In this paper. the rectangular dielectric resonant antenna(DRA) with the microstrip slot feed line is analyzed and fabricated. Microstrip slot feed line parameters are calculated and then the microstrip slot feed line is manufactured by FR-4. Also the rectangular DRA having a value of ε_(r) = 36 is fabricated for ISM(Industrial. Scientific, Medical) telecommunication operating in the range of 2.40GHz to 2.4835GHz. The measurement result had return loss of -44dB. It was -10dB lower than simulation's value with -33dB. Resonant frequency was measured at 2.44GHz.

We analyse RF system to send baseband signal and design profiles of the reflector for the shaped Cassegrain antenna according to distributions of power density on the aperture. Profiles of the main reflector and subreflector are designed by the principle of energy conservation and the Snell's law. It was conformed that profiles of the reflector for the shaped Cassegrain antenna of 32m dia. obtained by these methods coincided well with those of VERTEX Co. LTD and the more uniform power density and phase on the aperture were, the better illumination efficiencies of the aperture became.

Odontoblasts are responsible for the formation and maintenance of dentin. They are known to synthesize unique gene products including dentin sialophosphoprotein (DSPP). Another unique genes of the cells remain unclear. OD314 was isolated from the odontoblasts/pulp cells of rats and partially characterized as an odonto-blast-enriched gene (Dey et al., 2001). This study aimed to elucidate the biological function of OD314, relating to odontoblast differentiation and dentinogenesis. After determining the open reading frame (ORF) of OD314 by transient transfection analysis using green fluorescent protein (GFP) expression vector, mRNA in-situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry, reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and western analysis were performed. The results were as follows: 1. In in-situ hybridization, OD314 mRNAs were expressed in odontoblasts of developing coronal and root pulp. 2, OD314 was a novel protein encoding 154 amino acids, and the protein was mainly expressed in cyto-plasm by transient transfection analysis. 3. Mineralized nodules were associated with multilayer cell nodules in the culture of human dental pulp cells and first detected from day 21 using alizarin-red S staining. 4. In RT-PCR analysis, OD314, osteocalcin (OC) and DSPP strongly expressed throughout 28 days of culture. Whereas, osteonectin (ON) mRNA expression stayed low up to day 14, and then gradually decreased from day 21. 5. Western blots showed an approximately 17 kDa band. OD314 protein was expressed from the start of culture and then increased greatly from day 21. In conclusion, OD314 is considered as an odontoblast-enriched gene and may play important roles in odontoblast differentiation and dentin mineralization.

기저대역(baseband)신호를 송신하기 위한 RF시스템과 지구국용 위성통신 안테나를 해석하고 어퍼춰 전력밀도분포에 따른 최적곡면 캐써그레인 안테나의 반사판을 설계한다. 또한 에너지보존 법칙과 Snell의 법칙으로 포물면인 주반사판과 쌍곡면인 부반사판을 설계한다. 이 연구방법으로 직경 32m 크기의 반사판을 설계한 결과는 VERTEX사의 반사판 프로화일과 잘 일치하였다. This is a case report of difficult eruption of succeeding permanent tooth by periapical inflammation of primary tooth. 12-year-8-month-old girl who had been treated by pulpotomy of lower right second primary molar about 4 years ago was recalled for prolonged retention of it. Radiographs showed periapical inflammation of lower right second primary molar and horizontal buccal impaction of succeeding permanent tooth. Right second premolar seemed impossible to erupt so surgical extraction of it was done with removal of lower right second primary molar and resin space maintainer was manipulated for prevention of space closure and elongation of opposing tooth.

The existing chatting service have not security policy like as electronic commerce. During chatting, the private informations(credit card number, account number, password etc.) are exposed to network intrusion. So, we need the encryption to protect data from invasion. There is a Safe Talk, a chatting program for encrypted chatting service. This chatting program use ElGamal public key algorithm to generate and exchange session-key using DES algorithm. And we discuss this program for evaluating concealed network data exchange.

Intrusion detection systems based on rules are not efficient for mutated attacks, because they need additional rules (or the variations. In this paper. we propose an intrusion detection system using the time delay neural network. Packets on the network can be considered as gray images of which pixels represent bytes of them. Using this continuous packet images, we construct a neural network classifier that discriminates between normal and abnormal packet flows. The system deals well with various mutated attacks, as well as well known attacks.

This paper deals with designing the mobile station power amplifier of IMT-2000 using analog predistortion method. The power amplifier made up of 3-stage class-AB amplifiers in cascade. By choosing the final stage as the balanced structure. the output linearity is enhanced. The balanced structure of amplifier is composed of the Wilkinson power divider and combiner. Therefore. to compensate for the linearity of the power amplifier. pre-distorter circuit is inserted in front of 3-stage amplifier. The pre-distorter is implemented using parallel Schotty diode. The optimized linear power amplifier is cornposed of these pre-distorter and 3-stage power amplifier.
