Cloning of Involution-induced cDNAs from Mouse Mammary Gland

Involution-induced cDNAs from mouse mammary gland were cloned and characterized. After the primary differential screening of a total 40,000 pfu of cDNA library, 200 positive plaques were isolated. Positive plaques were rescreened by PCR/Southern differential nybridization. Two clones were characterized using Northern analysis and nucleotide sequencing. Partial sequences revealed that one clone coded for sulfated glycoprotein-2 (SGP-2). The other clone coded for WDNM1, a member of a family of protease inhibitors The expression of the SGP-2 gene was induced at involution days 1, 2, and 3. The SGP-2 was highly expressed in female mammary glands and testis. The expression levels of SGP-2 were low in thymus, uterus, ovary, liver, brain, and male mammary glands. The WDNM1 gene was induced at an early involution stage (6 h). The high levels of WDNM1 mRNA were maintained until involution day 4. The WDNM1 gene was expressed only in the mammary gland of female mice.
실시간 온라인 한국어 수업의 효과 및 선호하는 수업 요소 분석

This study was conducted to analyze the effects of real-time online Korean classes started due to COVID-19 for Korean learners and the elements of preferred classes, and to explore the future development direction of online learning. An online survey was conducted in January 2021 for 45 Vietnamese foreign learners enrolled in the Korean Language Education Center of S university, and descriptive statistics were analyzed. The questionnaire consisted of a total of 11 questions, such as satisfaction with online classes and the pros and cons of online classes compared to offline classes. As a result of the study, they showed higher satisfaction with the face-to-face class than the real-time online class method, and demanded a more dynamic and interesting class. In addition, there was a demand for diversification of class types and supporting materials. Accordingly, along with the development of an online education methodology optimized for online classes, the need for practical academic management for learners is raised. The results of this study can be used as basic data to increase the satisfaction of online classes for Korean learners.
한국의 중국인 유학생 유입 현황과 효율적인 중국인 유학생 유치 방안

2011년 이래 한국을 선택하는 중국인 유학생의 수는 지속적 감소 추세를 나타내고 있고, 그 빈틈은 동남아시아 출신 유학생들로 채워지고 있다. 작금의 상황은 대학 재정의 악화와 인구구조 변화에 따라 한국 대학의 중국인 유학생 유치 정책은 상당기간 지속될 것이 확실하다. 그럼에도 불구하고 무분별한 학생 선발 및 학생의 수준 관리와 지원체제의 미흡함에 대한 지적이 지속적으로 제기되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 문헌과 통계자료의 분석을 통하여 중국인 유학생이 중국을 떠나게 되는 송출요인과 한국을 찾게 되는 유인요인을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 중국의 경제발전, 고등학생 수의 감소, 한국 유학의 실효성에 대한 피로감, 한국 대학들의 무분별한 중국인 유학생 유치 등의 원인으로 중국 유학생 정체 현상이 발생하고 있음을 도출해 내었다. 이를 바탕으로 향후 획일적인 유학프로그램의 다양화, 문화프로그램 중점의 운영, 무분별한 중국 유학생 유치 지양, 상호 문화 이해 교육의 강화 등을 개선책으로 제시했다. Since 2011, the number of Chinese students who choose Korea has been declining, and the gap is rapidly filling up with Vietnamese students. Despite this trend, it is desirable to maintain the policy to attract international students to China, the world's largest sending country for international students. Therefore, in this study, the transmission factors for Chinese students to leave China and the incentives to visit Korea were analyzed through literature and statistical data. It has been found that there is a stagnation of Chinese students due to economic development in China, a decrease in the number of high school students, fatigue of the effectiveness of studying in Korea, and reckless attraction of Chinese students by Korean universities. Based on this, it suggested diversification of uniform study abroad programs in the future, focusing on cultural programs, avoiding indiscriminately attracting foreign students from China, and strengthening education to understand mutual cultures.
고전압 전력반도체 소자 개발을 위한 단위공정 링패턴설계 최적화에 대한 연구

Recently, the global demands for high voltage power semiconductors are increasing across various industrial fields. The use of electric cars with high safety and convenience is becoming practical, and IGBT modules of 3.3 kV and 1.2 kA or higher are used for electric locomotives. Delicate design and advanced process technology are required, and research on the optimization of high-voltage IGBT parts is urgently needed in the industry. In this study, we attempted to design a simulation process through TCAD (technology computer-aid design) software to optimize the process conditions of the fielding process among the core unit processes for an especial high yield voltage. As well, the prior circuit technology design and a ring pattern with a large number of ring formation structures outside the wafer similar to the chip structure of other companies were constructed for 3.3 kV NPT-IGBT through a unit process demonstration experiment. The ring pattern was designed with 21 rings and the width of the ring was 6.6 μm. By changing the spacing between patterns from 17.4 μm to 35.4 μm, it was possible to optimize the spacing from 19.2 μm to 18.4 μm.
