문화는 개인이나 사회 구성원의 물질적, 정신적 산물이므로 하나의 이야기를 담고 있다. 문화 공간은 사용자들이 이야기를 체험하고 이야기를 통해 또 다른 이야기를 만드는 스토리텔링의 공간이다. 본 연구의 목적은 문화공간에 적절한 스토리텔링을 발현하기 위한 디자인 구조를 형성하는 것이다. 연구의 방법은 2장에서 문화공간의 개념과 유형 그리고 스토리텔링에 대한 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 공간 스토리텔링의 구조적 해석을 하였다. 3장은 공간의 구성적 이해를 위해 케빈 린치(Kevin Lynch)의 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 4장에서는 2장과 3장의 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 내용적, 구조적 특징에 따라 적절한 공간으로 연출하기 위하여 문화공간의 스토리텔링 형성 분석 틀을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 사용자들이 어떻게 이야기를 이해하는가를 예측할 수 있으며 나아가 공간 요소에 대한 조절을 통해 사용자들이 더욱 효과적인 체험을 할 수 있는 전략을 마련하는 것이다. A cultural space is a place for storytelling in which users experience a story, and through it, create another one. This study aims to form a design structure to develop a story that is appropriate for a cultural space. As the method of research, the study conducts a structural analysis of spatial storytelling in the second chapter, based on the concept and different types of cultural spaces, as well as theoretical considerations related to storytelling. The third chapter contains a theoretical review of Kevin Lynch to form a constructive understanding of space. In the fourth chapter, based on the theoretical reviews in chapter two and chapter three, I will propose a framework to analyze the formation of storytelling within a cultural space, with the aim of creating a space that is suited to its structural and content related features. The implications of the study will be to predict how users understand a story, and furthermore, by adjusting the features of spatial organization, establish a strategy to create a more effective user experience.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of everolimus, an oral mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitor, for the treatment of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) manifestations. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted using an in-house research database with the keywords “tuberous sclerosis AND everolimus.” Twenty patients were treated with everolimus for TSC from 2013 to February 2019. Results: The mean age of the 20 patients was 25.6 years (range, 0 to 57), and the average duration of everolimus treatment was 87.6 weeks (range, 0 to 290). Everolimus was given with a usual daily dosage of 5 to 10 mg (mean, 7.1) or 0.0625 to 0.5 mg for neonates. Twelve patients were prescribed everolimus for more than 1 year for kidney angiomyolipoma (AML). Two of those patients (16.7%) experienced reductions of >50% in tumor size, and four patients (33.3%) experienced reductions of 25% to 50%. The four patients who were prescribed everolimus for subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) had 25% to 50% reductions. Neonates with cardiac rhabdomyoma showed significant tumor reduction with everolimus, but their tumors exhibited rebound size increases after treatment was halted. Of the three patients with intractable seizures, one patient became seizure-free, and two patients had >50% reductions. Overall, everolimus therapy was well tolerated. Conclusion: Everolimus, an mTOR inhibitor, was effective for seizure control and size reduction of kidney AML, SEGA, and cardiac rhabdomyoma tumors in patients with TSC. However, clinicians should also be aware of the adverse event profile of everolimus.

<P>Organic phototransistors have been extensively studied because of their potential applications in electronic devices. In particular, organic-inorganic hybrid materials have attracted significant attention due to the possibility of combining solution processing of organic materials with high photon-to-current conversion efficiency of inorganic materials. In this study, a TIPS pentacene/TiO2 nanocomposite thin-film transistor (TFT) was fabricated as an organic/inorganic hybrid photo-transistor with high responsiveness to light, as compared to that for pristine TIPS pentacene TFT. It was found that the threshold voltage of the pristine TIPS pentacene TFT was shifted with an increase in the drain current under light irradiation. The observed shift was more pronounced for the composite TFT; however, it was also accompanied by a simultaneous decrease in the drain current, which could be explained in terms of the photovoltaic and photoconductive effects. The obtained results are able to characterize the photoresponsive behavior of the produced TIPS pentacene/TiO2 composite material under illumination.</P>
Template-engineered epitaxial BiVO<sub>4</sub> photoanodes for efficient solar water splitting

<▼1><P>The photoelectrochemical properties of template-engineered epitaxial BiVO4 photoanodes have been enhanced approximately 10 times that of bare BiVO4.</P></▼1><▼2><P>Bismuth vanadate (BiVO4) has attracted significant attention as a promising photoanode material for hydrogen production <I>via</I> photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting because of its narrow optical band gap and suitable band edge positions for water oxidation. However, the actual photoactivity of BiVO4 is considerably limited by its poor electron transport and slow water oxidation kinetics. Although several studies have been carried out to improve its photo-efficiency <I>via</I> the enhancement of electron transport and water oxidation kinetics, only a few studies have reported the growth of epitaxial BiVO4 to explore the fundamental properties of BiVO4 for PEC water splitting because extremely flat epitaxial films exhibit poor photo-efficiency because of their low surface-active area. However, studies of epitaxial BiVO4 still have the potential to provide new routes for improving its photo-efficiency. In this study, the growth of epitaxial BiVO4 is investigated using a thin γ-WO3 template layer deposited on a SrTiO3(001) substrate covered by a SrRuO3 (SRO) bottom electrode using pulsed laser deposition. Consequently, at 1.23 V <I>vs.</I> the RHE (reversible hydrogen electrode), the photocurrent density of epitaxial BiVO4 on the γ-WO3 template layer (2.20 mA cm<SUP>−2</SUP>) is approximately 10 times that of bare BiVO4, related to the effective charge transfer by the γ-WO3 intermediate layers and the subsequent increase in the surface-active area of epitaxial BiVO4. These results strongly suggest that epitaxial BiVO4 grown using a template layer can be a cornerstone for the in-depth understanding of the fundamental properties of BiVO4 for PEC water splitting.</P></▼2>
