The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of a new lumbar stabilization exercise program, Body Action Therapy, on back alignment, low back strength and pain for women participants with chronic low back pain. 18 female participants with chronic low back pain were recruited and randomly and evenly allocated in two groups, a Body Action Therapy (BAT) group and a control group. The BAT group did prescribed exercise for 60 minutes 3 times a week for 12 weeks while the control group had no intervention including exercise for the same time. The BAT exercise program showed that there was significant difference from Pelvic Tilt through back alignment analysis after BAT exercise. Additionally, the BAT group demonstrated significant difference in 30°/sec of trunk extension after lumbar strength analysis compare to the control group. Finally, the BAT group showed less pain than the control group after the change of pain analysis component of the BAT program. As a result, this study showed that the BAT exercise program for women participants with chronic low back pain had positive effects on back alignment, low back strength and low back pain. Accordingly, we can conclude the BAT exercise program is a suitable therapy that provides effective outcomes for these women.
Effect of Substrate Temperature on Residual Stress of ZnO Thin Films Prepared by Ion Beam Deposition
Ju-Won Jeon,Myoung Kim,장이운,J. L. Hoffman,Peter Kim,In-Hwan Lee 대한금속·재료학회 2012 ELECTRONIC MATERIALS LETTERS Vol.8 No.1
We have investigated the effect of substrate temperature on micro-structural properties of ZnO thin films prepared by ion beam deposition technique. ZnO thin films were deposited on AlN-buffered Si (111) and sapphire (001) substrates at various substrate temperatures. The structural properties and surface morphologies were examined by high resolution X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The RMS roughness was measured by atomic force microscopy. XRD measurements confirmed that the ZnO thin films were grown well on the AlN-buffered Si (111) and sapphire (001) substrates along the c-axis. Minimization of residual stress was carried out by tuning the substrate temperature. The structural properties were notably improved with increasing substrate temperature.

<P>Nine new compounds, tris-aromatic furanones (<B>1</B>, <B>2</B>, <B>3a</B>, <B>3b</B>, and <B>4</B>) and related bis-aromatic diesters (<B>5a</B>, <B>5b</B>, <B>6a</B>, and <B>6b</B>), are described from the ascidian <I>Synoicum</I> sp. collected off the coast of Chuja-do, Korea. The structures of these compounds, designated as cadiolides E and G–I (<B>1</B>–<B>4</B>) and synoilides A and B (<B>5</B> and <B>6</B>), were determined by extensive spectroscopic analyses. The absolute configuration at the asymmetric center of cadiolide G (<B>2</B>) was assigned by ECD analysis. Of these new compounds, cadiolide I and the synoilides possess unprecedented carbon skeletons. Several of these compounds exhibited significant inhibition against diverse bacterial strains as well as moderate inhibition against the enzymes sortase A, isocitrate lyase, and Na+/K+-ATPase.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/jnprdf/2012/jnprdf.2012.75.issue-12/np3005562/production/images/medium/np-2012-005562_0004.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/np3005562'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

Coronary artery vasculitis: assessment with cardiac multi-detector computed tomography.
Jeon, Chang Ho,Kim, Yeo Koon,Chun, Eun Ju,Kim, Jeong A,Yong, Hwan Seok,Doo, Kyung Won,Choi, Sang Il Kluwer Academic Publishers 2015 INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF CARDIOVASCULAR IMAGING Vol.31 No.1
<P>Coronary artery vasculitis is rare and comprises an array of inflammatory diseases. It often results in severe and life-threatening complications, including coronary artery aneurysm, coronary artery stenosis, intraluminal thrombosis, and microcirculation abnormalities. These may occur at a young age and are often silent in the early phases. Invasive coronary angiography is the gold standard for diagnosing coronary artery disease (CAD); however, multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) is now widely regarded as a powerful non-invasive tool for the detection of CAD. It is important for clinicians to recognize the various CT findings associated with coronary artery vasculitis in order to promote accurate diagnosis and proper patient management. The purpose of this article is to present an overview of the conditions associated with coronary artery vasculitis, with an emphasis on etiology and cardiac MDCT diagnosis of CAD. Cardiac MDCT is clinically useful and can provide information for the accurate diagnosis and treatment of coronary vasculitis.</P>
Water-processable, sprayable LiFePO4/graphene hybrid cathodes for high-power lithium ion batteries
Ju-Won Jeon,Manik C. Biswas,Corey L. Patton,Evan K. Wujcik 한국공업화학회 2020 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.84 No.-
Here, we demonstrate facile water-processable and sprayable electrode fabrication methods for LiFePO4/graphene hybrid cathodes in LIBs, without using an organic solvent. The multi-functionality of grapheneoxide (GO), as a dispersant, binder, and precursor for the conductive graphene, was exploited in thisfabrication process. Additional polymeric binders or conductive carbons were unnecessary. At highcurrent rates, this water-processed LiFePO4/reduced graphene oxide (LFP/rGO) can store a larger amountof charges than conventional LFP cathodes produced by the previously formulated organic slurry-basedblade coating method. The LFP/rGO electrode consisting of 80 wt.% LFP and 20 wt.% rGO showed capacityof 37 mA h g 1 at a very high current rate (2040 mA g 1). In contrast, the conventional LFP–basedelectrodes fabricated with poly(vinylidenefluoride), and carbon black in an organic solvent, exhibitednegligible capacity (<1 mA h g 1) at such a high current rate. The cycling stability of the sprayed LFP/rGOelectrode was also significantly higher than that of the conventional LFP–based electrodes under harshelectrochemical conditions. After 1000 cycles at 3400 mA g 1 from 1.5 to 4.5 V (vs. Li/Li+), the sprayed LFP/rGO and conventional LFP/PVdF/carbon electrode exhibited capacity retention levels of 88% and 38%,respectively.
An Investigation on Developing the Shelter and Safety Facilities of FOREST KINDERGARTENS
Jeon Mi-ja,Park Ju-sik,Lim Won-hyeon J-INSTITUTE 2020 Protection Convergence Vol.5 No.1
This dissertation aims at investigating the geographical conditions, facilities, programs and status of the shelter and safety facilities of nine selected forest kindergartens in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province in Korea. Based on the surveys of instructors and participating teachers of forest kindergartens, this study provides several suggestions for improving the shelter and safety facilities of forest kindergartens. The surveyed forest kindergartens had an average of 2.5 forest kindergarten instructors, while the number of participating children in the programs were gradually increasing. In 2017, an average of 9,621.5 children participated in the programs. In some forest kindergartens, the number of participants increased more than two times, three times in 2017 compared to 2016. As a result, this study suggests following three improvements for the shelter and safety facilities in forest kindergartens. First, the scope of use of the shelters need to be expanded. Emergency kit should be kept in the shelters and the shelters should be constructed as fire-and-quake proof buildings. The shelters need to have air-conditioning and heating so that children can take a rest or enjoy more activities in the shelters. Second, safety facilities need to be improved to have more secure escape routes, more CCTVs and the safety facilities monitoring should be strengthened. Sign board for the children should also be improved to provide more details of the surrounding risks with pictures. Third, safety management should also be improved. Instructors and participating teachers of forest kindergartens need to have more training opportunities to learn how to utilize the shelter and safety facilities and they need to be more responsible and capable in securing safety in the daily activities in forest kindergartens.
