<P>The over-stoichiometric Li<SUB>1+x</SUB>CoO<SUB>2</SUB> (x = 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3) cathode materials were synthesized from an aqueous solution of lithium nitrate (LiNO<SUB>3</SUB>) as an excess lithium precursor and their effects on the electrochemical properties of all-solid-state lithium batteries employing Li<SUB>2</SUB>S-P<SUB>2</SUB>S<SUB>5</SUB> glass-ceramics solid electrolytes are investigated. A combination of X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy reveals that the excess lithium forms a residual Li<SUB>2</SUB>CO<SUB>3</SUB> layer on the surface of as-prepared Li<SUB>1+x</SUB>CoO<SUB>2</SUB> particles during the synthesis process. While regarded as an impurity phase in lithium battery systems using liquid electrolytes due to its detrimental effects on electrochemical performance, the Li<SUB>2</SUB>CO<SUB>3</SUB> formed on the surface of the over-stoichiometric Li<SUB>1+x</SUB>CoO<SUB>2</SUB> powders is identified in all-solid-state lithium battery systems using sulfide solid electrolytes to act as an effective coating material to suppress the interfacial side reactions despite its low ionic and electronic conductivity.</P>
A Tunable Internal Antenna With an Epsilon Negative Zeroth Order Resonator for DVB-H Service

<P>A tunable internal antenna with an epsilon negative zeroth order resonator (ENG-ZOR) for digital video broadcasting-handheld service is proposed in this paper. The antenna consists of two helical radiators, an ENG ZOR with two inductors and a variable capacitor to adjust the resonant frequency. The resonant frequency of the designed antenna can be swept from 474-702 MHz by adjusting the capacitance of the variable capacitor by controlling the DC bias voltage. The proposed antenna has a very compact size of 40 mm times 5 mm times 5 mm.</P>
Multi-band Internal antenna for DVB-H and GSM services

We propose a multi-band internal antenna for the DVB-H and the GSM services. The proposed antenna consists of a tunable PIFA for the DVB-H service and a dual band folded monopole for the GSM 900 and the DCS 1800. The resonant frequencies of the designed antenna are independently adjusted. It can be used for a complex mobile set for a broadcasting service.

As the interest on the air pollution is gradually rising up at home and abroad, automotive and fuel researchers have been working on the exhaust emission reduction from vehicles through a lot of approaches, which consist of new engine design, innovative after-treatment systems, using clean fuels and fuel quality improvement. However, a study that the fuel quality affect on exhaust emission from vehicle. FT-IR spectroscopy, useful technology for simultaneous and continuous measurement of the various components of the automotive exhaust gas, is utilized to a few unregulated exhaust emissions measurement of the irregular gasoline fuel including the regulated exhaust emissions. This research shows that the irregular gasoline fuel had some problem that cause of ambient pollution, power decreasing, fallen to safety and trouble of engine. Also, based on these problem, this paper discusses the influence of gasoline quality on automotive exhaust emissions.
