Objectives: This study investigated the influence of related factors including somatic symptoms and depression on sexual function in elderly men. Methods: Two hundred one elderly men (over 60 year-old) at Daegu and Gyeongbuk district participated in this study. All the participants performed the patient health questionnaire (PHQ)-15, instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), Korean form of geriatric depression scale (K-GDS), and international index of erectile function (IIEF). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t tests, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression. Results: In univariate analysis, there were significant differences of somatic symptoms, IADL and depression according to age, education level, perceived health and economic status, and family satisfaction. The mean difference of sexual function was statistically significant by socio-demographic characteristics. Multiple regression analysis revealed significant associations between somatic symptoms and sexual function after adjusting for socio-demographic characteristics. Conclusions: Somatic symptoms including age and perceived health status should be considered the major factors to improve sexual function in elderly men.

Traffics are classified into two types, real-time traffic such as voice and video and nonreal-time traffic such as data. By properties of burstiness and correlation between interarrival, it is assumed the arrival of real-time traffic to be a Markovian Arrival Process ( MAP ). The nonreal-time traffic follows a Poisson Process. We compare performance of diverse scheduling schemes to support real-time and nonreal-time traffic. Concretely, Head of Line priority scheme, Shortest Job First scheme, Longest Job First scheme, Bernoulli scheme, QLT scheme and QLT scheme with Bernoulli, are investigated, and their performance measures, loss and delay, are compared. Finally, this investigation helps the system designer to select optimal scheduling scheme, while satisfying the Quality of Service(QoS) of each traffics.
열화상/적외선 카메라와 레이더를 이용한 딥러닝기반 야생 멧돼지 인식에 대한 연구

매년 야생 멧돼지의 개체수 증가로 인하여 농가의 피해도 급격이 증가하고 있는 상황이다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 멧돼지의 움직임을 감지할 수 있는 레이더 및 야간에도 동물이나 사람을 인식 할 수 있는 열화상 카메라와 적외선 카메라를 이용하여 야생 멧돼지를 탐지하고 인식할 수 있는 딥러닝 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

In this study, we analyze a manufacturing system with a variable production rate. The system produces an item upon a request. If an arriving request finds the system occupied, the request waits in the queue. The production (or service) time distribution of requests (or customers) upon production initiation is changed if the number of requests in the system reaches a predefined threshold L₂. Then, the changed production time distribution continues until the number of requests in the system is reduced to another threshold L₁(≤ L₂), and this process is repeated. We model this system as an MMPP/G/1/K queue with a modified state-dependent service rate and analyze the system using an embedded Markov chain and a supplementary variable method. The performance measures of the queue-length distributions at a customer`s departure epochs and at an arbitrary time are derived. Numerical examples are also presented.
일부지역 치과의 기관, 감염관리자, 환자의 감염관리에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate the performance of dental infection control. This survey was performed on 158 of the dental hygienist in certain areas. The research was performed using a self-reported questionnaire and interview method from June to July, 2014. The collected data was analyzed by PASW Statistics ver. 18.0. Guideline of infection management, infection controller, regular infection control training, Sterilization of the handpiece/per head resulted 57∼74% for dental hospital. It was higher than 13∼20% for dental clinics (p<0.05). Infection control guidelines and vaccination recognition of dental were more performed in dental hospital. Patient``s hand hygiene performed, tooth brushing before treatment, cross infection educational experience was less than 20%, research cooperation of medical history was over 90% (p<0.05). Performing rate of the dental hospital workers were investigated higher in protective personal devices, infection control of treatment room. A correlation analysis about institutional support, infection control of dental hygienists, patients with infection control cooperation showed a positive correlation statistically significant. Infection control can be enhanced when the medical staff, the patient, the organization combined cognitive and practice. Dental hygienist is required to recognize and practice the infection control guidelines through continuing education.
