비금속 수막형 2단 전기집진기를 이용한 미세입자 제거 연구

A novel two-stage wet ESP has been developed using a non-metallic carbon brush precharger and collection plates with a thin water film. The electrical and particle collection performance was evaluated using submicron particles by varying the voltages to the precharger and the collection plates. The experimental results show that the wet ESP using 7 L/min/㎡ of water that uses carbon brush precharger charged particles with approximately 10% particle loss, while producing concentration of ozone less than 30 ppb, which is significantly lower than the current limits of the international agencies, and achieved a high collection performance of average 90% for ultrafine particles, based on the number concentration at 3-5 ㎧ through the precharger and 1 ㎧ through the collection plates.

Arteriosclerosis is a pathologic term that contains hardening of arterial wall, loss of arterial elasticity and stenosis of artery. To diagnose this disease, conventional angiography, MRA, transcranial doppler ultrasonography are commonly used. And it causes various clinical phases by a region of the disease. In oriental medicine, arteriosclerosis is classified into congested fluids(痰飮), blood stasis(瘀血), stagnation of Gi(氣滯) and treated by Herb-Med, acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and the like. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of oriental medical therapy on cerebral arteriosclerosis. A patient with cerebrovascular disease admitted due to dizziness, mild dysarthria, tinnitus, anxiety disorder and his Brain MRA showed severe arteriosclerosis in right anterior cerebral artery(ACA) and middle cerebral artery(MCA). Every day, we administered to patient Herb Med and Herb pills. Also, acupuncture, moxibustion were done, too. As a result of the treatment, the patient's follow up Brain MRA showed improved state of ACA stenosis.
중풍환자(中風患者)의 상소증(上消證) 치험(治驗) 1례(例)

So-gal(消渴) is a oriental medical pathologic state that is characterized by 3 major symptoms - thirst, polyphasia, polyuria - of which especially thirst features Sang-so(上消). Diabetes mellitus and So-gal(消渴) have many points in common. But there are considerable differencies between them, because they have obviously different diagnostic bases from each other. That is, oriental medicine places more weight on symptoms than clinopathologic laboratory reports. This case of stroke patient complained of severe thirst and additional dryness in the mouth, choking sensation in the chest, hidrosis, insomnia, dark colored urine, constipation. The patient had no clinical history of diabetes mellitus. Based on oriental medical standards, we diagnosed the case as Sang-so(上消). Several herbal medicines were dispensed for 48 days. And considerably effective result were obtained. Object : 1 case of stroke patient who complained severe thirst. Medication : . Seonghyangjeonggisan for 5 days (2000. 6. 9 - 6. 13.) . Paljeongsan for 21 days (2000. 6. 14. -7. 5) . Ikwonsan for 8 days (2000. 7. 6 - 7. 13) . Okcheonsan for 14 days (2000. 7. 14 - 7. 27) Result : 1. After administration of Paljeongsan, dark colored urine turned normal. 2. After administration of Ikwonsan, dryness in the mouth improved. 3. After administration of Okcheonsan, thirst significantly improved. Constipation, choking sensation, hidrosis, insomnia also improved.

Anemia is present in adult if the hematocrit is less than 41%(hemoglobin <13.5g/dL) in males or 37%(hemoglobin <12g/dL) in females. In taking the history, congenital anemia may be suggested by the patient's personal and family history. Poor diet results in folic acid deficiency and may contribute to iron deficiency. Bleeding should always be considered in iron deficiency. Object : The symptoms of this patient are easy fatigability, dizziness, anorexia and paleness of the face. This women is the patient of iron deficiency anemia, cerebral hemorrhage and hypertension. Medication : Gwibitang(歸脾湯) plus(合) Samultang(四物湯) and feroba are dispensed for 30 days. Result : After 30 days, HCT Hb Iron of the laboratory findings are increased and TIBC of the laboratory findings is decreased.

Cerebrovascular disease causes various symptoms like hemiparalysis, facial palsy, dysphagia, dysphasia etc. Although patients take lots of time to treatment, there are many cases symptoms could not be cured completely and patients could get sequelae. Jihwangeumja(dihuangyinzi) is used the cerebrovascular disease with dysphasia and motor impairment of the lower extremities due to weakness of kidney. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Jihwangeumja on lower extremity weakness caught by cerebrovascular disease. In this study, we administered Jihwangeumja to two stroke patients with lower extremity weakness and analyzed the clinical progresses. As a result of the treatment, patients showed improved symptoms.
실내 배기형 가정용 건조기에서 발생하는 미세입자의 질량농도 및 성분 분석

The particles emitted from a household clothes dryer with an indoor exhaust port has been investigated based on particle mass, size, morphology and composition. The PM10, PM2.5 and PM1.0 emitted from the dryer was 22.8, 12.1 and 2.7 μg/m3 respectively for a 90 minutes cycle, and the concentrations were remarkably low compared to existing PM standards. The average size of the particles was about 0.280 μm and the number concentration was about 4.0 * 107 particles/m3. The particles had larger size and lower concentration than indoor air particles and thus, they contained low portion of ultrafine particles. They were found to be broken fibrous materials and their composition was close to cotton. Therefore, the particles emitted from the dryer would be less harmful to human health than ultrafine atmospheric aerosols.

The present study carried out experimental and analytical study of a Loop Heat Pipe(LHP), employing various working fluids, different system orientation modes and so on. This paper presents a LHP employed micro ceramic wicks and various working fluid such as Ammonia, Water and R-134a are used as working fluid. We observed how LHP was affected by different compensation chamber temperature and system mode. The best perpermance was achieved from CC-mode with R-134a. Futhermore, we simulated LHP in each various environments. As a result, an important fundamental data required for the establishment of the theoretical prediction of LHP performance was obtained.

반도체 공정에서 배출되는 미세입자를 포집하기 위하여 전기집진장치가 적용되고 있으나, 배출가스 내 포함된 강부식성 오염원에 의한 전기집진장치 내부 오염 및 부식 문제가 심각하여, 이를 해결하기 위한 방안이 절실하다. 본 연구에서는 탄소섬유로 이루어진 하전부와 PET 필름 사이에 금속 박막이 삽입된 집진부로 이루어진 내부식 전기집진장치를 개발하여, 하전부 및 집진부 인가전압, 처리유량, 하전부 채널 수 등의 운전 조건에 따른 전기집진기 전/후단 입자 농도 변화를 측정하기 위하여 느???를 사용하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 9채널 하전부와 65㎜ 집진부로 구성된 전기집진기의 성능평가 결과, 500㎥/hr 유량조건에서 하전부 및 집진부에 7 ㎸와 10㎸를 각각 인가하였을 때, 300 ㎚입자에 대한 포집효율이 90% 이상으로 높게 나타났다. Electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) used currently in industries for removing fine particles from semiconductors have to be made of expensive anticorrosive metallic materials in order to maintain their particle-removal performance. To satisfy the economical demands of industries, a novel ESP was developed; in this ESP, the charger is made of carbon fibers and collection plates consist of PET films among which an aluminum sheet is inserted. The ESP was evaluated by changing the voltages applied to the chargers and collection plates, flow rates, and number of charging channels. KCl particles with mean diameters of 100 ㎚ were used, and a scanning mobility particle sizer was used to measure the changes in particle number concentrations upstream and downstream of the ESP. The experimental results showed that more than 90% of the particles were removed by using the ESP containing ionizers with nine channels and 65-㎜ collection plates at 500 ㎥/hr when voltages of 7 ㎸ and 10 ㎸ were applied to the ionizers and collection plates, respectively.

Current electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) for removing fine particles from semiconductor industries have used costly anti-corrosive metallic materials to maintain the particle removal performance. Due to the economical demand of the industries, a novel ESP was developed whose charger was made of carbon fibers and collection plates of PET films in which an aluminum sheet was inserted. The ESP was evaluated by changing applied voltages to chargers and collection plates, flow rates and number of charging channels etc. KCl particles whose mean diameter was 0.1 ㎛ and concentration was 10?~10? #/㎥ were used as test particles and a scanning mobility particle sizer was used to measure changes in particle number concentrations before and after the ESP. The experimental results showed that more than 90 % of particles were removed by the ESP with 9 channels and 65 ㎜ collection plates at 500 CMH when 7 ㎸ and 10 ㎸ were applied to discharge electrodes and collection plates, respectively.
