      • Hybrid Energy Supply based Energy Efficiency and Spectral Efficiency Tradeoff for Green Cellular System

        The tradeoff between energy efficiency (EE) and spectral efficiency (SE) under the smart grid with joint energy harvesting and grid power supply is considered. The price factor in economics is used to propose the economic EE and SE. Then a new EE-SE tradeoff metric called the EE-SE adaptive tradeoff (ESAT) is built under the fluctuating harvesting energy. Furthermore, the offline optimization problem is put forward and the solution is discussed. The offline solutions based on the branch-and-bound algorithm and the Lagrange dual decomposition method are discussed to analyze the influence of renewable energy quantity on the proposed structure. Numerical results indicate that the proposed ESAT framework is efficient to the tradeoff between EE and SE.

        Study on grain growth and conduction mechanism of spinel nickel ferrite ceramics

        The important base of its application performance can be constituted by combining microstructure with electrical conductivityof spinel nickel ferrite ceramics. In this study, nickel ferrite ceramic powders were prepared by a high temperature solid-phasereaction and ceramic blocks were prepared by molding and sintering technology. X-ray diffraction, scanning electronmicroscopy, conductivity measurement and X-ray photoelectron spectrometry were employed for analyzing the phasecomposition, microstructure, electrical conductivity, and valence states of Fe ions. The grain growth mode and conductionmechanism of nickel ferrite ceramics were also discussed. Hexagonal growth spirals and growth hillocks were observed on eachcrystal plane of nickel ferrite single crystals. The growth of nickel ferrite crystals takes place by a spiral dislocation growthmechanism, indicating that the more Fe2+ ion formed in the sites of octahedral B of NiFe2O4 ceramics, the better the electricalconductivity of this ceramic materials.

      • Nitric Oxide Synthase Expressions in ADR-induced Cardiomyopathy in Rats

        In this study, we investigate Nitric oxide synthase (NOS) expressions in adriamycin (ADR)-induced cadiomyopathy in rats. Sixty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into two main groups: control and ADR groups. Myocardial histopathological observation was performed; Expressions of 3 isoforms of NOS genes were examined by RT-PCR analysis; Expressions of 3 isoforms of NOS protein was assessed by Western blot analysis. Myocardium exhibited intensive morphological changes after 8 weeks of ADR treatment. The expression levels of inducible NOS (iNOS) gene and protein were significantly increased in ADR-treated rats after 8 weeks of treatment and then slightly increased at weeks 9 and 10. No significantly difference of neuronal NOS (nNOS) or endothelial NOS (eNOS) gene and protein were observed in the myocardium obtained from the control rats and ADR-injected rats at any time point. iNOS gene expression is selectively induced by ADR in heart. The upregulation of iNOS gene and protein may be somehow correlated with morphological changes seen in heart of rat treated with ADR.

        Characterization method of rolling bearing operation state based on feature information fusion

        Aiming at the problem of incomplete information covered by the bearing state discrimination using a single physical quantity as the data source, a characterization method based on the feature information fusion of multi-physical quantities including acceleration RMS and stiffness that are sensitive to the bearing operating state is proposed. The accelerated life test of the bearing is carried out through the bearing experiment bench, and the effect of different feature information fusion schemes to characterize the bearing state is compared, and the effectiveness of the method is verified. This paper also analyzes the different characteristics of the state evolution law between the bearing early failure caused by specific factors and the bearing reaching normal fatigue life, which provides a new method and idea for the maintenance strategy of rolling bearing such as condition-based maintenance.

        Effect of the Boundary Orientation of Melt Pool on Mechanical Property and Fracture Path in Selective-Laser-Melted AlSi10Mg Alloy

        The present work investigated the effect of the boundary orientation of melt pool on the mechanical properties and fracturepath in selective-laser-melted AlSi10Mg alloy. The acquired data are beneficial for understanding the influence of themicrostructure on mechanical properties. During the alloy’s selective laser melting (SLM), the melt pool boundary wasalmost parallel with the scanning direction, and the grains grew along the building direction. When the load-bearing facewas perpendicular to the melt pool boundary, the crack propagation path deflected towards coarse melt pool of the melt poolboundary, reducing the probability of directly crossing the fine melt pool. Otherwise, the cracks would mainly propagatealong the melt pool boundary. In the tensile deformation process, coarse melt pool (CMP) was subjected to higher localstrain than fine melt pool (FMP) and heat-affected zone (HAZ), and the crack propagated or deflected along the CMP inthe melt pool boundary. Therefore, the anisotropy of mechanical properties in SLM AlSi10Mg was mainly ascribed to theCMP density on the load-bearing face. As a weak area, the high proportion of CMP significantly reduced the strength andplasticity of the alloy.

        Declined Preoperative Aspartate Aminotransferase to Neutrophil Ratio Index Predicts Poor Prognosis in Patients with Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma after Hepatectomy

        Purpose Various inflammation-based prognostic biomarkers such as the platelet to lymphocyte ratio and neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio, are related to poor survival in patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). This study aims to investigate the prognostic value of the aspartate aminotransferase to neutrophil ratio index (ANRI) in ICC after hepatic resection. Materials and Methods Data of 184 patients with ICC after hepatectomy were retrospectively reviewed. The cut-off value of ANRI was determined by a receiver operating characteristic curve. Preoperative ANRI and clinicopathological variables were analyzed. The predictive value of preoperative ANRI for prognosis of ICC was identified by univariate and multivariate analyses. Results The optimal cut-off value of ANRI was 6.7. ANRI was associated with tumor size, tumor recurrence, white blood cell, neutrophil count, aspartate aminotransferase, and alanine transaminase. Univariate analysis showed that ANRI, sex, tumor number, tumor size, tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, resection margin, clinical TNM stage, neutrophil count, and carcinoembryonic antigen were markedly correlated with overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) in patients with ICC. Multivariable analyses revealed that ANRI, a tumor size > 6 cm, poor tumor differentiation, and an R1 resection margin were independent prognostic factors for both OS and DFS. Additionally, preoperative ANRI also had a significant value to predict prognosis in various subgroups of ICC, including serum hepatitis B surface antigennegative and preoperative elevated carbohydrate antigen 19-9 patients. Conclusion Preoperative declined ANRI is a noninvasive, simple, and effective predictor of poor prognosis in patients with ICC after hepatectomy.
