A decision support system is introduced for the efficient operation of port container terminals. It consists of ship planning subsystem, yard planning subsystem, resource management subsystem, real-time control subsystem, and simulation subsystem. The system is intended to support the planning process of the planners and the operation process of the administrators in the container terminals. It is assumed that the transfer crances and the yard tractor/trailers are used to handle containers in the marshaling yard. The system is explained in terms of the functions of each subsystem and the data flows among various subsystems.

<P>To improve radiation therapy, the development of effective radiosensitizer is required. Fifty percent inhibitory concentration (IC50) values of 3',4',5',7'???tetrahydroxyflavone (luteolin) against NCI???H460 and ???H1299 non???small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells were determined using 3???(4,5???dimethylthiazol???2???yl)???2,5???diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assays. Radiosensitizing activity was assessed in vitro by treating cells with luteolin prior to irradiation of 관???ionizing radiation (IR), and performing cell count and clonogenic assays. Cell signaling pathways involved in the radiosensitizing effects of luteolin were examined using propidium iodide (PI) uptake, reactive oxygen species (ROS) detection and immunoblot assays, with or without specific chemical inhibitors. Apoptotic cell death was confirmed by PI uptake and immunoblot assays. In vivo radiosensitizing activity was tested using an NCI???H460 cell xenograft model in nude mice. Tumor size was measured and apoptosis was determined with terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay in animals in four treatment groups: mock???treated control, luteolin only, IR only, and luteolin plus IR. Treatment with luteolin or IR induced NSCLC cell death in vitro, but the combination of luteolin pre???treatment and IR was more effective than either agent alone, yielding dose enhancement ratios (DERs) of 1.22 and 1.35 for NCI???H460 and ???H1299 cells, respectively. Combined treatment with luteolin and IR enhanced apoptotic cell death in association with downregulation of B???cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl???2) and activation of caspase???3, ???8, and ???9; it also induced phosphorylation of p38 mitogen???activated protein kinase (MAPK) and ROS accumulation. Inhibition of p38 MAPK decreased ROS production, and inhibition of either p38 MAPK or ROS production attenuated apoptotic cell death and activation of caspase???8 and ???9. In a xenograft model, tumor growth was delayed by 21.8 days in the luteolin/IR combination group compared with controls, and apoptotic cell death was increased. The enhancement factor of the luteolin and IR combination was 1.83. Collectively, these findings indicate that luteolin acts as a radiosensitizer by enhancing apoptotic cell death through activation of a p38/ROS/caspase cascade.</P>

This paper describes the results of analysis, syntheses and evaluation of tetra-urea greases. Tetra-urea greases were prepared by reaction of various isocyanate and various amines with base oil at 80-100℃. The structures and chemical properties of synthesized urea greases were discussed. The performance properties of urea greases included dropping point, penetration, and wear stability.
The diagnostic value of F-18 FDG PET/CT findings in nonepithelial ovarian cancer

To evaluate the diagnostic value of F-18 2-fluoro-2-deoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography combined with computed tomography (PET/CT) in nonepithelial ovarian cancer. A retrospective chart review of 33 patients who were diagnosed nonepithelial ovarian cancer including granulose cell tumor (GCT, n=10), dysgerminoma (DG, n=4), mixed germ cell tumor (MGCT, n=3), Sertoli-Leydig cell tumor (SLCT, n=2), immature teratoma (IT, n=9) and yolk sac tumor (YST, n=5) and had preoperative PET/CT for diagnosis from January 2005 to December 2011 at our institution was conducted. We compared ratio (SUV(standard uptake value) max/liverSUV) and SUVmax according to diagnosis. And correlation between SUVmax, ratio(SUVmax/liverSUV) and tumor size, CA 125 level and stage was evaluated respectively. F-18 FDG PET/CT findings of nonepithelial ovarian cancer had no significant findings because of various cystic portion and solid portion in the image by and large. But the ratio (SUVmax/liverSUV) (9.13±6.10) and the SUVmax (14.19±8.59) in mixed germ cell tumor had significant differences(P value=0.003, 0.002) compared with other nonepithelial ovarian cancer (GCT (1.61±0.50, 2.90±1.13), DG (3.98±7.67, 7.86±5.16), SLCT (2.36±1.05, 4.65±1.77), IT(3.81±2.07, 7.77±4.20), YST(3.78±1.35, 7.22±1.50)). There was positive linear correlation between CA 125 (205.33±242.38) and SUVmax (P value=0.003), ratio (P value=0.002). And there was no significant correlation between SUVmax, ratio and tumor size (247.36±235.79(cm2)) and stage (3.40±3.00) respectively. F-18 FDG PET/CT might have a role in discriminating nonepithelial ovarian cancer especially mixed germ cell tumor. Small number of patients is limitation of this study. Therefore further study is needed to assess the diagnostic value of F-18 FDG PET/CT in nonepithelial ovarian cancer.

Through in vitro screening for biocontrol agents (BCAs) against Streptomyces scabiei causing potato (Solanum tuberosum) common scab, 19 streptomycete and 17 fungal isolates with antagonistic activity were selected as BCA candidates. For the selection of BCA candidates which are highly resistant to 10 kinds of antibiotics or pesticides, chemical susceptibility testing was initially performed in vitro. A remarkable degree of variation in susceptibility to antibiotics or pesticides was observed among the isolates tested. Streptomycete A020645 isolate was highly resistant to all the tested chemicals except neomycin up to 5,000 ppm. On the other hand, out of 36 antagonistic microbes subjected to in vivo pot tests using cultivar Daejima, four streptomycete isolates namely, A020645, A010321, A010564, and A020973, showed high antagonistic activity with >60% and 55% control value, respectively, and high chemical resistance to 10 kinds of chemicals. Therefore, these isolates were selected as potential BCAs for the control of potato common scab.
3-D Laser Measurement using Mode Image Segmentation Method

In this paper, the 3-D measurement method of moving object with a laser and one camera system for image processing method is presented.<br/> The method of segmentation image in conventional method, the error are generated by the threshold values.<br/> In this paper, to improve these problem for segmentation image, the calculation of weighting factor using brightness distribution by histogram of stored images are proposed.<br/> Therefore the image erosion and spread are improved, the correct and reliable informations can be measured.<br/> In this paper, the system of 3-D extracting information using the proposed algorithm can be applied to manufactory automation, building automation, security guard system, and detecting information system for all of the industry areas.
Determinants of Private Label’s Purchase Intention in the Korean Market

Purpose: In this study we investigate the determinants of private label (PL) purchase intention in South Korea. Private labels are becoming more and more popular in America and European countries. However, there are not enough studies focusing on PL within the South Korean market. Therefore, the present study has been written in order to understand more about consumers’ purchase intention of store brand in the South Korean market. Many characteristics and aspects of consumers and brand’s behavior have been reviewed in order to bring relevant results. Research design, data and methodology: Data was collected using a quantitative survey of Korea retail store’s consumer. We analyzed using multiple regression method to test the hypothesis. We analyzed how and why do consumers have a strong intention to purchase the PL. Results: a) Trust towards retailer influences the PL purchase intention of customers; b) brand awareness has an impact on the PL purchase intention of customers; c) perceived quality has an impact on the PL purchase intention; d) Price-quality relationship influences on the PL purchase intention. However, there is no direct effect of some of the factors of determinant. Conclusion: For private label products in the Korean market, trust in sellers and brand awareness influences the purchase of PL products.
