BOUNDED COMPOSITION OPERATORS FROM THE BERGMAN SPACE TO THE HARDY SPACE
Kasuga, Kazuhiro,Nakazi, Takahiko Korean Mathematical Society 2014 대한수학회보 Vol.51 No.4
Let ${\phi}$ be an analytic self map of the open unit disc D. In this paper, we study the composition operator $C_{\phi}$ from the Bergman space on D to the Hardy space on D.
NORM OF THE COMPOSITION OPERATOR FROM BLOCH SPACE TO BERGMAN SPACE
Kasuga, Kazuhiro Korean Mathematical Society 2014 대한수학회논문집 Vol.29 No.3
In this paper, we study some quantity equivalent to the norm of Bloch to $A^p_{\alpha}$ composition operator where Ap $A^p_{\alpha}$ is the weighted Bergman space on the unit ball of $\mathbb{C}^n$ (0 < p < ${\infty}$ and -1 < ${\alpha}$ < ${\infty}$).
AKARI/AcuA PHYSICAL STUDIES OF THE CYBELE ASTEROID FAMILY
Kasuga, Toshihiro,Usui, Fumihiko,Hasegawa, Sunao,Kuroda, Daisuke,Ootsubo, Takafumi,Mü,ller, Thomas G.,Ishiguro, Masateru American Institute of Physics 2012 The Astronomical journal Vol.143 No.6
<P>We present a study of 107 Cybele asteroids based on the archival database 'Asteroid Catalog Using AKARI (AcuA)' taken by the Infrared Astronomical Satellite. The database provides diameters D > 10 km, geometric albedos, and taxonomic information (75%) of the Cybeles. We find taxonomic diversity (mainly C-, D-, and P-type) in the population of 78 small Cybeles with diameters 10 km <D < 80 km. Their cumulative power-law size distribution index shows a shallow value of 0.86 ± 0.03. By contrast, 29 large Cybeles with D > 80 km are mostly classified as C- or P-types (90%), with a power-law index of 2.39 ± 0.18. The total mass of Cybele asteroids is estimated to be ~10–5 MEarth. We also discuss the origin and formation process of the Cybele asteroid family.</P>
Innate immune sensing of coronavirus and viral evasion strategies
Kasuga Yusuke,Zhu Baohui,Jang Kyoung-Jin,Yoo Ji-Seung 생화학분자생물학회 2021 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.53 No.-
The innate immune system is the first line of the host defense program against pathogens and harmful substances. Antiviral innate immune responses can be triggered by multiple cellular receptors sensing viral components. The activated innate immune system produces interferons (IFNs) and cytokines that perform antiviral functions to eliminate invading viruses. Coronaviruses are single-stranded, positive-sense RNA viruses that have a broad range of animal hosts. Coronaviruses have evolved multiple means to evade host antiviral immune responses. Successful immune evasion by coronaviruses may enable the viruses to adapt to multiple species of host organisms. Coronavirus transmission from zoonotic hosts to humans has caused serious illnesses, such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), and coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), resulting in global health and economic crises. In this review, we summarize the current knowledge of the mechanisms underlying host sensing of and innate immune responses against coronavirus invasion, as well as host immune evasion strategies of coronaviruses.

This article reports on the non-destructive evaluation (NDE) of metallurgical changes induced by the deformation processes. In particular, the martensite and reversed austenite states of a meta-stable austen-itic stainless steel sheet were evaluated. The sheet was elongated up to 40 % at room temperature, and was then brought below room temperature to produce martensite. This was then followed by annealing for reversion. First, martensite content was measured with a Feritscope. Second, the surface acoustic wave (SAW) velocity was measured with a high numerical aperture spherically focused ultrasonic beam with a frequency equal to 600 MHz. The measured SAW velocity values were found to be dependent on the elongation, the ambient temperature during elongation, and the annealing temperature. A useful trend was found in the correlation between the measured SAW velocity and the martensite content as measured with the Feritscope. Second, using a high frequency (i.e., 800 MHz) acoustic imaging technique, the deformed and annealed grain structures were mapped. In comparing the acoustic images with the optical images, the deformed grains shown in the acoustic images were found to be significantly clearer than those shown in the optical images. These studies reveal the importance of NDE, in connection with the forming of stain-less steel structures, to map the deformation induced metallurgical changes. Here, unique NDE techniques are seen to be effective in mapping the changes with the use of hypersonic SAW velocity measurements and imaging.
