In this study, experimental research was carried out to evaluate the earthquake-resistant performance of reinforced concrete beam-column joint using carbon fiber and aramid fiber materials in existing reinforced concrete building. Test result shows that Retrofitting specimen (LBCJ-CS2, LBCJ-AF2, LBCJ-CRU) designed by the improvement of earthquake-resistant performance and ductility using new materials(carbon fiber sheet, aramid fiber sheet and carbon fiber bar) could attained more load-carrying capacity and stable hysteretic behavior. The load-carrying capacity of each specimen was increased 30.6~38.7% in comparison to standard specimen.
