The stochiometric mix of evaporating materials for the ZnGa₂Se₄single crystal thin films were prepared from horizental furnace. The polycrystal structure obtaind from the power x-ray diffraction was defect chalcopyrite. The lattice costants a。and c。were a。=5.51 A, c。=10.98 A. To obtains the single crystal thin films, ZnGa₂Se₄mixed crystal were deposited on throughly etched Si(100) by the Hot Wall Epitaxy (HWE) system. The temperates of the source and the substrate were 590℃ and 450℃, respectively. The crystalline structure of single crystal thin films was investigated by the double crystal X-ray diffraction (DCXD). Hall effect on this sample was measured by the method of van der Pauw and studied on carrier density and mobility dependence on temperature. In order to explore the applicability as a photoconductive cell, we measured the sensitivity (r), the ratio of photocurrent to dark current (pc/dc), maximum allowable power dissipation (MAPD), spectral response and response time.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Dysregulated serum fatty acids are associated with a lipotoxic placental environment, which contributes to increased pregnancy complications via altered trophoblast invasion. However, the role of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids in trophoblastic autophagy has yet to be explored. Here, we demonstrated that prolonged exposure of saturated fatty acids interferes with the invasiveness of human extravillous trophoblasts. Saturated fatty acids (but not unsaturated fatty acids) inhibited the fusion of autophagosomes and lysosomes, resulting in the formation of intracellular protein aggregates. Furthermore, when the trophoblast cells were exposed to saturated fatty acids, unsaturated fatty acids counteracted the effects of saturated fatty acids by increasing degradation of autophagic vacuoles. Saturated fatty acids reduced the levels of the matrix metalloproteinases (MMP)-2 and MMP-9, while unsaturated fatty acids maintained their levels. In conclusion, saturated fatty acids induced decreased trophoblast invasion, of which autophagy dysfunction plays a major role.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> SFAs induce insoluble protein aggregation in trophoblasts. </LI> <LI> SFAs impair autophagosome-lysosome fusion in trophoblasts. </LI> <LI> UFAs attenuate SFA-induced protein aggregate formation. </LI> <LI> UFAs restore the invasive capabilities of trophoblasts. </LI> </UL> </P>

The CdS₁? Se? thin films were grown on the GaAs(100) wafers by a Hot Wall Epitaxy method (HWE). The temperatures the source and the substrate temperature are 580℃ and 440℃ respectively. The crystalline structure of thin films was investigated by double crystal X-ray diffraction (DCXD). Hall effect on the sample was measured by the van der Pauw method and studied on the carrier density and mobility dependence on temperature. In order to explore the applicability as a photoconductive cell, we measured the sensitivity(r), the ratio of photocurrent to darkcurrent(pc/dc), maximum allowable power dissipation (MAPD), spectral response and response time.
Comparative Study of Dry Storage Condition Characteristics of HANA and Commercial Cladding

In nuclear fuel development research, consideration of the back-end cycle is essential. In particular, a review of an in-reactor performance of nuclear fuel related to the various degradation phenomena that can occur during spent fuel dry storage is an important area. The important factors affecting the degradation of zirconium-based cladding during dry storage are the cladding’s hydrogen concentration and rod internal pressure after irradiation. In this study, a preliminary analysis of the in-reactor behavior of the HANA cladding, which has been developed and is currently undergoing licensing review, was performed, and based on this result, a comparative analysis between nuclear fuel with HANA cladding and current commercial fuel under storage conditions was performed. The results show that the rod internal pressure of nuclear fuel with HANA cladding is not significantly different from that of commercial cladding, and the hydrogen concentration in the cladding tends to reduce due to the increased corrosion resistance, so fuel integrity in a dry storage conditions is not expected to be a major problem. Although the lack of cladding creep data under dry storage conditions, the results from the Halden research reactor test comparing in-reactor creep behavior with Zircaloy-4 showed that there is sufficient margin for degradation due to creep during storage.
