Purpose: Mass can compress around tissue and cause deviation of normal anatomical structures. Often, mass grows toward neurovascular pedicle and encircles depending on the nature of mature mass. Neglecting neurovascular involvement of the mass is a serious problem not to be overlooked. Authors have performed microscopic approach regarding mass involving the neurovascular pedicle in the hand. Materials and Methods: From January 2007 through February 2012, retrospective analysis for nine cases of mass involving neurovascular pedicles was done. Patients were evaluated preoperatively by ultrasonography or MRI and checked intraoperative finding. Masses were evaluated by site, preoperative evaluation, involved neurovascular pedicle, histopathologic diagnosis, complication, and recurrence. Results: The site of mass involving neurovascular pedicles was 4 cases on the wrist, 2 cases on the palm, 2 cases on the finger, 1 case on the hand dorsum. Involved neurovascular pedicles were 3 radial arteries and nerves, 3 proper digital arteries and nerves, 1 radial artery, 1 superficial branch of radial nerve, 1 common digital artery and nerve. The histopathologic diagnosis of mass were 3 ganglions, 2 giant cell tumors, 2 epidermal cysts, 1 fibroma, and 1 benign spindle tumor. There were 2 cases of recurrence and secondary excisions were performed. Conclusion: Neurovascular pedicle injury can lead to serious complication like sensory and motor disorders, distal part ischemia, and so on. In case of mass suspected neurovascular invasion, accurate preoperative evaluation such as ultrasonography or MRI is necessary. To prevent any neurovascular related complication during mass excision, delicate surgical technique using a microscope becomes essential.

In past, parking lot was placed on the ground and for the reason air quality was not in problem. But recently parking lot has been placed under the ground and the air quality becomes problem. So in this study, the ventilation performance on the underground parking lot was estimated by using CFD software and alternative system was suggested. Three case studies are handled in this study. 1st case is just an underground parking lot. 2nd case is about an underground parking lot where has 4 fan rooms on each floor and 3rd case is about an underground parking lot where has 4 fan rooms and 30 guidance fans on each floor.

This study deals with tourism service supply chain optimization model. In most of the previous research, manufacturing supply chain optimization model is investigated mostly. In this paper, we develop a mathematical model for optimizing the tourism supply chain which reflects some characteristics of the service. The mathematical model is formulated as nonlinear mixed-integer programing. The mathematical model decides the service operator and agent in the service chain by minimizing the total cost. The numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed genetic algorithm on this problem.

Surface condensation on the windows is liable to occur if the indoor humidity is increased due to occupants’ activity, perspiration and so on. The ventilation system, which is installed for the purpose of supplying fresh air and exhausting contaminated air, can be utilized to prevent surface condensation by decreasing indoor humidity. Although the condensation can be definitely prevented by operating the ventilation system continuously, it is common that the ventilation system is not operated due to the concern about electricity charges. In the previous study by this research team, the ventilation system was developed which can prevent over-humidification by discharging indoor humidity only if the minimum surface temperature of the window becomes lower than dew point temperature. In this study, the developed ventilation system was installed in the residential building in order to evaluate the performance of preventing condensation and energy consumption. In addition, temperature difference ratio of the window and minimum operation time of the system, which are required for the optimum operation of the ventilation system, were suggested. The results of the experiment shows that the developed ventilation system can prevent the surface condensation with the less energy consumption (14∼35%) than when the conventional ventilation system is operated continuously.

The surface condensation in winter season can be prevented with two methods. The first method is increasing surface temperature of space envelopes with insulation and the second method is decreasing indoor vapor pressure with ventilation. But additional insulation after construction completion is not easy. So, ventilation is more suitable to solve condensation problems. Generally, there are two types of ventilation methods in residential buildings. One is natural ventilation by opening windows, but the efficiency defends on occupant’s action whether they open the windows or not. The other is mechanical ventilation by recovery ventilator(air-to-air heat exchanger). This can provide not only regular ventilation but also high air quality and less condensation problems, if it can be controlled automatically. Therefore, it is necessary to develop automatic control device of ventilation system for preventing condensation with decreasing indoor vapor pressure. To achieve it, this paper suggests CPA(Condensation Preventing Algorithm) for the auto-control device of ventilation system.

In this paper a new service SCM model based on service science is proposed. For taking into account realistic situation Fuzzy-AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) method is applied to developing performance measurements of service SCM. Also, the proposed framework is applied to hotel industry.

Recently, concrete structures are constructed bigger and taller than before. There were many problems to control quality by Non Destructive Test in the early-age concrete. Therefore, by measuring the real-time data for the compressive strength and rebound number method and ultrasonic pulse velocity method from the concrete. NDT with curing temperature and by analyzing the data, we found structures were affected by hydration and curing temperature changes. From the real data, we can predict the concrete early-age strength, and contribute in quality control of the early-age concrete.
