Construction Materials Allocation with Genetic Algorithm

The construction material allocation method provides a logical order and priority for space planning decisions with reasonable costs. Genetic Algorithm (GA) modeling assumptions are made in order to properly allocate space for construction materials after super structure work. It will result in lower computational costs and increase in productivity. A Java program was developed to experiment and implement the Genetic Algorithm (GA) system. Computational result from a case of GA is presented. There was significantly different objective for a case that was applied on the actual ongoing building that is located in a high-density area. The model improved 14% in the total distance between working space and materials.

Korean overseas construction has been on the rise, and exceeded the 2011 goal of $50 billion by securing $59.1 billion in orders. However, these orders were heavily concentrated in the Middle East (50%) and plant construction contracts (75%). This study suggests that, to maintain growth in foreign markets, Korea construction companies should enter into the high value-added investment development business and aggressively seek ways to diversify their regions of activity and construction types. To secure the entry of Korean construction companies into lucrative markets and better understand the competitive factors facing Korean construction concerns, a survey of the literature and focus group discussions targeting relevant experts were carried out. From those efforts, a list of 44 competitive factors crucial to entering and competing in the international investment development business was developed. Survey responses were analyzed by applying IPA. The results revealed that while Korean concerns compete well in engineering/technical capabilities, maintaining a cooperative relationship with contractors, and warranty/after sales service capabilities, their ability to obtain business information on the target country, to form private/public cooperative systems, and to build international human networks require immediate improvement.

The main purpose of this study is to suggest key corporate strategies that can be applied by Korean construction companies by analyzing major Japanese construction companies in the unfavorable market environment. In addition to the main objective, this study aims to see if there is any possibility that Korean construction market could face long-term recession that Japan has been experiencing over the past 20 years by analyzing the long-term trend of Japanese construction market. Four corporate strategies utilized by major Japanese construction companies are: 1)improvement of market share; 2)expansion of value chain; 3)diversification of house-related business; 4)expansion of overseas construction market advance. The findings of this study can be used as useful materials in order to identify effective strategies of Korean construction companies that need to find a way for sustainable growth in the future.
국내건설기업의 경쟁력 제고를 위한 글로벌 건설기업의 전략 연구

This study aimed to recommend key strategies that can be utilized by Korean construction firms that need to overcome various challenges in overseas construction markets. In order to achieve the purpose, this study analyzed strategies and financial performance of four US and eight Europe construction firms, respectively. In result, six critical strategies commonly used in those construction firms include M&A and strategic joint venture, market diversification, business diversification, work type concentration, R&D, and global network. In addition, there are meaningful differences among construction firms in terms of utilization of strategies. For US construction firms, R&D and strategic alliance are the most effective strategies for sustainable growth. However, Europe construction firms use M&A, business concentration and market concentration as key stragegies for their growth. The findings of this study can be used as materials in order to develop effective strategies of Korean construction firms.
BSA 기법을 활용한 사업유형별 베트남 건축시장 진출 역량 평가

With achieved US$ 500 Billion international cumulative construction order in 2012, the Korean government presented overseas construction industry visions for international orders of US$ 100 Billion and entering the top five countries in global construction market. Also, Korean companies are developing strategies for expansion of international markets. However, East Asia construction market is getting bigger and developing especially Vietnamese construction market. This study provides data-based advice on securing competence for Korean construction companies entering the Vietnamese Building Construction Market. To analysis construction firm’s competitiveness for Vietnamese Building Construction Market, FGD was utilized and BSA model was applied to the valuable analysis. The results of this study were as follows; supply chain management, supplier relationship management, and brand marketing power are needed for public tender projects and F/S, global project financing, and economic analysis are needed for construction investment projects.

임프란트 식립 과정 중 많은 부분에서 골 이식을 필요로 하며,골 이식을 했을 때의 가장 큰 단점 중 하나인 장기간의 치유기간에 대한문제를해결하기 위해 많은 연구가이루어 졌었다. 그 중 Platelet rich plasma(PRP) gel의 사용은 치유 속도를 많이 줄여 줄 수 있다는 보고가 많이 있었으며,Marx. 등은 자가골과 PRP를 함께 사 용하였을 경우 40%정도 치요 기간을 단축할 수 있다고 보고 하기도 하였다. 이 렇게 구강악안면 수술 영 역 에 서 PRP의 사용은 증가 하고 있다. 이 런 PRP를 만드는 과정에서 응고를 돕기 위해 calcium chloride 와 bovine thrombin을 사용하고 있다. bovine thrombin의 사용이 큰 문제를 야기하지 않는다는 보고도 있지만,어떤 연구 에서 는 bovine thrombin의 사용이 혈액 응고 인자인 factor V, XI 과 thrombin 에 antibody를 만든다고 보고하고 있으며,심지어는 심각할 경우 생명에 지장을 초래 할수 있다고 보고하고 있다. 따라서 구강악안면 영역에서 모때를 이용해 수술할 경우 이 런 문제를 고려 해 보고자 여 기에 연관된 논문을 고찰해 보았다.

남한 입국 탈북청소년의 수는 2000 년대에 들어 급증하였으나 전체 청소년 수에 비교한다면 여전히 적은 숫자(0.034%)이다. 하지만 탈북청소년의 사회통합 이슈는 앞으로 우리 사회가 지속적으로 마주할 모습이라는 점에서 중요하다. 이 연구는 탈북청소년을 대상으로 사용자 중심의 문제점을 도출하고, 이를 개선하는 서비스를 제안함으로써 탈북청소년과 관련한 사회적 재원을 효율적으로 활용하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 사용자 중심의 디자인 개발 프로세스를 따라 진행되었으며, 연구의 결과는 통합 플랫폼으로 재현되었다.
