Airports have formed air cargo value chain by focusing on airlines and freighters to provide relevant services. However, the rise of air cargo shipping through belly space of passengers and the emergence of e-commerce freight bring up necessity of new airport infrastructure and process to satisfy the needs from direct suppliers and consumers in air cargo market. This study shows airport as an active facilitator by presenting specific airport infrastructures and processes that reflect the changes in the external environment of air cargo transportation at Incheon Airport and the global air cargo market trends. In addition, this suggests sustainable airport to expand air cargo value chain and increase involvement in the global value chain through the new air cargo infrastructure.

As the Covid-19 virus is continued, non-face-to-face is becoming commonplace and the importance of last-mile logistics delivery is growing. The purpose of this study is to derive promising technologies in the field of last mile logistics through patent analysis and to develop technology strategies based on them. From 1974 to 2020, a total of 9,894 patent information was extracted from patents registered in Korea, China, the United States, and Europe, and the final 5,609 patent data were analyzed through the valid patent screening process. In the analysis process, the latent dirichlet allocation (LDA) was applied and the time series analysis selected groups with high potential for future development. Afterwards, GTM (Generative Topographic Mapping) was applied to identify promising technologies through blank technologies. Last mile related technologies were “Automated operation technologies using robots”, “Supports related to classification and delivery”, “Low cost classification and transport optimization technologies”, “Monitoring technologies for safe delivery and management” and “Smart classification and storage operation technologies”. The technology fields presented in this study can be used to establish technology strategies to preempt companies’ market competitiveness and contribute to policy-making to foster and support promising areas of the government.

The airport processes are restricted by some limits of performance objects as size of airport, ability of human resources, capacity of facilities and operational rules. These limitations make passenger handling difficult when passenger numbers increase. In order to solve this problem, we modeled the airport process and analyzed departure passenger arrival, scheduled security manpower under specific customer service level maintenance with mixed integer programming and validate the efficiency with simulation with adapting smart airport framework. We concluded that the airport management with information techniques can reduce waiting time within security and immigration process.
대차일관 시스템을 통한 회수용 포장재 사용과 물류비 절감에 관한 연구

중국의 외국 쓰레기 수입관리 방안 및 재활용품 수입금지 발표 등으로 국내외 일회용 포장 용기의 처리 등 환경문제가 대두되고 있다. 국내환경단체와 지자체는 사용 후 포장 용기 처리비용을 생산자가 부담할 것을 요구 등으로 국내외 환경 관련 규제는 물류비용 중 포장부문이 차지하는 비중을 높아지게 하여 물류비용의 증가 요소가 되므로 이에 대한 대처방안이 시급한 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 일회용 포장 용기를 적용한 팔레트 적재 대신 반복적 재사용이 가능한 포장 용기 적용 대차일관 시스템을 제시하여 포장비용 감소와 환경문제를 극복할 수 있는 진전된 물류 합리화 모형을 개발하였다. 물류 합리화 모형개발은 수송비용, 포장 용기 적용비용 및 해체된 포장 용기의 회수 및 처리비용의 3가지 요소를 적용하였으며 본 연구에서 제시하고 있는 재사용 포장 용기 적용 대차일관 물류 시스템의 수치 적용 및 비교·분석을 통하여 본 연구의 우수성을 입증하였다. Chinese plans to manage the import of overseas wastes and to ban the import of recyclable materials enlighten environmental issues home and abroad including the usage of disposable containers. Environment groups and local governments in the Republic of Korea ask producers to pay for the disposal of the containers after use. Environment-related regulations home and abroad heighten the importance of packaging in logistics costs and thus cause an increase in logistics costs and countermeasures are much needed now. Trying to solve these problems this study proposed a container-applied deck truck unit load system whose repetitive reuse would be possible to replace the old disposable container-applied pallet load system and developed an analytic model for the rationalization of logistics to reduce container costs and answer environmental issues. The model for the rationalization of logistics applied three elements e.g., the costs of transportation and container applications the recovery of dismantled containers and the disposal costs. This study compared and analyzed the numbers of the reusable container-applied unit load system and demonstrating its research excellence.
