A Study on the Diffusion of Mobile Payment Usage in China : Focusing on the Use Diffusion Model

        Wei Wei Jiang,왕다운,최혜경 사단법인 미래융합기술연구학회 2021 아시아태평양융합연구교류논문지 Vol.7 No.9

Mobile payments have become a major payment method in China in a short period of time due to its convenience. This has gradually made the lives of Chinese consumers more mobile and improved their efficiency. In this regard, this study analyzed the current status of mobile payment usage in China based on the use diffusion model targeting 440 Chinese consumers. First, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to find out the influence and determinants of the spread of mobile payment use. As a result, it was classified into environmental creation, technology dependence, and technology anxiety. After that, the structural model was analyzed to verify the path hypothesis. As a result, environment creation and technical anxiety influenced the characteristics of mobile payment usage. And it was found that technology dependence, technology anxiety, and diversity among the characteristics of use had a significant effect on the diffusion outcome. In particular, technology anxiety has been shown to be an important factor that not only increases the spread and satisfaction of consumers, but also increases the intention to accept new technologies that will be introduced in the future. Therefore, research on consumer's technology anxiety is needed in the future, and this is expected to contribute to devising measures to increase consumer acceptance of technology.

      • Cooperation between China and ASEAN in Combating Wildlife Trade under the Framework of Regional Legal System

        Jiang Angyu(Angyu Jiang),Zong Wei(Wei Zong),Shi Qianfan(Qianfan Shi) 아시아사회과학학회 2022 Jornal of Asia Social Science Vol.9 No.1

Because of its greater biodiversity, ASEAN has long been a source and transit hub for transnational wildlife trafficking. Although several international and domestic wildlife enforcement mechanisms have been established, the scope and effectiveness of international legal cooperation and policy coordination between China and ASEAN remain limited. Governments have been hampered in their efforts to combat wildlife trafficking by the difficulties of investigation and prosecution in overseas jurisdictions and the maintenance of illicit supply chains by organized crime groups. This paper reviews the main trends of legal and illegal wildlife trade between China and ASEAN, explores the existing legal and policy frameworks of ASEAN countries and China, and discusses the effectiveness of cooperation between China and ASEAN countries by referring to the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC). Finally, put forward the legal cooperation between China and ASEAN countries in combating transnational illegal wildlife trafficking.

      • Protocols for Privacy-Preserving DBSCAN Clustering

        XU Wei-jiang,HUANG Liu-sheng,LUO Yong-long,YAO Yi-fei,JING Wei-wei 보안공학연구지원센터 2007 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.1 No.1

Cooperative computation is one of the most important fields in computer science. In recent years, the development of networking increases the desirability of cooperative computation. But privacy concerns often prevent different parties from sharing their data. Secure multiparty computation techniques can dispel parties’ doubts about revealing privacy information in this situation. On the other hand, Data mining has been a popular research area for more than a decade. However, in many applications, the data are originally collected at different sites owned by different users. This paper considers the problem of privacy preserving DBSCAN clustering over vertically partitioned data based on some results of SMC. An efficient secure intersection protocol is first proposed. The security and complexity of the protocols are also analyzed. The results show that the protocols preserve the privacy of the data and the time complexity as well as the communication complexity is acceptable.

Biotransformation of Panax ginseng extract by rat intestinal microflora

        Wei-Wei Dong,Jinhua Zhao,Fei-Liang Zhong,Wen-Jing Zhu,Jun Jiang,Songquan Wu,Deok-Chun Yang,Donghao Li,Lin-Hu Quan 고려인삼학회 2017 Journal of Ginseng Research Vol.41 No.4

Background: In general, after Panax ginseng is administered orally, intestinal microbes play a crucial role in its degradation and metabolization process. Studies on the metabolism of P. ginseng by microflora are important for obtaining a better understanding of their biological effects. Methods: In vitro biotransformation of P. ginseng extract by rat intestinal microflora was investigated at 37C for 24 h, and the simultaneous determination of the metabolites and metabolic profile of P. ginseng saponins by rat intestinal microflora was achieved using LCeMS/MS. Results: A total of seven ginsenosides were detected in the P. ginseng extract, including ginsenosides Rg1, Re, Rf, Rb1, Rc, Rb2, and Rd. In the transformed P. ginseng samples, considerable amounts of deglycosylated metabolite compound K and Rh1 were detected. In addition, minimal amounts of deglycosylated metabolites (ginsenosides Rg2, F1, F2, Rg3, and protopanaxatriol-type ginsenosides) and untransformed ginsenosides Re, Rg1, and Rd were detected at 24 h. The results indicated that the primary metabolites are compound K and Rh1, and the protopanaxadiol-type ginsenosides were more easily metabolized than protopanaxatriol-type ginsenosides. Conclusion: This is the first report of the identification and quantification of the metabolism and metabolic profile of P. ginseng extract in rat intestinal microflora using LCeMS/MS. The current study provided new insights for studying the metabolism and active metabolites of P. ginseng.

      • APPLICATION OF SIR-C DATA FOR EXPLORATION OF MINERALIZED ZONES(HWANGGANG-RI, KOREA)

        Jiang, Wei W.,Choi, S. W.,Park, Jeong Ho,Lee, Cahng Won,Kim, Duk Jin,So, Byung Han,So, C. S.,Moon, Wooil M. 대한원격탐사학회 1999 International Symposium on Remote Sensing Vol.15 No.1

This paper investigated and evaluated the NASA's Shuttle Imaging Radar-C (SIR-C) multiple frequency SAR data for differential backscattering effects of microwave from the surface geological materials overlying the skarn type mineralization. Although an integrated approach in mineral exploration is more cost effective and is well in use, there are still many technical and scientific issues to be further investigated and researched. In this study we have reprocessed several sets of previously surveyed exploration data and experimented with fuzzy logic digital fusion of the preprocessed data with respect to chosen exploration targets. Among the numerous fuzzy logic operators, which are currently available for a data driven integrated exploration strategy, we used varying combinations of fuzzy MIN, fuzzy MAX, and fuzzy SUM operators along with Gamma operator for fusion of exploration data, including the contact metamorphic zone information. The final exploration target tested was a skarn type W-Mo-F mineralization in the study area. The fuzzy logic derived mineral potential anomaly almost exactly matched the differential baekscattering anomalies on the C-band and L-band SIR_C data when overlaid tin each other. Although this high degree of correlation between these two data sets is remarkable, the differential backscattering anomaly over the skarn type W-Mo-F mineralization in the study area requires further investigation.

      • Hyperspectral Determination of Reducing Sugar in Potatoes Based on CARS

Wei Jiang,Junlong Fang,Shuwen Wang,Runtao Wang 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Hybrid Information Techno Vol.9 No.9

It usually contains a large amount of redundant information to use the hyperspectral information to create a model, which will increase the difficulty of the model analysis. Therefore, it’s so important to select the characteristic wavelength in an effective and quick way. This study is proposed by using the competitive adaptive reweighed sampling (CARS) to select the characteristic wavelength for detecting the reducing sugar content in the potatoes. In that experiment a total of 238 samples are prepared. Among them, 190 samples are selected as the calibration set and 48 samples as the validation set. The performance of CARS is compared with full spectrum and classical variable extraction methods such as Monte Carlo uninformative variable elimination (MC-UVE), genetic algorithm (GA) and moving window partial least squares (MWPLS). Experimental results show that the band screened by algorithm CARS has the best effect, compared to full spectrum modeling, the wavelength of the model reduces from 203 to 33, the model validation set coefficient R2 increases from 0.8464 to 0.8965, and the root mean square error prediction (RMSEP) decreases from 0.0758 to 0.0416. The results demonstrate that it is feasible to detect the reducing sugar content of potatoes by using CARS combined with hyperspectral imaging.

Controlling spinning pitch property by tetrahydrofuran‑soluble fraction of coal tar pitch co‑carbonization with petrolatum

        Wei Jiang,Guosong Ni,Pingping Zuo,Shijie Qu,Yunmei Li,Hongxian Niu,Wenzhong Shen 한국탄소학회 2019 Carbon Letters Vol.29 No.5

Isotropic pitch-based carbon fiber was successfully prepared from tetrahydrofuran-soluble fraction of coal tar pitch cocarbonization with petrolatum by air-blowing. The effects of reaction temperature and time, amount of petrolatum added on the composition and spinning properties of resultant pitches were investigated. It indicated that petrolatum could effectively improve the softening point, aromaticity, hydrogen content and molecular weight of the resultant pitches by promoting cross-linking and dehydrogenation polymerization reactions at low air-blowing temperature. Moreover, more aliphatic and naphthenic structures had been introduced into resultant pitches as addition of petrolatum and also inhibited the generation of quinoline-insoluble particles. The obtained green fibers were facile to be stabilized and carbonized and the resultant carbon fibers showed fully isotropic and finer, uniform diameter with smooth surface and higher tensile strength of up to 0.92 GPa. It provided a facile chemical modification method for isotropic pitch-based carbon fiber production.

Improving Catalytic Efficiency and Changing Substrate Spectrum for Asymmetric Biocatalytic Reductive Amination

        Wei Jiang,Yali Wang 한국미생물·생명공학회 2020 Journal of microbiology and biotechnology Vol.30 No.1

With the advantages of biocatalytic method, enzymes have been excavated for the synthesis of chiral amino acids by the reductive amination of ketones, offering a promising way of producing pharmaceutical intermediates. In this work, a robust phenylalanine dehydrogenase (PheDH) with wide substrate spectrum and high catalytic efficiency was constructed through rational design and active-site-targeted, site-specific mutagenesis by using the parent enzyme from Bacillus halodurans. Active sites with bonding substrate and amino acid residues surrounding the substrate binding pocket, 49L-50G-51G, 74M,77K, 122G-123T-124D-125M, 275N, 305L and 308V of the PheDH, were identified. Noticeably, the new mutant PheDH (E113D-N276L) showed approximately 6.06-fold increment of kcat/Km in the oxidative deamination and more than 1.58-fold in the reductive amination compared to that of the wide type. Meanwhile, the PheDHs exhibit high capacity of accepting benzylic and aliphatic ketone substrates. The broad specificity, high catalytic efficiency and selectivity, along with excellent thermal stability, render these broad-spectrum enzymes ideal targets for further development with potential diagnostic reagent and pharmaceutical compounds applications.

Background: Artesunate, extracted from Artemisia annua, has been proven to have anti-cancer potential. Allicin, diallyl thiosulfinate, the main biologically active compound derived from garlic, is also of interest in cancer treatment research. This object of this report was to document synergistic effects of artesunate combined with allicin on osteosarcoma cell lines in vitro and in vivo. Methods: After treatment with artesunate and allicin at various concentrations, the viability of osteosarcoma cells was analyzed by MTT method, with assessment of invasion and motility, colony formation and apoptosis. Western Blotting was performed to determine the expression of caspase-3/9, and activity was also detected after drug treatment. Moreover, in a nude mouse model established with orthotopic xenograft tumors, tumor weight and volume were monitored after drug administration via the intraperitoneal (i.p.) route. Results: The viability of osteosarcoma cells in the combination group was significantly decreased in a concentration and time dependent manner; moreover, invasion, motility and colony formation ability were significantly suppressed and the apoptotic rate was significantly increased through caspase-3/9 expression and activity enhancement in the combination group. Furthermore, suppression of tumor growth was evident in vivo. Conclusion: Our results indicated that artesunate and allicin in combination exert synergistic effects on osteosarcoma cell proliferation and apoptosis.
