Intermediate shaft is located between steering column and worm gear box. As a main part conveying steering torque, it should be adequately deformed in the event of a car accident and therefore driver's injury from steering wheel and steering column can be reduced. Most of the intermediate shafts are prcduced by machining process. In the case of manufacturing coated shaft, additional machining process is needed. In order to remove the additional maching process, comparatively simpler shape of the shaft corresponding to new coating type, is inevitably required. In this study, the shapes of intermediate shaft are investigated to apply new coating type ani several simple shapes are suggested. In addition, the shapes are compared to those of spline types in the aspect of torque resistance strength.

소프트웨어 형상관리는 소스코드제어, 변경 관리 및 버전제어를 하는 행위를 가리키는 것이다. 여러 개발자가 공통 파일 세트에서 동시에 작업 중인 소프트웨어 개발에 주요 사용된다. 이 논문에서는 소프트웨어 형상관리를 위한 소스코드 비교기능, 변경 및 수정 내역 기록, 개발자를 위한 소스코드 공유 공간을 제공하는 등의 기능에 대한 설명과 기대효과에 대해 설명한다.

Recently, high-speed and high-load were required essentially to reduction gear, constructive safety is more important. In this paper technique of analytical evaluation is suggested to improve existing safety evaluation method of reduction gear depended on test result and design formula. Load of each gear was calculated by using commercial analysis program ADAMS and conducted to finite element analysis based on calculated loads. Gear was estimated to constructive safety about bending strength and surface durability, compared design formula of AGAM standard results. Also the gear box was evaluated constructive safety through load analysis and finite element analysis each of mounting condition.
