The purpose of the present paper is to obtain some sufficient conditions for analytic functions, whose coefficients are probabilities of the Miller-Ross type-Poisson distribution series, to belong to classes G(λ, δ) and K(λ, δ).
Hybrid Intrusion Detection Method to Increase Anomaly Detection by Using Data Mining Techniques
Bilal Ahmad,Wang Jian,Bilal Hassan 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Database Theory and Appli Vol.9 No.12
An Intrusion Detection System is an application which observes movements or action happen on the network and determine it for any kind of harmful activity that can disturb computer security policy. With progress of increase the usage rate of the internet, there is a widely increase in the number of internet attacks as well, so contests arise towards the network security due to the arrival of new approaches of attacks. To classify these attacks, a new hybrid method with the help of data mining based on decision tree C4.5 and Meta algorithm is planned. This method gives a classifier which expands the whole accuracy of detection. Many data mining techniques have been settled for detecting intrusion. For recognition of anomalies a hybrid technique based on decision tree C4.5 with Meta algorithm is offered that provides better accuracy and reduces the problem of high false alarm ratio. The assessment of the given approach is made with other data mining techniques. With this given approach detection rate is improved significantly. KDD Cup 1999 dataset use for experimental work.
Subclasses of k-uniformly convex and k-starlike functions defined by S[문자]l[문자]gean operator
Bilal [문자]eker,Mugur Acu,Sevtap S[문자]mer Eker 대한수학회 2011 대한수학회보 Vol.48 No.1
The main object of this paper is to introduce and investigate new subclasses of normalized analytic functions in the open unit disc U, which generalize the familiar class of k-starlike functions. The various properties and characteristics for functions belonging to these classes derived here include (for example) coefficient inequalities, distortion theorems involving fractional calculus, extreme points, integral operators and integral means inequalities.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>This study investigates the stress-mitigating effects of endophytic <I>Penicillium funiculosum</I> LHL06 on soybean roots via modulation of physio-biochemical, molecular, and proteomic responses to combined heavy metal (Ni, Cu, Pb, Cr, and Al) toxicity. Preliminary screening revealed that LHL06 can tolerate and remediate combined heavy metal contamination in its media and upregulate gibberellins (GA1, GA3, GA4, GA7 and GA9) and indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) production. Inoculation of LHL06 resulted in marked reduction of metals uptake in roots and shoots by downregulating heavy metal ATPase genes (<I>GmHMA13, GmHMA14, GmHMA19)</I> and <I>GmMATE1</I> compared to non-inoculated plants; in turn, this decreased abscisic acid and jasmonic acid levels. Moreover, triggering of free amino acid metabolism in LHL06-inoculated roots significantly upregulated expression of stress-related proteins (glutathione S-transferase L3, isoflavone reductase-like, chalcone isomerase A, NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (quinone), FQR1-like 1 isoform X2, and Peroxidase 3) to combat metals toxicity. Compared to non-inoculated-plants, LHL06-inoculated-plants exhibited higher antioxidant activity and transcript accumulation of glutathione S-transferase (<I>GmGST8 and GmGST3</I>), <I>G6PDH</I>, and <I>GmSOD1[Cu-Zn]</I>, which decreased metal-induced reactive oxygen species. Therefore, LHL06-inoculation remediate combined metal contamination in soil, activate signaling network of stress-responsive hormones and antioxidant systems for promoting growth and tolerance, and reduce metal-accumulation, thereby making plants safer for consumption.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> LHL10 demonstrated significant resistance to heavy metals stress and produced higher gibberellins and indole-3-acetic acid. </LI> <LI> Association of LHL06 significantly alleviated negative effects of synergistic toxicity of heavy metals in soybean. </LI> <LI> Inoculated soybean demonstrated down-regulation of heavy metals transporters genes and illustrated reduced metals uptake. </LI> <LI> LHL06 increased Stress and defence-related proteins expression of soybean under synergistic heavy metals toxicity. </LI> <LI> LHL06-inoculated soybean exhibited lowered accumulation of endogenous hormones (ABA and JA) under stress. </LI> </UL> </P>
Experimental evaluation of new channel shear connector shapes
Bilal Maghaghi,Messaoud Titoum,Aida Mazoz 한국강구조학회 2021 International Journal of Steel Structures Vol.21 No.3
In a steel–concrete composite beam, the channel shear connector is an easy solution to ensure the connection due to its availability and the simplicity of its welding. However, increasing the channel shear connector length negatively aff ects the concrete slabs and creates diffi culties to cross the longitudinal reinforcing bars. To solve this problem, fi ve new channel shear connector shapes are proposed and studied in this paper. Twelve push-out tests using a new setup, and three pull-out tests, were carried out under monotonic loading to identify the shape that gives the best performance. The failure modes, the eff ects of new channel shapes on the load-slip behavior, the concrete slaps, the bending deformation, and the height between the two plastic hinges that appeared near the base of channel connectors were mainly studied. The study reveals that the modifi cation of the channel shear connector shape is a promising way and positively infl uences the concrete-connector relationship and also the bending deformation capacity of the channel connector. As a result, the concrete cracking decreased, the ductility increased between about 15–31%, and the ultimate strength improved slightly between about 0–5.1%. Finally, the experimental results are compared to the existing equations.
Characterization and Field Measurements of NB-PLC for LV Network
Bilal Masood,Manzoor Ellahi,Waheed Aftab Khan,Waqar Akram,Muhamad Usman,Muhammad Talha Gul 대한전기학회 2018 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.13 No.1
This paper presents a procedure for field measurements which provides a generalized Narrowband Power Line Communications (NB-PLC) channel model for low voltage (LV) access network in order to deploy advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) within Lahore, Pakistan. The measurements of allocated sites were performed in the residential (urban and rural), industrial and commercial electricity consumers for the NB-PLC channel modeling of overhead transmission lines (TLs). On the basis of extensive field measurement results, the average attenuation profile and transfer functions are presented. The results obtained from field measurements are validated by comparing them with a proposed Simulink model. A close agreement in the measured and simulated transfer function (TF) results is observed. The proposed Simulink model is an effort to model the NB-PLC channels in an effective way, especially in South Asian countries.
