This paper presents two different types of supervised classifiers such as support vector machine (SVM) and spectral angle mapper (SAM). The Compact Airborne Spectrographic Imager (CASI) high resolution aerial image was classified with the above two classifier. The image was classified into eight land use /land cover classes. Accuracy assessment and Kappa statistics were estimated for SVM and SAM separately. The overall classification accuracy and Kappa statistics value of the SAM were 69.0% and 0.62 respectively, which were higher than those of SVM (62.5%, 0.54).

<P>Streptomyces coelicolor A3(2) sco5931 gene was predicted to encode a putative xylanase A, a 477 amino acid protein belonging to glycoside hydrolase family 10. The entire sco5931 coding region was cloned and overexpressed in Streptomyces lividans TK24. Mature SCO5931 protein comprising 436 amino acids (47 kDa) was purified by single-step gel filtration chromatography from culture broth after ammonium sulfate precipitation, with 25.8-fold purification and yield of 30.6 %. The purified protein displayed a pronounced activity toward beechwood xylan as a substrate, but no activity was detected toward carboxymethylcellulose, Avicel, galactan, barley beta-glucan, and xyloglucan, demonstrating that SCO5931 is a substrate-specific xylanase. Optimal xylanase activity was observed at 60 A degrees C and pH 6.0. The addition of metal ions or EDTA did not affect the xylanase activity, while 4 mM MnCl2 severely inhibited the enzyme, reducing its activity by 87 %. Kinetic parameters of SCO5931 toward beechwood xylan were determined (K (m) = 0.24 mg/mL, V (max) = 6.86 mu M/min). Thin layer chromatography and mass spectrometry analyses of the beechwood xylan SCO5931 hydrolysis products were conducted. Product masses corresponded to sodium adducts of xylobiose (m/z 305.24) and xylopentaose (m/z 701.59), indicating that SCO5931 specifically cleaves the beta-1,4 linkage of xylan to yield xylobiose and xylopentaose.</P>
Open Standard Based 3D Urban Visualization and Video Fusion

This research demonstrates a 3D virtual visualization of urban environment and video fusion for effective damage prevention and surveillance system using open standard. We present the visualization and interaction simulation method to increase the situational awareness and optimize the realization of environmental monitoring through the CCTV video and 3D virtual environment. New camera prototype was designed based on the camera frustum view model to project recorded video prospectively onto the virtual 3D environment. The demonstration was developed by the X3D, which is royalty-free open standard and run-time architecture, and it offers abilities to represent, control and share 3D spatial information via the internet browsers.

Agent-based epidemic models attempt to simulate disease transmission and associated control measures. Further statistical analysis of simulation result is necessary for greater understanding of the disease spatial diffusion. This study proposes the integration of modeling and result analysis as a single process by the adoption of the NetLogo and the R software. In this study, we performed spatially explicit agent-based epidemiological modeling using RNetLogo package which is an integration tool of NetLogo in R. The model is implemented using foot-and-mouth-disease(FMD) outbreak in South Korea as a case study. Analysis of simulation results can help to improve comprehension of disease spread dynamics and to take better steps towards the prevention and control of a FMD outbreak.

Communication between ECUs (Electronic Control Units) in agricultural machineries tends to use IS011783 widely, that is PGN (Parameter Group Number) based communication protocol lays on CAN protocol by altering its identifier part. Messages in line are transferred and received between ECUs according to ISO11783 standard. This paper discusses about design of wireless monitoring system. We used an ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller embedded development board and marvel8686 wireless module. The wireless ISOBUS monitoring system, attached to communication line, reads messages, interpret them, and display them on the screen in easily comprehendible form. It can be used to generate messages and monitor the traffic on physical bus systems. The monitoring system connected to ECUs, monitor and simulate real traffic of communication and functionality of the ECUs. In order to support our work, we have implemented the monitoring tool. The development consists of two parts: GUI of the application and firmware level programming. Hence the monitoring system is attached to the communication line and equipped by Wi-Fi module; farmer/dispatcher in a farm monitors all messages in communication line on personal computer and smart device.

<P>In this paper, we propose hardware and software implementation scheme for developing a first version of virtual terminal based on CAN. We design and develop a layered device driver for CAN module hardware MCP2515. The layered driver is composed of CAN driver as a top layer driver and SPI device driver as a bottom layer driver. From the results of application program developed based on the above mentioned device driver, we can see that this hardware and software scheme will be applicable to developing the virtual terminal for agricultural machines such tractor and combine etc.</P>
Measuring Algorithm for Tilt Angle of Tetrahedron Balancing Based on Accelerometers
Khurelbaatar.Ts,Enkhbaatar.T,Luubaatar.B,Woonchul Ham 제어로봇시스템학회 2009 제어로봇시스템학회 합동학술대회 논문집 Vol.2009 No.12
In this paper, we propose the optimal position of the acceleration sensor in a Tetrahedron Balancing for the best performance of its tilt angle measuring functioning by using accelerometers. We also introduce the estimation algorithm under the assumption that the disturbance of the accelerometer sensor is modeled as a Gaussian normal distributed random variable. Sensitivity function is selected as a performance index for the calculating the optimal position of the sensor. From the computer simulation results, we can see that the proposed algorithm can be applicable to the real system.
