        Application of noise reduction and heat insulation based on controlled-size polystyrene hollow microspheres

        Core/shell polymer microspheres containing carboxyl group were prepared by emulsion polymerization,and then the hollow polymer microspheres (PHMs) were formed by infiltration and swelling after alkalisolution post-treatment. Effects of emulsifier types and initial pH of alkali post-treatment on the particlesize distribution and morphology of PHMs emulsion were investigated. Foamed animal skin material(FAS) was obtained by cross-linking and curing the skin collagen materials with PHMs. The resultsshowed that the optimal initial pH was 9, and a stable PHMs emulsion with a maximum average particlesize of 888.5 nm was obtained. The average particle size order of the PHMs emulsions obtained with differentemulsifiers was: sodium stearate (1028.0 nm) > SDBS (823.6 nm) > cetyltrimethylammonium chloride(607.4 nm). The mechanical strength, porosity, and thermal stability of FAS were enhanced by PHMsdispersing and fixing, while its natural permeability and softness were retained. In addition, the whitenessand ultraviolet aging resistance of FAS were improved obviously. The thermal conductivity of FASwas reduced to 0.034 W/(Km), which was in line with the standard of polystyrene foam board for buildingmaterials. In the range of 2000 7000 Hz, the sound transmission loss of FAS reaches 25 40 dB.

        alAn Intratracheal Challenge Murine Model of Asthma: Can Bronchial Inflammation Affect the Nose?

        Purpose: Extensive data support the influence of the upper airway on lower airway inflammation and pathophysiology in allergic disease. However, few studies have focused on allergic inflammation in the nose after an isolated lower airway allergen challenge, a situation that can exist clinically when human subjects breathe primarily through the mouth, as occurs when nasally congested. This study used a mouse model to investigate whether upper airway inflammation and hyperresponsiveness were induced by an isolated lower airway allergen challenge. Methods: BALB/c mice were sensitized by systemic intraperitoneal injection of ovalbumin/saline and challenged with intratracheal ovalbumin/saline. Inflammation in the nose and lungs was assessed by cytology and histology of nasal tissues and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), while nasal airway resistance and response were measured over 3 days post-challenge. Results: Intratracheal application of an allergen in anaesthetized mice resulted in exclusive deposition in the lower airway. Compared to control animals, ovalbumin -sensitized mice after challenge showed bronchial hyperreactivity and increased IL-5 in the serum BALF, as well as eosinophil infiltration in the lungs. However, nasal histology of the ovalbumin-sensitized mice showed no increase in eosinophil infiltration. The nasal lavage fluid revealed no increase in eosinophils or IL-5, and the nasal airway resistance did not increase after challenge either. Conclusions: In a mouse allergy model, exclusive allergen challenge of the lower airway can elicit a pulmonary and systemic allergic response, but does not induce upper airway inflammatory or physiological responses.

      • A Parallel Algorithm of String Matching Based on Message Passing Interface for Multicore Processors

        Multicore has long been considered an attractive platform for string matching. However, some existing traditional algorithms of string matching do not adapt to multicore platform, which pose new challenges to parallelism designs. In this paper, we introduce a multicore architecture with message passing interface to address these challenges. We exploit the popular Aho-Corasick algorithm for the string matching engine. Data parallelism is utilized to design optimization technique of string matching. The experiments show that an implementation of the 8-core system achieves up to 10.5 Gbps throughput on the average.

      • Parallel FM Signal Demodulation System based on Software Radio Platform

        A parallel FM signal demodulation system is designed in this paper. All FM signals from 90MHz to 110MHz could be captured, separated and restored into original information. The method of digital channelized receiving is used in the system to divide the broadband signals into independent ones according to their center frequency. This design could be used in the field of electron reconnaissance and multichannel communication system. We realized the design on a software radio platform based on the structure of SCA (Software Communication Architecture), and the advantages of this ideal is discussed in the paper.

        Hybrid Recommendation Algorithm for User Satisfaction-oriented Privacy Model

        Anonymization technology is an important technology for privacy protection in the process of data release. Usually, before publishing data, the data publisher needs to use anonymization technology to anonymize the original data, and then publish the anonymized data. However, for data publishers who do not have or have less anonymized technical knowledge background, how to configure appropriate parameters for data with different characteristics has become a more difficult problem. In response to this problem, this paper adds a historical configuration scheme resource pool on the basis of the traditional anonymization process, and configuration parameters can be automatically recommended through the historical configuration scheme resource pool. On this basis, a privacy model hybrid recommendation algorithm for user satisfaction is formed. The algorithm includes a forward recommendation process and a reverse recommendation process, which can respectively perform data anonymization processing for users with different anonymization technical knowledge backgrounds. The privacy model hybrid recommendation algorithm for user satisfaction described in this paper is suitable for a wider population, providing a simpler, more efficient and automated solution for data anonymization, reducing data processing time and improving the quality of anonymized data, which enhances data protection capabilities.

        Polymerization of Vinyl Acetate Initiated by Hydrosilane in the Presence of Platinum Complex

        In this work, a series of hydrosilanes including phenylsilane, diphenylsilane, triethylsilane (TES), and tris(trimethylsilyl)silane combined with catalytical amount of platinum complex such as dichloro(1,5-cyclooctadiene) platinum (COD) and dichloro(dicyclopentadienyl)platinum have been used to initiate the polymerization of vinyl acetate (VAc) at 70-95 ℃. An ultrahigh molecular weight PVAc with number-average molecular weight (Mn) up to 1.17×10<SUP>6</SUP> Da and polydispersity index (PDI) of 2.59 has been synthesized using TES as an initiator in the presence of 9.7 ppm of COD. A kinetic study indicates that the polymerization at VAc/TES/COD molar ratio = 3.0×10<SUP>5</SUP> : 60 : 1 smoothly reached 81.0% conversion in 28.0 h at 85 ℃, producing PVAc with Mn increasing linearly from 1.41×105 to 6.01×10<SUP>5</SUP> Da with the increase of monomer conversion. A mechanistic investigation revealed that COD was firstly reduced by reductive TES, producing Pt nanoparticles and corresponding silane radicals to initiate the polymerization of VAc.

        Efficient Isolation and Characterization of a Cellulase Hyperproducing Mutant Strain of Trichoderma reesei

        A cellulase hyperproducing mutant strain, JNDY-13, was obtained using the ARTP mutation system and with Trichoderma reesei RUT-C30 as the parent strain. Whole-genome sequencing of JNDY-13 confirmed that 105 of the 653 SNPs were point mutations, 336 mutations were deletions and 165 were insertions. Moreover, 99 mutations were insertions and duplications. Among all the mutations, the one that occurred in the galactokinase gene might be related to the production of cellulases in T. reesei JNDY-13. Moreover, the up-regulation of cellulase and hemicellulase genes in JNDY-13 might contribute to higher cellulases production. Under optimal conditions, the highest cellulase activity by batch fermentation reached 4.35 U/ml, and the highest activity of fed-batch fermentation achieved was 5.40 U/ml.

      • Flower development and the expression analysis, genetic transformation and functional verification of LEAFY in Juglans mandshurica

        Juglans mandshurica is a precious timber and economic tree species. The species is monoecious heterodichogamous with protogynous and protandrous mating strategies that occur at a 1:1 ratio and are randomly distributed in the population. The inconsistent male and female flowering periods of the same mating type result in the low yield of this species. In this study, the morphological and anatomical development of the male and female flowers of J. mandshurica were analyzed by histological and scanning electron microscopy analysis. In addtion, the crucial gene involved in plant flowering, LEAFY (LFY) was cloned from J. mandshurica by homologous cloning, and the expression analysis of JmLFY in different organs at various developmental stages and its genetic transformation and functional verification were also conducted. The results revealed that the male floral morphological development of J. mandshurica was divided into seven phases, while that of the female flower was nine. Four stages were shared between the male and female flower’s anatomical development. These results indicate that there was minimal overlap between sexual functions within the same mating type, guaranteeing synchronization, mutual non-interference, outcrossing, and avoidance of self-fertilization. Overexpression of JmLFY gene promoted the expression of flowering related genes (such as AtAP1、AtSOC1 and AtPI) and the transformation from vegetative growth to reproductive growth in Arabidopsis, promoted the flowering about 8d in advance. These results provide a theoretical basis for improving fruit yield and quality by artificial pollination control, shortening childhood and allocating protogynous and protandrous individuals in a population reasonably.

        Back-channel-etched InGaZnO thin-film transistors with Au nanoparticles on the back channel surface

        In this paper, Au nanoparticles (NPs) were introduced on the surface of oxide thin fi lm to enhance the etching resistance of thethin fi lm, and back-channel-etched (BCE) InGaZnO (IGZO) thin fi lm transistors (TFTs) with Au NPs on the back channel surfacewere successfully fabricated. Detailed studies showed that the etching resistance of IGZO thin fi lms was enhanced signifi cantly byintroducing Au NPs on IGZO thin fi lms, and the etching resistance was enhanced with the increase of Au NPs thickness. Furthermore,Au NPs deposited by vaccum evaporation were uniformly dispersed on the IGZO surface other than forming a continuousthin fi lm. By introducing the Au NPs on the IGZO surface, we successfully patterned the S/D electrodes on Au NPs/IGZO andfabricated BCE TFTs. The IGZO-TFTs with 5-nm-thick Au NPs on the back channel surface exhibited excellent electrical characteristicwith a μ sat of 9.9 cm 2 /V s, a SS of 0.26 V/decade, a V on of 0.23 V, an I on/off of 10 6 and an off -state current of 10 −11 A. Inaddition, the introduction of Au NPs did not lead to an increase in the off -state current, which was mainly ascribed to the Schottkybarrier between Au NPs and IGZO due to the high work function of Au. It is a universal method to fabricate BCE TFTs with highelectrical performance, because it was not limited to the types of oxide materials and had no special requirements for equipment.
