QFD를 이용한 식기세척기의 감성기반 사용성 평가 연구

This research is for developing a usability evaluation model based on customer sensation using Quality Function Deployment, which evaluates the relationship between consumer sensation and usability among the physical design factors of dishwashers. Four aspects of the evaluation model; overall sensation factors, detail sensation factors, usability evaluation factors and physical design factors of products were analyzed in three sequential processes of QFD. The sensation evaluation factors and the usability evaluation factors were created from regression analysis of the results of the sensation and usability test. Moreover, thirty-one physical design factors selected through group discussion of ergonomist and manufacturers. Among them, 19 physical design factors according to priority were applied to evaluation model using QFD. With the evaluation model using four aspects, physical design factors influencing user sensation were generated. These factors were 'alarm sound', 'dishwasher size', 'button size' and 'display size'. Consequently, the degree of influences was tested. Design guidelines for dishwashers were derived from finally generated physical design factors.

사용자의 검색 목적을 포함한 검색엔진 인터페이스 디자인에 관한 연구

정보기술이 발달함으로써 우리 주변에 둘러싼 거의 모든 정보는 디지털 정보로 데이터베이스화되어 정보에 대한 접근성(Accessibility)을 높여 정보화 시대를 이루게 되었다. 하지만 무한의 정보속에서 사용자가 자신에게 필요한 정보를 선별하는데 있어서 어려움이 뒤따르며, 어떠한 정보가 중요하고, 어떠한 정보가 중요하지 않은지 판단하기란 쉽지 않게 되었다. 따라서 데이터베이스에 저장되어 있는 필요한 정보를 쉽고 정확하게 검색하여 사용자들에게 제공함으로써 정보에 대한 접근성과 활용 가능성을 높이고자 검색엔진의 필요성이 증가되었다. 본 연구는 사용자의 검색목적과 검색엔진 인터페이스 디자인 요소 간의 관련성 분석을 통해 검색엔진의 활용성을 높임과 동시에 검색엔진의 사용편의성과 사용자 만족도를 향상시키기 위한 검색엔진 인터페이스 디자인의 중요 속성 제시하고자 한다. 즉, 사용자의 검색목적을 고려하여 검색엔진 인터페이스 디자인에 활용될 수 있는 가이드 라인으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 사용자들의 검색목적 유형과 검색엔진 인터페이스의 형태를 분류하고, 서로 간의 관련성을 분석하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서 제시된 중요 인터페이스 속성은 사용자들에게 보다 효율적으로 정보를 검색할 수 있는 이점을 제공하며, 다양한 사용자층을 포함하여 궁극적으로 검색엔진의 활용도를 높일 수 있을 것이다. The development in information technology allowed most of the information around us into digital information, in other words, a database. The innovation increased the accessibility and helped this society change into an informational age. However, there is a shortcoming of this open source as the users have difficulty in assorting the information that s/he needs and realizing if the information provided is important. Therefore, the need for search engine has risen in such a way to increase the accessibility and facilitation of information provided to the users through searching the necessary information in the database by an easy and accurate way. This aim of study should propose the important design attribute to increase the utilization of search engine through relationship analysis between purpose of user and interface design factors of search engine. In other words, these attributes, as design guideline, could apply to the search engine interface design considering of user’s search goal. For this, the purpose in using the search engine and types of search engine interfaces were categorized and correlated the relationships. The search engine interface suggested from the result provides interface that allows efficient search for desired information and embrace a variety in users, eventually increasing the usability in search engine.

비디오 관찰법을 활용한 저상버스 이용자 행동 패턴에 관한 연구

With the diffusion of Universal Design, interest in low-floor bus for the mobility handicapped person is increasing. In this study, we observed behavior patterns of passengers who are using low-floor bus based on video observation method. We investigated behavior patterns of passengers in Context of Use perspective. The components used in this Context of Use analysis were derived in consideration of various passengers, situations, and equipment. Drawing on these components, total 16 user behavior patterns are induced. The analysis of the usage case in correspondence with each behavior pattern showed that passengers demand more supportable equipment and individual behavior convenience including setting their personal belongings. We expect that the result of this study enables to understand major discussions of existing low-floor bus and to provide direction for designing next-generation city bus.
