스타 토폴로지에서 다중경로정보를 이용한 효율적 요약기법

We aggregate multi-links information between boundary nodes using the line segment scheme that aggregates topology information within PG referring bandwidth and delay parameter in this paper. The proposed scheme search multi-links efficiently using the depth priority method based on hop count instead of searching all links. To do this, we propose a modified line segment algorithm using two line segment method that represents two points which consist of delay-bandwidth pair to reduce topology information and provide a flexibility to the multiple-links aggregation. And we apply it to current star topology aggregation. To evaluate performance of the proposed scheme, we compare/analyze the current method with the proposed scheme with respect to call success rate, access time and crankback rate. Through the simulation result analysis, the proposed star topology aggregation scheme presents the better performance than existing scheme.

The Guaranteed Frame Rate(GFR) service has been designed to accomodate non-real-time applications, such as TCP/IP based traffic in ATM networks. The GFR service not only guarantees a minimum throughput at the frame level, but also supports a fair share of available resources. In this paper, we propose a cell control algorithm which can improve the fairness and the throughput through the traffic control in GFR service. For the evaluation of a proposed scheme, we compare the proposed scheme with the existing scheme in the fairness and the throughput. Simulation results that the proposed scheme can improve the fairness and throughput than the existing scheme.
Dynamic M-ary QT algorithm for RFID system

Most important technical issue in radio frequency identification (RFID) is to correctly and quickly recognize a number of tag IDs in the reader’s communication range. Unlike the probabilistic RFID tag recognition schemes, a query tree(QT) based protocol guarantees to identify all the tags, where the distribution of tag IDs is assumed to be uniform. In this paper, we proposed an dynamic M-ary QT protocol, which effectively reduces unnecessary query-response cycles by varying ‘m’-bit recognition method. From the simulation results, the proposed scheme significantly outperforms traditional M-ary QT schemes in terms of efficiency and communications overhead, identification time.

Further, an interrogator should be able to identify thenumber of tags in the reading range in a short time. Dynamic M-ary QT Algorithm to Improve the Performance of RFID Tag Identification

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is the wireless non-contact use of radio- frequency electromagnetic fields to transfer data, for the purposes of automatically identifying and tracking tags attached to objects. Most important technical issue in radio frequency identification (RFID) is to correctly and quickly recognize a number of tag IDs in the reader’s communication range. At present, a reasonable solution is the introduction of M-ary QT(Query Tree) to reduce the collision time slots and additional query is used to decrease idle timeslots. In this paper, we proposed a dynamic M-ary QT protocol, which effectively reduces unnecessary query-response cycles by varying ‘m’-bit recognition method. By using Manchester code, we can detect the location of collided bits due to the characteristic of Manchester code. We proposed enhanced tag identification algorithm that utilize feature of Manchester coding to increase efficiency of Tag identification not only in RF- ID reader but also in RF-ID tags. From the simulation results, the proposed scheme significantly outperforms traditional M-ary QT schemes in terms of efficiency and communications overhead, identification time.
A Dynamic Queue Management for Network Coding in Mobile Ad-hoc Network

Network Coding (NC) is a new paradigm for network communication. In network coding, intermediate nodes create new packets by algebraically combining ingress packets and send it to its neighbor node by broadcast manner. NC has rapidly emerged as a major research area in information theory due to its wide applicability to communication through real networks. Network coding is expected to improve throughput and channel efficiency in the wireless multi-hop network. Many researches have been carried out to employ network coding to wireless ad-hoc network. In this paper, we proposed a dynamic queue management to improve coding opportunistic to enhance efficiency of NC. In our design, intermediate nodes are buffering incoming packets to encode queue. We expect that the proposed algorithm shall improve encoding rate of network coded packet and also reduce end to end latency. From the simulation, the proposed algorithm achieved better performance in terms of coding gain and packet delivery rate than static queue management scheme.

As inexhaustible clean energy, solar energy will be the most ideal green energy in the 21st century. The effective method to convert solar energy into electrical energy is by solar photovoltaic power generation technologies. LED Emitting Diode is a kind of component which can transform electricity into visible light. As the smart current control system for photovoltaic street lights, the proposed system has improved the battery charging and discharging mechanism to extend the lifespan and effectively controls the LED discharge current according to battery charge state and lighting.
