Driving is a complex psychomotor task often interrupted by secondary activities that increase cognitive workload and divert attention away from the roadway. The risk of inattentive driving is known to vary with age. To assess the impact of advancing age on driving performance under dual task condition, we evaluate the performance of 63 drivers divided into two age groups, younger (20-29) and older (60-69). This study considers driving behavior in the context of highway driving. Driving performance is composed the forward velocity, speed control and lateral control. Results indicate that age impacts both driving performance and compensatory behavior during dual load conditions.

To assess the characteristics of advancing age on driver's cognitive workload under dual task condition, we evaluate the performance of 96 drivers divided into three age groups: 20's, 40's, and 60's. This study considers driver's cognitive workload in the context of urban and highway driving. Error rate & Dual task cost are used to measure driver's cognitive workload. Results indicate that age impacts cognitive workload during dual task driving conditions.

지역의 도시환경에서 나타나는 색채 아이덴티티는 도시미관에 중요한 역할을 한다. 지역별 자치단체에서는 수년간 이에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 도시의 환경색채에 관한 방향 설정 및 색채가이드라인을 수립하고 시행하여 왔다. 본 연구는 지역별 색채가이드라인을 분석하여 지역 대표색의 특성을 알아보고자 한다. 서울특별시, 제주특별자치도, 부산광역시, 대구광역시, 광주광역시 다섯 곳 자치단체의 색채가이드라인에 의거한 다채롭고 개성 있는 지역별 색채가이드라인 재정립을 위한 기초조사이며 또한 지역의 대표색이 그 도시의 색채 정체성을 대표하고 이것이 가지는 차별성에 대해 그 특성을 검토 재확인하고자 한다.
Modeling, analysis and optimizing the power transmission mechanism for a new type of wind turbine

In this study, a new wind turbine conceptual design is presented. The current common type of wind turbines are not really suitable to install and work in urban area. While, the new idea is trying to make more environment-friendly wind turbine in order to install and implement inside cities with more advantage over common types. Unlike the common type, this proposed wind turbine has reciprocating linear motion along the vertical axis. This motion is transferred to the electrical generator by using power transmission system. This paper mainly focuses on modeling, analysis and optimization of the power transmission system for the new proposed wind turbine. Based on the obtained model and simulation the designed parameters those play important role to the system output, are founded. Finally by using genetic algorithm optimization method, the designed parameters are optimized to make an appropriate system output to the electrical generator.

An analysis of biosignal and performance data collected during driving has increasingly employed in research to explore a human-vehicle interface design for better safety and comfort. The present study developed a protocol and a system to effectively analyze biosignal and driving perfomlance measurements in various driving conditions. Electrocardiogram (ECG), respiration rate (RR), and skin conductance level (SCL) were selected for biosignal analysis in the study. A data processing and analysis protocol was established based on a comprehensive review of related literature. Then, the established analysis protocol was implemented to a computerized system so that immense data of biosignal and driving performance can be analyzed with ease, efficiency, and effectiveness for an individual and/or a group of individuals of interest. The developed analysis system would be of use to examine the effects of driving conditions to cognitive workload and driving performance.
