This paper used a lumped magnetic parametric approach-based analytical technique to design the 7.5 kW, three-phase line start permanent magnet (LSPM) motor. In order to enhance the effi ciency and power factor (PF) of the prototype LSPM machine, an optimized slot shape of rotor permanent magnet (PM) was selected. The lumped magnetic circuit model is developed to present the magnetic characteristics, and analytical expressions are derived under the open circuit condition. The impact of the design variables on the analytical model air gap fl ux density distribution and magnetic fl ux leakage is studied for the LSPM. The design variables have a signifi cant infl uence on the steady-state performance characteristics of the LSPM motor. Therefore, to verify the output results of the purposed model, the two-dimensional fi nite element analysis (FEA) was evaluated for the numerical solution of the analytical model.

연구방법: 지반을 구성하고 있는 각각의 재료들의 공학적 구분을 위하여 토사, 자갈, 호박돌 등의 용어가 사용되고 있으나, 기관별로 제시된 기준의 차이와 관용적 사용으로 인하여 지반에 대한 정확한 표현상의 어려움이 발생하고 있으므로 각 기관별로 상이한 용어 및 크기에 대한 분석을 수행하였다. 연구목적: 시추 기술자의 경험적 판단에 의한 지층 판별이 관행적으로 이루어지는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 것들이 지반분야의 혼란을 야기할 수 있다. 따라서, 통일된 기준을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과: 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 각 기관별로 상이한 용어 및 크기에 대한 정리를 통하여 합리적인 기준을 제시하였다. 결론: 시추에 의한 지반조사에서 모래, 자갈, 호박돌 등 채취된 시료의 중량비, 출현빈도 및 시료길이 등을 활용하여 비교적 객관적으로 토층을 분류할 수 있는 합리적인 모델을 제시하였다. Purpose: It is necessary to set up a standardized method for classifying mixed soil layer that contains sand, gravel and boulder for engineering purposes. Method: Different size of soils was classified mixed soil layer by suggests unified soil classification method. Results: This paper suggests unified soil classification model for different size of soils where many authorities have their own system. Conclusion: Soil stratum classification method using appearing frequencies of gravels and weight ratio of boulders could be used to judgement in many cases.
상부요로상피암 환자에서 진단적 요관경 검사가 수술 후 재발에 미치는 영향

Purpose: We determined whether diagnostic ureteroscopy for urothelial cancer of the upper urinary tract affects intravesical recurrence, local recurrence, contralateral recurrence and, distant metastasis. Materials and Methods: In matched case-control study, we evaluated 140 patients undergoing nephroureterectomy for urothelial cancer of the upper urinary tract who had no history of invasive bladder cancer, distant metastasis, preoperative chemotherapy or radiotherapy between 1995 and 2009. Of 140 patients, seventy patients underwent diagnostic ureteroscopy before nephroureterectomy (study group) and, the others did not underwent diagnostic ureteroscopy (control group). We analyzed intravesical recurrence, local recurrence, contralateral recurrence and, distant metastasis. Results: There was no significant difference between the 2 groups in patient characteristics or upper urinary tract cancer stage and grade. During follow-up intravesical recurrence developed in 49 of 140 patients (35%) at a median of 11 months. The 2-year bladder recurrence-free survival rate was 72.2% in study group and 69.7% in control group without significant difference (Log rank p=0.7351). The 5-year local recurrence-free survival rate was 89.5% in study group and 93.9% in control group (Log rank p=0.4467). The 5-year distant metastasis-free survival rate was 85.3% in study group and 84.2% in control group (Log rank p=0.8720). Conclusions: We consider that the diagnostic ureteroscopy did not adversely affect recurrence in patients with urothelial cancer of the upper urinary tract undergoing nephroureterectomy.

This paper presents a dynamic force analysis of switched reluctance motor using 2D-transient finite element method. The main exciting of the vibration is the electiromagnetic force in the stator that is calculated Maxwell stress method. The advantage for elimation of vibration of 12/8 SRM was explained by comparing the radial force of 12/8 and 6/4 SRM in both time and frequency domain. In order to effective mitigate the vibration during turning off process, effects of different commutation method were investigated.
