Let F be a non-trivial non-Archimedian field. The sequence spaces $\Gamma\;(F)\;and\;{\Gamma}^{\ast}(F)$ were defined and studied by Soma-sundaram[4], where these spaces denote the spaces of entire and analytic sequences defined over F, respectively. In 1997, these spaces were generalized by Mursaleen and Qamaruddin[1] by considering an arbitrary sequence $U\;=\;(U_k),\;U_k\;{\neq}\;0 \;(\;k\;=\;1,2,3,{\cdots})$. They characterized some classes of infinite matrices considering these new classes of sequences. In this paper, we further generalize the above mentioned spaces and define the spaces $\Gamma(u,\;F,\;{\Delta}),\;{\Gamma}^{\ast}(u,\;F,\;{\Delta}),\;l_p(u,\;F,\;{\Delta})$), and $b_v(u,\;F,\;{\Delta}$). We also study some matrix transformations on these new spaces.
Pulau Ling: an important seabird hotspot on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia
Abdulmaula Hamza,Cheeho Wong,Amirudin Ahmad 국립중앙과학관 2016 Journal of Asia-Pacific Biodiversity Vol.9 No.4
Pulau Ling is a small rocky island located to the south of Pulau Redang, forming with other southeast small islands, the Redang Archipelago, in the state of Terengganu, Malaysia. The island was highlighted in the early 1950s as an important seabird site, although little was then known on the status of seabirds on the island. Field visits were made between May 2015 and September 2015 to assess the importance of this small island to seabird species. Four tern species were identified: two of them, black-naped tern Sterna sumatrana and bridled tern Onychoprion anaethetus, were found to breed there, while the other two species, great crested tern Thalasseus bergii and roseate tern Sterna dougallii were found to use the island as a stopover site without any evidence of breeding. Furthermore, the Pacific Eastern Reef egret Egretta sacra (the black morph), was also found to breed on the island. Other species encountered included white-bellied sea eagle Haliaeetus leucogaster (recorded once in June 2015, soaring over the island). These preliminary data show the importance of such small rocky outcrops for tropical breeding and migrating seabirds, where food availability and lack of disturbance may be the two main drivers for diversity and survival.
Secure Surveillance Framework for IoT Systems Using Probabilistic Image Encryption
Muhammad, Khan,Hamza, Rafik,Ahmad, Jamil,Lloret, Jaime,Wang, Haoxiang,Baik, Sung Wook IEEE 2018 IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL INFORMATICS - Vol.14 No.8

This paper proposes a secure surveillance framework for Internet of things (IoT) systems by intelligent integration of video summarization and image encryption. First, an efficient video summarization method is used to extract the informative frames using the processing capabilities of visual sensors. When an event is detected from keyframes, an alert is sent to the concerned authority autonomously. As the final decision about an event mainly depends on the extracted keyframes, their modification during transmission by attackers can result in severe losses. To tackle this issue, we propose a fast probabilistic and lightweight algorithm for the encryption of keyframes prior to transmission, considering the memory and processing requirements of constrained devices that increase its suitability for IoT systems. Our experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of robustness, execution time, and security compared to other image encryption algorithms. Furthermore, our framework can reduce the bandwidth, storage, transmission cost, and the time required for analysts to browse large volumes of surveillance data and make decisions about abnormal events, such as suspicious activity detection and fire detection in surveillance applications.

This paper presents the development and experimental verifi cation of the mathematical model of wind turbine and Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) using the current control and voltage estimation method between the DC link. The rotor of the induction generator (IG) is rotated with the wind turbine at a specifi c speed. The DFIG is directly coupled with a grid station and the synchronization between DFIG and the grid station is controlled by setting two converters: Machine Side Converter (MSC) implemented with the rotor side and Grid Side Converter (GSC) implemented with the grid. PI controllers have been utilized in the control loops and the parametric range is extracted to maximize the mechanical power transferred to the IG rotor. The model is tested under three conditions DFIG running at super synchronous speed, synchronous speed, and under synchronous speed using MATLAB Simulink. In the end, the same model is also tested through a series of experiments using lab modules. The results show that the proposed model is much simplifi ed and accurate as compared to previous versions available in the literature.
Research on steady characteristics of human-robot system for preventing elderly falls during walking
Xiao Dong Zhang,Xiaoqi Mu,Liangliang Li,Ahmad Bala Alhassan,Khaled Kadry Hamza 대한기계학회 2022 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.36 No.9
Due to the ever-increasing demand of caregivers and the high cost of nursing the elderly, researchers have been developing the elderly assistant robots (EARs) for assisting the elderly. To improve the safety of the elderly during walking, the steady characteristics of the EAR are discussed for preventing elderly falls during walking in this paper. Initially, the walking elderly was modeled as an inverted pendulum, and the steadiness region of the human and the general elderly fall conditions were obtained. The dynamics of the human-robot system were derived for preventing the general elderly falls. Also, the steadiness of the human and the robot were analyzed, respectively. Finally, experiments were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the models. The results demonstrated that the system met the requirements of steadiness, and hence, the designed robot could prevent elderly fall during walking. Thus, this study provides a theoretical basis for the effective control and the practical application of the EARs.
Automatic Malware Detection with Machine Learning Algorithms in a Smart Office Environment
Minsoo Yeo,Ilsub Bang,Donghyun Kim,Abbas Ahmad,Hamza Baqa,Jaeseung Song,Cheolsoo Park 대한전자공학회 2018 IEIE Transactions on Smart Processing & Computing Vol.7 No.4
The threat of malware in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment is increasing due to a lack of detectors. This paper proposes a method to predict the intrusion of malware using state-of-the- art machine learning algorithms that can detect malware faster and more accurately, compared with the existing methods (that is, payload, port-based, and statistical methods). A smart office environment was implemented to capture the flow of packet datasets, where malware and normal packets were captured, and 11 features were extracted from them. Four machine learning algorithms (random forest, a support vector machine, AdaBoost, and a Gaussian mixture model-based naïve Bayes classifier) were investigated to implement the automatic malware monitoring system. Random forest and AdaBoost could separate the malware and normal flows perfectly, due to their ensemble structures, which could classify unbalanced and noisy datasets.

Painful neuropathy that can cause hyperalgesia and allodynia is the most common and debilitating complication of diabetes. Both hyperglycemia and oxidative stress clearly play a key role in the progression of diabetic neuropathy. The search for new natural products with combined anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, hypoglycemic and antinociceptive properties is important in the treatment of this disease. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the anti-hypernoceptive effect of the methanolic extract of Boswellia dalzielii in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice. Thus, the mice were injected with 200 mg/kg of streptozotocin to produce hyperglycemia. Von Frey filaments, hotplate, acetone and formalin tests were used to evaluate anti-nociceptive activity. Assays of catalase, SOD, MDA and NO determined the antioxidant properties. When administered, methanolic extract of Boswellia dalzielii (250 and 500 mg/kg, p.o.) significantly reduced licking/biting behavior during the first and second phase of the formalin test in a dose-dependent manner. Moreover, this extract significantly improved the glycemia of diabetic mice, it also significantly decreased the levels of TNF alpha, IL-1 beta in the serum and the sciatic nerve, decreased the levels of MDA and NO, and then increased the activity of SOD and catalase enzymes. Our results suggest that methanolic extract of Boswellia dalzielii can be a useful therapeutic agent, presumably for both prevention and reversal of pathophysiologic pain. This effect seems to imply hyperglycemic and antioxidant properties of this plant.
