        Korea has three typical porcelains, which are celadon porcelains, white porcelains, and iron-painted porcelains. The iron-painted porcelain appears dark-brown or black when we paint a porcelain white and draw a picture with a color which is rich in iron. The iron-painted porcelain has much artistic merit, for it isn't scratched or sculptured like other porcelains but drawn a picture with a brush. It shows all things in nature with various designs. The designs express them schematically, abstractly, or humorously, but they show the humor of a free human being on the whole and go with the sense of modem times. In the iron-painted porcelain, Kyeryongsan has the biggest kiln site in our country and it shows the characteristic structure, But, regreffably, we haven't inherited ceramic tradition from here, instead it has developed sucessfully in Japan. The potter, Lee Sam-pyo˘ng, in Kyeryongsan was taken to Japan in the Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592. He built arita, a ceramic village in Japan and the great reputation of its ceramic art extended to Europe Afterwards, the Japanese descendants of the potter from Choso˘n erected a monument to the memory of their ancestor, Lee Sam-pyo˘ng at parkjo˘ngja in Kyerongsan. Now, we don't carry out briskly its researches in Korea, but, in Japan, they have lively researches and many ceramic works. Therefore, I want to revive the iron-painted porcelain by the scientific analysis and build the true character of the potters in Choso˘n.

        Estimation of the Number of Change-Points with Local Linear Fit

        The aim of this paper is to consider of detecting the location, the jump size and the number of change-points in regression functions by using the local linear fit which is one of nonparametric regression techniques. It is obtained the asymptotic properties of the change points and the jump sizes. and the correspondin grates of convergence for change-point estimators.

        There are several methods to produce colors for ceramics ; for instance, pigments, glaze, and clays can influence the color of ceramics. The concentration of this research paper is to explain about the coloring of ceramics with the pigments. There are many things that can be used as a pigment : tiles, ceramic, crayons, ceramic pencils, playthings, coloring matter clyas, and table wares. Up to the present, the pigments have been researched throughly. However, the pigments which are artificially manufactured through the using of raw substances and mixing of metrials have been widely studied and recently developed. The pigments are not dissolved, when they are in a porcelain-kiln under a high temperature. In addition, because the pigment's caricteristics do not combine with the glazes chamically in a kiln, it is widly recomended as one of the best coloring materials to make elean and pure color for ceramics. I wish that this research paper will be helpful for artists uho make ceramics and factories which produce pigments for domestic production.

      • Automated Synthesis of Moore and Mealy-model Time-stationary Controllers for Pipelined Data Path of Application Specific Integrated Circuits

        본 논문은 파이프라인 방식의 ASIC 데이타 경로를 제어하기 위한 무어 및 밀리식 의 시간 정지형 콘트롤러에 관한 연구이다. 조건분기(conditional branches)를 가진 데이타흐름도로 부터 무어 및 밀리식의 유한상태기(finite state machine) 콘트롤러 를 합성하는 방법을 소개한다. 콘트롤 합성은 콘트롤 명세서의 작성과 유한상태기의 합성으로 구성된다. 콘트롤 명세서를 작성하기 위한 과정들을 통해 상태표(state table)의 형태로 표현되는 유한상태기의 내역이 작성된다. 이 유한상태기를 여러 가지 다른 방식의 분할 과정과 축소화 과정을 거쳐 최소 면적을 가진 콘트롤러가 합성된다. 실험을 통해 두가지 콜트롤 방식의 특성을 비교하며 또한 두 모델의 비용과 성능의 영향 관계를 보여준다. In this paper we discuss Moore and Mealy-model Time-stationary control schemes of pipelined data paths of Application Specific, Integrated Circuits (ASICs). We developed a method to synthesize both a Moore and a Mealy-style Finite State Machine(FSM) controller specifications given a pipelined data path with conditional branches. The control synthesis task consists of the generation of control specification and the FSM synthesis. The control specification procedure generates a FSM specification in the form of a state table. The different partitioning schemes are applied to each FSM controller so as to minimize the total area. Experimental results show the characteristics of the two different control styles and the effects of these two models on cost and performance.

        Several methods are proposed for optimizing Fourier series estimators with respect to Mean Integrated Square Error metrics. Traditionally, such method have followed. one of two basic strategies; A stopping rules or the rules of determine multipliers. A central hypothesis of this study is that better estimates can be obtained by combining the two strategies. A new multiplier sequence is proposed, which used in conjunction with any of the stopping rules, is shown to improve the performance of estimator which relies solely on a stopping rule.

        Goodness-of-Fit Test Based on Smoothing Parameter Selection Criteria

        The Proposed goodness-of-fit test Statistic $\hat{\lambda}_{\alpha}$ derived from the test Statistc in Kim (1992) is itself a smoothing parameter which is selected to minimize an estimated MISE for a truncated series estimator, $d_{\hat{\lambda}{n}}$, of the comparison density function. Therefore, this test statistic leads immediately to a point estimate of the density function in the event that $H_{0}$ is ejected. The limiting distribution of $\hat{\lambda}_{\alpha}$ was obtained under the null hypothesis. It is also shown that this test is consistent against fixed alternatives.

        전력설비를 위한 디지털보호계전기의 FPGA 구현

        보호계전기는 고장에 의해 파생되는 단락$\cdot$지락 사고로부터 전력 시스템을 보호하기 위하여 널리 사용되고 있다. 전통적으로 디지털보호계전기는 디지털신호처리 프로세서 혹은 마이크로프로세서로 구현되는데 본 연구는 이를 고성능$\cdot$고효율$\cdot$다기능의 단일칩으로 구현하기 위한 하드웨어 설계 기술에 관해 다룬다. 제작된 디지털보호계전기는 FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)로 구현하였고 16KSPS이상의 처리 성능을 가지며 평균 오차율 $0.03(\%)$미만으로 보호계전알고리즘을 수행할 수 있다. Protective relays provide important features to electrical power systems for protecting against faults and consequent short circuits. This research presents a novel VLSI design of the digital protective relay, which overcomes today's uP/DSP-based relays. This design features good cancellation of DC/k-th harmonic components, noticeable not performance and flexible Protection behavior in the minimized core area The proposed design was successfully implemented by a FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) device and can concurrently process over 16KSPS at less $0.03[\%]$ error rate.

        주민등록 0세-6세 인구의 역 추정과 기존 인구통계와의 출생아수 비교

        The problem of Korean registered population is that population classified by age increases as one grows older until 6 age or 7 age. This paper is to suggest an algorithm of the re-projection under 7 age on Korean registered population and to analysis of comparison with the reported population statistical data. As the result, the reprojections population is trusted in the number of 0 age on the comparison of other reported population statistical data. 1998년부터 집계된 연령별 주민등록인구통계의 오류는 0세 혹은 출생아가 연령상승에 따라 인구수가 점점 늘어나서 6세 혹은 7세가 되는 해에 인구가 최대가 되고, 6세 혹은 7세 이후로부터 인구가 점차 감소하는 현상이 나타난다는 것이다. 본 연구는 장래의 인구추론에 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 0세-6세의 각 연령별 주민등록인구에서 미래에 1세-7세가 되는 인구를 예측하고, 최대치를 기준으로 0세-6세 인구를 '완전생명표'를 이용하여 0세-6세의 역순으로 역 추정 한다. 결론적으로 0세-6세까지의 제시된 역 추정 인구수는 기존의 인구통계데이터들 보다도 신뢰할 수 있다.
