GDC20($Ce_{0.8}Gd_{0.2}O_{1.9}$) powder was synthesized from Ce and Gd nitrate solutions using ammonium carbonate($(NH_4)_2CO_3$) as a precipitant. Attrition-milling of the powder, which had been calcined at $700^{\circ}C$ for 4 h, decreased an average particle size of 2.2 ${\mu}m$ to 0.5 ${\mu}m$. The milled powder consisted of nano-sized spherical primary particles. Due to the excellent sinterability of the powder, sintering of the powder compacts for 4 h showed relative densities of 80% at 1000 $^{\circ}C$ and 96.5% at $1200^{\circ}C$, respectively. Densification was found to almost complete at $1300^{\circ}C$, resulting in a dense and homogeneous microstructure with a relative density of 99.5%. The grains of ~0.2 ${\mu}m$ in size at $1200^{\circ}C$ grew to ~1 ${\mu}m$ in size at $1300^{\circ}C$ as a result of a rapid grain growth.
수소 연료전지의 통합관리를 위한 지능형 BoP의 개념 설계

수소는 에너지 밀도가 높고 환경오염물질 배출이 없는 친환경 연료로 기존에너지원의 대체로 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 특히 부산물로 생산되는 물, 열 등은 스마트 팜 등 다른 영역에 활용할 수 있어서 전기 생산 이외에 부가가치가 높은 편이다. 수소 연료전지는 수소와 산소를 반응시켜서 전기와 열을 생산하는 장치로 연료전지 스택과 주변에 있는 동력시스템 패키지를 구성하는 보조장치인 BoP(Balance of Plant) 로 구성된다. BoP는 전력을 효율적으로 생산할 수 있도록 열관리, 물관리, 공기공급관리 등을 한다. 본 논문은 수소 연료전지의 효율적인 관리를 위한 지능형 BoP의 개념을 설계하였다.

Citrate gel was prepared by drying a solution that Y and Al nitrates had been dissolved in a molar ratio of Y:Al=3:5 in citric acid solution. The gel was found to completely decompose at ∼500℃. Since the citrate function group made the chemical composition of the particles relatively homogeneous, crystallization occurred at 800℃ resulting in YAG phase and a small amount of metastable YAH. However, after calcination at 900℃ for 4 hr, well-crystallized single phase YAH powder could be obtained.
Metagonimiasis in Yeongdeok Area, Kyungpook Province, Korea

慶北 盈德郡의 五十川流域에서 횡천흡충의 疫學的調査를 978年 6月부터 1979年 7月까지 施行하였다. 五十川에서 3個處의 다슬기 積息處를 찾아 볼 수 있었고 이들 積息處에서의 다슬기의 分布密度는 심히 낮았으며 횡천흡충 有尾幼 의 檢出率은 1.9%였다. 銀魚 146마리에서 모두 횡천흡충의 피낭유충을 찾아 볼 수 있었으며 銀魚 한 마리당 본유충 數의 平均値는 2,350個였다. 國民學校 學童 478名에서의 횡천흡충의 感染率은 18.8%였고 男兒의 感染率은 18.5%, 女兒의 그 率은 19.2%로 兩者間에 有意的 差를 認定할 수 없었으며(t<2), 8.6%의 學童을 除外한 나머지 全學童은 輕感染者였다. 五十川에 다슬기의 棲息과 많은 銀魚의 分布 및 國民學校 學童들에서의 횡천흡충의 높은 가染率은 五十川流域이 횡천흡충의 浸潤地인 同時에 횡천흡충증을 擴散시킬 可能性이 있음을 나타내었다. An epidemiological survey for Metagonimus yokogawai conducted from June, 1978 to July, 1979, disclosed that in the river Oseep running through Yeongdeok county, Kyungpook Province, three habitats of Semisulcospira snails were found. The snail populations in the habitats were very low, and the cercarial rate of the fluke in 688 snails was 1.9 per cent. A total of 148 Plecoglossus altivelis, the sweetfish, were examined for the presence of the metacercaria of Metagonimus yokogawai. All the fish were infected and the average number of encysted larvae per sweetfish was 2,390. The prevalence of Metagonimus yokogawai among the school children in Yeongdeok county was high. The infection rate the fluke in 478 children was found to be 18.8 per cent. The rate for Metagonimus yokogawai in boys and girls was 18.5 and 19.2 per cent, respecti vely. This difference was not statistically significant (t<2). Most children tested were infected lightly, and only 8.6 per cent of the children showed heavy infection. The presence of Semisulcospira snails and the abundance of sweetfish in the river Oseep and the high infection rates for Metagonimus yokogawai in the children were possible features in dedermining the foci and influencing spread of metagonimiasis.

충청북도 하계 유년주일학교 아동들에 대한 요충 감염상을 추정하기 위해 Graham씨 scotch tape-swab 변법으로 1회 검사하였다. 아동 858명중 유병률은 41.7%였고 이 가운데서 농촌아동 389명의 유병률은 44.5%였는데 비해 도시아동 268명에서는 39.9%로써 양자간에 유의적 차를 인정할 수 있었다. 남아와 여아에서의 요충 감염률의 차는 인정할 수 없었으나 1970년의 감염률에 비해 1974년도에서는 증가되어 있었다. Eight hundred and fifty-eight children were examined for Enterobius vermicularis. A modified Graham's scotch tape method was employed. All were examined once. The Prevalence among 858 children was 41.7 per cent. The prevalence rate for the worm among 389 rural children was 44.5 per cent; that of 268 urban children was 39.9 per cent. This difference was statistically significant. There was no difference in infection rate with regard to sex. A little increase in the infeciton rate occurred between 1970 and 1974.
