박화목 동시 연구 (1)

본고는 박화목이 동시로 문단에 등단하여 60여 년간 이룬 작품 활동가운데 특히 동시를 연구 대상으로 삼는다. 그간 제대로 연구되지 못한 박화목의 동시 발표 현황을 여러 자료를 수합하여 정리하고, 그가 발표한 동시들의 제목을 살펴 특징적인 제목의 동시를 중심으로 논의함으로써 동시 작가로서 박화목의 동시관을 알아보고자 하였다. 박화목이 1940년대부터 1990년대까지 9권의 동시집에 발표한 동시의 편수는 220여 편이다. 그의 동시 자료를 찾아 동시집별 시기별로 정리하여 목록으로 작성하였다. 또 220여 편의 동시의 제목을 탐색하여 같은 제목 다른 동시들의 특징과 다른 제목 같은 동시들의 특징 및 유형을 알아보았다. 이러한 동시 발표 현황이나 특징적인 제목의 동시를 중심으로 탐색함으로써 그의 동시관의 일부분을 알아보았다. 그는 주로 자연과 고향 이미지의 동시 세계를 그렸다. 그리고 그의 동시 세계를 그리고 있는 시어의 감각이나 함축, 호흡, 행과 연의 구성에 의한 전체성 등 내용과 형식에 대한 치밀한 조탁을 거치는 과정을 살펴볼 수 있었다. 그는 동시의 문학성에 깊이 고민하면서 같은 제목의 동시를 여러 번 고쳐가며 다듬어 반복적으로 발표하였다. 또한 시의 율격에 대해 치밀한 실험을 거쳐 시어 및 행과 연 구성에 특별한 주의를 기울인 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 점은 1940년대 이후 우리 동시단 및 박화목 개인의 작품 발표 경향이나 동시관을 엿볼 수 있는 논의로서 한국 아동문학 연구사에 기여 할 것으로 기대한다. This study has the research subject especially as children´s poetry out of the work activities that Park Hwa-mok had formed for about 60 years after starting his literary career as childrens poetry. The aim was to examine Park Hwa-moks view of childrens poetry as an author of childrens poetry by discussing centering on childrens poetry with the characteristic title through collecting and arranging several materials on the present status for Park Hwa-moks childrens poetry publication, which failed to be properly researched, and through examining titles of childrens poetrys that he had released. He depicted the world of childrens poetry mainly in nature and hometown image. And, it could examine his world of childrens poetry, and the process of passing through delicate elaboration on contents and forms such as sensation, implication, and breathing in poetic diction, and as allness by construction of line and Stanza. He repetitively released by polishing with proceeding with severally modifying childrens poetry with the same title while worrying deeply about the literary value of childrens poetry. Also, he could be confirmed to have paid special attention to the poetic diction and the construction in line and Stanza after passing through elaborate experiment on a rule of poem. As this matter is discussion that can observe our history of studies on childrens poetry, and Park Hwa-moks individual work publication tendency or view of childrens poetry since the 1940s, it is expected to likely contribute to a research history of Koreas childrens literature.

1910년대 아동 신문『붉은 져고리』 연구

본 연구는 1910년대 우리나라 최초의 아동을 위한 신문인 『붉은 져고리』에 대한 연구 성과를 정리하고 검토하고자 하였다. 또『붉은 져고리』에 수록된 동요를 고찰하여 그 특성을 파악함으로써 근대적 아동문학의 형성기에 특히 동요 장르의 형성 과정으로서 1910년대 동요의 특성을 고찰하고자 하였다. 1910년대의 아동 신문인『붉은 져고리』는 표면적으로 ‘아동’ 을 독자로 선언하고 있다. 하지만, 그 ‘아동’의 의미역은 전통적으로 수립되어온 아동 개념 및 담론과 서구적 담론의 영향이 복합적으로 구성된 것을 알 수 있다. 『붉은 져고리』에 수록된 10편의 동요는 당시 노래 가사의 형태 및 역할, 그리고 내용을 잘 드러내고 있다. 수록 동요는 모두 정형률을 엄격하게 지키거나 시적 화자를 아동으로 하는 경우가 뚜렷하였다. 이는『소년』지에 등장하는 창가들과 형태면에서 유사하면서도 아동용 노래가사로서의 특징을 더욱 잘 드러내고 있는 점이라고 하겠다. 그 내용면에서 당시 아동의 생활상을 쉽고 일상적인 우리말로 표현하고 있으며 이솝우화를 노 래가사로 만든 동화시 계열의 시가로서 특징이 드러나는 점이다. 그러나 이들 동요의 내용 해석 차원에서 볼 때, 그 형태나 내용은 ‘아동용’이 분명해지면서도 내포하고 있는 독자로서 아동의 개념역이 더 넓어진 것이라고 볼 수 있다. 민족의 삶에 대한 소망을 담은 아이들 노래는 아동의 노래이면서 성인의 노래이고 민족의 노래이기에 이때 ‘아동’은 복합적이고 다중적 의미로 볼 수 있기 때문이다. This study is aim to review and analyze the “Bulgeun Jeogory”, the childrens newspaper in the 1910s. Especially I focused on the characteristic o verses for children because they have a decisive effect on formation and transition of modern children’s literature in Korea. Verses on “Bulgeun Jeogory” is very important because they could make the the golden era of verses for children in 1920s. “Bulgeun Jeogory” is the first childrens newspaper in Korea. However the concept of the child in this paper is different from that of western. That is more complicated concept which is consolidated into one. One was came from western and the other was came from itself our own. I have shown the typical examples of “Bulgeun Jeogory; 10 verses. They feature form of lyric, contents and role to meet the demands of the times. They fixed regular type and poetic speaker as a child. It could be similar cases of verse in “Sonyen” however those from “Bulgeun Jeogory; are lyric of the songs for children. The contents of the verses show children’s lifestyle in the 1910’ and feature native tongue. Some verses of them feature children’s songs from Aesop´s Fable. “Bulgeun Jeogory” is a newspaper for children. However people of communication to children’s literature were grow-ups and all of Korean in the 1910’ had have an earnest with to independence from the Japanese Empire, Therefore, the child of “Bulgeun Jeogory; is significant multitude.

1970년대 이후 동시의 생태학적 상상력

1970년대 이후 동시에 드러나는 생태학적 상상력을 살펴보았다. 동시에 드러나는 동심도 생태학적 가치관이 파괴된 현실 속에서 왜곡되거나 불안에 떨며 파괴되고 있는 모습을 드러내고 있다. 그렇지만 문학으로서 동시는 낙원 상실을 재현하는 이미지 외에도 낙원의 회복을 꿈꾸는 이미지, 낙원을 상상하는 전일체적(全一體的) 이미지를 형상화함으로써 현실을 반영하고 시적 전망을 제시하고 있다. 낙원 상실을 재현하고 있는 이미지는 황폐화된 생태계의 재현, 파괴되어 가는 동심의 재현으로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 또 낙원 회복의 꿈 이미지로는 ‘오래된 미래’ 이미지, 자연과의 화해를 통한 낙원 회복의 이미지, 순수한 자연의 삶에서 찾은 낙원의 이미지로 구분할 수 있었다. 그리고 낙원을 그리는 전일체적 이미지로는 우주 만물의 평등 관계 이미지, 순환관계 이미지, 조화 관계 이미지로 정리할 수 있었다. The ecological imagination, which is revealed in children’s poem following the 1970s, was examined. Even the mind of a child, which is disclosed in children’s poem, was showing the image of being destroyed with being distorted or shaking with anxiety amid the reality that the ecological value was ruined. However, children’s poem as literature was reflecting reality and suggesting poetic prospect by embodying the image of dreaming of recovery in paradise and the image of holistic image of imagining paradise even in addition to the image of reproducing the loss of paradise. The image of reproducing the loss of paradise could be divided into the revival of the devastated eco-system and the revival in the mind of a child, which proceeds with being broken. Also, the image of dreaming of recovery in paradise could be divided into the image of ‘old future,’ the image of recovering paradise through reconciliation with nature, the image of paradise, which was found in life of pure nature. And the holistic image of depicting paradise could be found as the image of equality in all things in the universe, the image of circular relationship, and the image of harmonious relationship.

‘남북한 공통국어’ 교육 내용 선정의 쟁점과 과제 ―초등 문학 교육을 중심으로

통일국가 시대를 준비하는 과정으로서 ‘남북한 공통국어’ 교과를 상정하고 그 교육의 방향을 탐색하였으며 초등 문학교육을 중심으로 그 내용 선정의 쟁점과 과제를 탐색하였다. 우선 ‘남북한 공통국어’ 교육의 방향을 탐색하기 위하여 통일국가시대 국어교육의 방향으로 네 가지 강조할 역량을 설정하였다. 우리말글 공동체로서 새 문화 창조를 위한 역량으로 ‘창의적 사고역량’, ‘평화역량’, ‘상호문화역량’과 남북의 문화충돌 완화를 위한 국어능력으로 강조되어야 할 ‘통일역량’을 설정하였다. ‘공통국어’의 초등 문학 교육 내용 선정의 쟁점과 과제로 강조되어야 할 네 가지 역량의 초등 국어교육적 편성의 문제 해결을 위한 과제, 아동문학 제재 선정의 쟁점과 과제, 아동문학 장르 용어 및 문학교육 용어의 문제, 문학 교육 내용 영역 설정의 문제와 해결 방향을 탐색하였다. This study aimed to explore the issues and tasks in selecting educational content for the “Common Korean Language of South & North.” I considered three “capacities” which will be the directions of the common Korean language in the United Nation. Theses are the creativity capacity, the peace capacity, and the intercultural capacity. I suggested the unity capacity as the means to ease the cultural collisions between the south and the north. The tasks that we must carry out to develop the common curricula include the following: organizing the four capacities in the curriculum of common Korean language; selecting the themes of children’s literature; uniting the terms of the children’s literature and literature education; and developing the contents of literature education.
