        In this paper, an implementation approach of Fuzzy Position Controller for DC servo motor which requires the faster and more accurate dynamics is presented. Fuzzy position controller implemented with 80286 microprocessor and DT 2801 board consists of an adjustment routine of optimal scale factors and a Fuzzy inference routine of optimal control signals. Comparison to conventional PD controllers, the control performances of proposed Fuzzy controller such as reaching time, overshoot, and disturbance adaptability are substantially improved.

        A servo system requires faster and more accurate dynamic responses. Generally a PD control is used primarily to obtain precision. On the other hand. a fuzzy control improves the transient response and copes with the nonlinearity of systems. Recently hybrid control, which attempts to combine the advantages of PD control and the Fuzzy control was proposed, but this technique requires complicated design procedures. Therefore in this paper, designed on the Fuzzy controller with a various series rules, the width of the optimal membership functions. Also it was shown to have excellent adaptive performances against disturbances and the usefulness of this controller was shown from the results of simulations.

        수정 윈도잉 기법을 이용한 외란부가 서보 시스템의 퍼지 제어

        본 논문에서는 수정 윈도잉 기법을 이용한 외란부가 서보 시스템의 퍼지제어를 제안하고 있다. 종래의 윈도잉 기법은 스케일 팩터를 오차에 대한 계단상으로 조정하기 때문에 미소한 외란에 대해서도 시스템의 불안정 현상을 유발한다. 그러나, 제안한 수정 윈도잉 기법은 지수함수형으로 조정하는 것이다. 따라서, 이 기법을 적용한 서보 시스템은 내.외부 외란에 대한 우수한 적응특성을 나타내었으며, 정상 상태의 편차도 현저히 경감시키게 되었다. In this paper, a Fuzzy control approach of disturbance added servo system using MWT(modified windowing technique) was proposed. Because conventional windowing techniques adjust stepwisely a series of scale factors, even small disturbances make system unstable. But the proposed MWT adjusts exponentially. Therefore a servo system which applied this technique had coped excellenlty with internal and external disturbances, and also had decreased substantially steady-state deviation.

      • 동기발전기의 PID 계수 자기조정 방법

        A new technique for the exitation control of synchronous generator is presented in this paper. The proposed technique employs a Self Tuning Regulator Proportional Integral Derivative(STR PID) power system stabilizer in order to improve the dynamic performance of a synchronous machine. The STR PID cofficients using recursive-least-squares(RLS) method estimated K???, K???, K??? gains. The proposed method was applied to a one machine infinite-but power system, terminal voltage, angular velocity, rotor angle considered dynamics. Simulation results are presented, showing that the regulator provides very good performance, which is superior to that obtained with a conventional regulator with power system stabilizer(PSS). The design process of STR PID difficult inital value setting of parameters but simulation result showed convergence characteristic in short time and STR PID controller has much effect on elevation stability. It is showed to have excellent control characteristic for overshoot, settling time and convergency time to various disturbances.

        This paper proposed a optimal scale factors technique of a neuro-fuzzy controller for a load frequency control of two areas power system. The optimal scale factors control technique is optimize from an initial fuzzy logic control rule, and then is learned with an error back propagation learning algorithm of the neuro-fuzzy controller. In application two areas the load frequency control of the power system, it hopes to have response characteristic better than the conventional control technique.

        This paper was development a discharge tube ballast by 4 root method in order to wave improvement of high power factor and high efficiency. The discharge tube ballast consists of a power factor correction circuit and a correction circuit on switching frequency of inverter. Instead of passive power factor circuit, active power factor circuit is adopted. Because it has the advantage of size. weight, total harmonic distortion, out DC voltage regulation, and power factor. The power factor circuit with MG34262 is controlled by variable frequency discontinuous mode. Results experiments, discharge tube ballast by 4 root method showed to have excellent in the discharge tube ballast's operation and characteristics.

      • 신경회로망 전 보상 PID 제어기에 의한 부하주파수제어

        In this paper, we propose a neural network precompensated PID(NNP PID) controller for load frequency control of 2-area power system. While proportional integral derivative(PID) controllers are used in power system, they have many problems because of high nonlinearities of the power system. Simulation results show that the proposed control technique is superior to a conventional PID controller and an optimal controller in dynamic responses about load disturbances. The proposed technique can be easily implemented by adding a neural network precompensator to an existing PID controller.
