<P>We demonstrate Rabi oscillation of a resonant two-photon transition in a three-level ladder-type quantum system of gaseous rubidium atoms induced by a single femtosecond laser pulse. For this, we shape the flat-top spatial profile of the laser pulse and perform the ultrafast population cycling of the atoms as a function of pulse energy. The experimental result confirms that the Rabi frequency of the transition from a ground state to a final state depends linearly on the pulse area, although the transition is a two-photon process.</P>
자본자산가격결정모형에 기반한 상장 물류기업의 자기자본비용 추정과 성과에 관한 연구

본 연구는 국내 상장 물류기업의 투자에 관한 전략적 의사결정 및 성과측정 수단으로서 자기자본비용에 관한 연구가 그 중요성에도 불구하고 저조한 현실에서 주요 물류기업들의 자기자본 비용을 추정하고 성과를 분석하여 물류기업과 이들 기업에 투자하는 지분투자자들에게 관련 정보와 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 자본자산가격결정이론을 토대로 CAPM, 파마-프렌치 3요인 모형, 그리고 차익거래가격결정모형을 제시하고 2015년 3월부터 2018년 3월까지 각 개별 기업들의 경제적 요인(주가 수익률, 코스피 수익률, 국공채 3년물, 규모 프리미엄 요인, 가치 프리미엄 요인, 모멘텀 요인, 회사채 수익률 요인, 그리고 운송지수 요인)을 각 모형에 따라 적용하여 분석결과를 도출하였다. 먼저, CAPM을 제외한 나머지 모형으로는 물류기업의 초과수익률을 설명하는데 한계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 물류기업별 초과수익률의 분포에 따라 경제적 요인들이 다르게 작용할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로, CAPM을 통한 자기자본 추정치는 분석기간 동안 음(-)의 수익률을 지녔음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 분석결과는 투자자들에게 관련 정보와 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. Despite its importance, research on equity cost as a means of strategic decision making and performance measurement on the investment of domestic listed logistics companies is poor. The purpose of this study is to present the information and implications for logistics service providers and equity investors who invest in these companies by estimating the cost of equity capital of major logistics companies and analyzing their performance. To this, we propose a CAPM, a three-factor model of Fama-French, and an arbitrage pricing model based on capital asset pricing theory. And from March 2015 to March 2018, each individual company's stock returns, KOSPI returns, 3-year government bonds, size premium factor, value premium factor, momentum factor, corporate bond yield factor and transportation index apply to each model to derive the analysis results. 1) The remaining models except CAPM showed that there is a limit to explain the excess return of trucking business company. 2) It can be seen that the economic factors may function differently depending on the distribution of excess return by trucking business company. 3) The CAPM estimates of cost of equity capital have negative (-) returns during the analysis period. We expect that the results of this analysis will provide investors with relevant information and implications.
미세먼지 예방행동의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 스마트폰 사용과 확장된 기술수용모델(TAM II)의 적용

본 연구는 공중의 건강을 위협하고 있는 미세먼지에 대하여 헬스커뮤니케이션 관점에서 스마트폰을 활용하여 개인의 건강 관련 요소들이 미세먼지 예방행동의도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 가설을 규명하기 위해 확장된 기술수용모델을 적용하여 미세먼지 관여도, 건강관심도, 헬스리터러시를 스마트폰 사용용이성과 유용성의 선행변인으로 도입하였다. 이번 분석을 위해 전국의 스마트폰 이용자 700명을 대상으로 온라인 서베이를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 미세먼지 관여도와 헬스리터러시가 높을수록 스마트폰의 사용용이성과 유용성이 높아지는 것으로 나타났으며 건강관심도는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 스마트폰 사용용이성이 유용성에 미치는 영향, 사용용이성과 유용성이 미세먼지 예방행동의도에 미치는 영향은 모두 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보여주었다. 본 연구는 미세먼지에 대한 스마트폰 이용 맥락에서 개인의 건강 관련 변인의 확장을 통해 기술수용모델을 실증적으로 검증했다는 점에서 이론적 의의를 갖는다. 또 복잡하고 전문적인 기능보다는 좀 더 쉽고 편리하게 스마트폰을 이용할 수 있도록 사용용이성을 개선할 필요가 있다는 실무적 함의를 시사하고 있다. This study examined what factors influencing preventive behavioral intention by using the smartphone with respect to particulate matter that threatens personal health and creates social anxiety. Based on the expanded technology acceptance model (TAM II), we analyzed the model by including personal health related factors such as involvement, health concern, and health literacy as preceding variables of perceived ease of use and usefulness. For data collection, a nation-wide online survey was conducted with 700 smartphone users. Findings showed that respondents who were greater involvement and health literacy were significantly and positively related to perceived ease of use and usefulness. However, unlike the previous studies, the relationship between health concern and perceived ease of use and usefulness was not statistically significant. Results also showed that perceived ease of use significantly increased usefulness and these two variables were positively related to preventive behavioral intention. This study has a theoretical implication in that we empirically explored the TAM II through the expansion of personal health-related variables in the context of using smart phones about particulate matter. Findings also suggest that it is necessary to improve the usability to use the smartphone more easily and conveniently than the complicated and expertise functions.
유방암 환자에서 항암화학요법 후 인지기능과 후각기능의 변화 : 예비연구

Objectives:This study evaluated olfactory identification performance and cognitive impairment following chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer. Methods:A total of 18 patients with breast cancer who were treated with chemotherapy were included in this study. The patients were evaluated for mental status, cognitive function, and olfactory identification performance before chemotherapy and 6 months after chemotherapy. Paired t-tests were used to examine the differences in scores before and after chemotherapy sessions. Results:No statistically significant differences were found in the scores of subjective cognitive function and olfactory identification performance pre- and post- chemotherapy. None of the objective cognitive function test scores declined at 6 months after chemotherapy. Mean scores of word list delayed recall(p=0.011), trail making A(p=0.026), symbol search(p=0.032), and modified Stroop test(p=0.002) showed significant improvement after chemotherapy. Among them, modified Stroop test score showed statistically significant improvement after Bonferroni correction. Conclusion:Olfactory and subjective cognitive functions of patients were not impaired 6 months after chemotherapy. However, some cognitive function related to execution improved 6 months after chemotherapy. These improvements in cognitive function after chemotherapy could be due to either a practice effect, recovery from acute stress due to cancer treatment, or an anti-inflammatory effect of chemotherapy. It is necessary to study the persistence of this pattern of cognitive improvement in long term follow-up.
Dual-Mode CMOS Power Amplifier Based on Load-Impedance Modulation

<P>This letter presents a dual-mode CMOS power amplifier (PA) that has an improved efficiency using load-impedance modulation in the low-power mode (LPM) and a fully differential operation in the high-power mode (HPM). For the LPM, the transistor in the negative path of the differential pair is turned ON, as a switch, to appropriately modulate the load impedance for the transistor in the positive path using the output balun. An external switch is deployed to turn <TEX>$V_{\text {DD}}$</TEX> OFF for the negative path. In order to verify the proposed concept, a dual-mode CMOS PA IC was designed using a bulk CMOS process and an off-chip output balun, and it was evaluated using the 920-MHz narrow-band Internet of Things signal with a bandwidth of 200 kHz and a peak-to-average power ratio of 5.7 dB. For the HPM, the implemented PA exhibited a gain of 24.1 dB, a power-added efficiency (PAE) of 44.3%, and an adjacent channel leakage power ratio (ACLR) of −33.9 dBc at an average output power of 27.7 dBm. For the LPM, a gain of 19.3 dB, a PAE of 37.7%, and an ACLR of −34.9 dBc were obtained at an average output power of 21.7 dBm.</P>
