The torsional vibration signal of a reciprocating internal combustion engine is a useful tool for monitoring the operating state of the engine, similar to the pulse signal in our body, which serves as the basic diagnostic tool in oriental medicine for assessing the pathogenesis of the human body. In comparison with several other methods for detecting a misfiring cylinder, a method employing the torsional vibration signal is considered to be highly effective in terms of accuracy, time, and cost. This study proposes a method for detecting a misfiring cylinder using the measured torsional vibration signal. The fundamental frequency amplitude and phase angle of the torsional vibration signal are found to distinguish the misfire occurrence and misfiring cylinder position, respectively. The proposed method is verified by analysis and numerical simulation using two-stroke, four-stroke, in-line, and V-type engines.

최근 뛰어난 관상가치 및 특이적 생육 형태로 남획이 급격히 이루어지면서 국내 멸절 위기에 처한 금자란 복원을 위한 자생지 내 도입 실험을 수행하였다. 도입에 이용된 식물들은 제주도에 생육하는 야생 개체에서 성숙한 종자를 직접 채취하여 기내배양에 의한 대량증식한 개체들이며 계대배양과 순화작업을 거친 3년생 개체들을 이용하였다. 복원대상지는 과거 자생 기록이 있었지만 지금은 찾아볼 수 없는 한라산 해발 600-700m의 활엽수와 상록수의 혼효림의 일부 계곡주위로 선정하였다. 금자란의 적절한 생육 환경 특성을 파악하고자 착생목의 수종, 흉고직경, 높이 및 방위을 고려하여 도입하였으며 기근의 원활한 활착을 위해 스템플러를 이용하여 식물체를 직접 부착하였다. 식물도입 후 200일이 지난 뒤 1차 생존율을 조사한 결과 전체 108개체 중 29개체(26.9%)가 생존하고 있었다. 계곡방향에 부착한 76개체중 24개체(31.6%), 계곡반대방향은 32개체중 5개체(15.6%)가 생존하였다. 높이별로는 4-10m에 부착한 48개체 중 14개체(29.2%), 0.8-2m에 60개체중 15개체(25.0%)가 생존하였다. Spearman의 방법을 이용한 변이요인간의 상관관계를 분석한 결과 흉고직경과 생존율간의 양의 상관관계가 나타났다. Plant introduction study of Saccolabium matsuran that is rare species in Korea due to the overhunting by human activity was carried out for the habitat restoration. Introduced individuals was 3-year-old after in vitro massive propagation using wild seeds collected in habitat. Plant introduction target area was located at an elevation of 600-700m and mixed forest near the valley. This regions was known as a past habitat of S. matsuran but not now. In order to understand the habitat characteristics of S. matsuran, individuals was introduced in consideration of an epiphytic trees, D.B.H., Height and bering and using stapler due to the smoothy aerial roots insertion. As a result of first monitoring, 29 (26.9%) of a total 108 individuals were survived after seedling introduction. In valley direction, 24 (31.6%) of a total 76 individuals were survived and 5 (15.6%) of a total 32 individuals were survived in forest direction. Depending on the height, 14 (29.2%) of a total 48 individuals were survived in 4-10m height and 15 (25.0%) of a total 15 individuals were survived in 0.8-2m height. As a result of correlation analysis using the Spearman method of analysis, DBH and survival rate have strongly positive correlation.

“Shuxiu(束脩)” means a bundle of dried meat that is the smallest present in the Warring States period. Confucius had never denied every one who had brought the proprietary dried meat for his instruction. Propriety had been regarded as important, and in Confucianism it was the most important learning subject that was essential in cultivating oneself, since it was supposed that one could teach others only after completing self-culture. That is the Confucian philosophy for “cure others after self-culture.” Self-culture means self-struggle, and the learning effort for that is “to completely overcome selfishness and keep to propriety.” “To overcome selfishness” means one`s metal overcoming, and the necessary learning for that is to keep to propriety. The clue for it lies in one`s mind, that is, the mental pivot. As Confucius philosophy, based on one`s mind, puts great emphasis on mental self-culture, so it is also of great importance in philosophical cure for the disease of the mind. Regarding propriety and music as the method for restoring social order and relieving the world, Confucius sought for ancient historical evidence for them. In modern society it is difficult to exactly measure the speed of social change, so it may not be necessary to follow the system of the Warring States period, but something to be changed should be changed according to reality, and if something is deficient, it should be complemented according to reality. Excessive obsession to the past cannot expect further development, however, passing over it may lead to loss of direction due to insufficiency of future-orientation. This study aims at seeking for development of philosophical cure by applying ancient traditional propriety to one`s mental self-culture.

본 연구는 희귀 및 특산식물과 멸종위기야생식물 Ⅱ급으로 지정되어 있는 세뿔투구꽃의 자생지 환경을 조사하여 보전 및 복원 시 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 조사결과 세뿔투구꽃의 자생지는 해발고도 260-728m범위와 경사 4-39˚의 계곡부에 주로 생육하는 것으로 조사되었다. 식생 및 관속식물 조사결과 7개 지역의 20개 방형구내에서 조사된 관속식물은 총 147분류군이 출현하였으며, 각 조사구내 초본층 피도와 빈도를 기초로 한 세뿔투구꽃의 중요치를 산출한결과 평균 24.3%로 나타났다. 종다양도는 1.23로 산출되었으며, 우점도와 균등도는 각각 0.22와 0.77로 확인되었다. 토양분석 결과 토성은 미사질양토(4site)와 사질양토(2site), 양토(1site) 순으로 나타났으며, 유기물함량은 7.83%, 전질소함량은 0.35%, pH는 5.69으로 측정되었다. 환경요인과 개체군특성에 기초한 상관분석에서는 세뿔투구꽃의 자생지에서 엽록소와 경사도간의 강한 부의상관이 인정되었고, 개화율과 토양습도는 부의상관이 인정되었다. 자생지의 안정적인 유지를 위해서는 서식지 보전이 중요하며 서식지 주변에 보호구역을 설정이 필요하다고 판단된다. The habitat characteristics of Aconitum austrokoreense Koidz. were investigated to provide basic data for conservation and restoration. The altitude ranged from 260m to 728m with inclinations of 4-39˚. As a result of vegetation survey within natural populations, a total of 147 taxa were identified inside 20 quadrates in 7 natural habitats. The importance value of Aconitum austrokoreense was 23.0% based on the coverage and frequency of the herbaceous layer and sat is more dominant. Species diversity was 1.23, and dominace and evenness were found to be 0.22 and 0.77, respectively. The soil type were silty loam (four sites), sandy loam (two sites) and loam (one site). The average field organic matter was 7.83% and the total nitrogen and pH were 0.35, and 5.69. Correlation analysis between environmental factors and population characteristic showed the correlations between chlorophyll content and slope, flowering rate and soil humidity. Conservation on habitats conditions is important for stable maintenance the flora and the surrounding area including habitats has to be designated a protection area for habitats conservation.
