window set are recently increasing. However, despite this prospect, the current input of information required for the simulation is performed manually. Therefore, this study proposed a method to extract the geometry information from the window set BIM automatically. In order to achieve the goal of the study, first, the geometry information required by the U-value simulation of a window set is defined. Second, a method is proposed to extract the geometry information from the window set BIM. Third, a method is proposed to convert the geometry information which is extracted from the IFC file into the THMX file. Finally, a pilot test is performed to verify productivity and reliability of the proposed method. Since the geometry information required for the U-value simulation through the proposed method can be entered automatically, the productivity of the simulation can be increased. Besides, since errors of a geometry are not occurred in the process of the frame modeling of a window set, it is expected to improve reliability of the results of the simulation.
