Density Determination of Au Nanoparticles Using Single Particle ICP-MS

In this work, the densities of Au nanoparticles (NPs) were determined by single particle (sp) inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Single particle measurement at low concentration with a dwell time of 100??s showed good agreement with the size measured by scanning and transmission electron microscopy (SEM and TEM). The size of Au nanoparticles up to 100?nm showed linear function with the measured counts, while 250 and 400?nm particles required signal suppression due to signal saturation. The density of Au NPs was estimated, based on the particle size measured using TEM. From four repeated measurement sets, the averaged densities of 50 and 100?nm Au NPs were determined to be 21.9 (±18.3%) and 20.8 (±11.0%) g/cm3, respectively, which were slightly larger than the bulk density of Au, 19.3 g/cm3.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the actual insulation performance of the apartment building PC (precast concrete) envelope to which steel tying materials are additionally installed between structures and hollow-core slabs are applied. Through three-dimensional steady-state heat transfer simulation, the energy performance and condensation risk of each envelope composed of RC (reinforced concrete) and PC having the same legal U-factor and insulation method were compared and analyzed. As results, it was found that the effective U-factor and temperature difference ratio of the RC and PC envelopes were very similar, indicating that the energy performance and condensation risk were almost the same. The effective U-factor of both the RC and PC envelopes was about 30 to 90% higher than the legal U-factor, indicating a large heat loss due to thermal bridges. Therefore, in order to improve energy performance, it is necessary to remove thermal bridges in both the RC and PC envelopes.

Purpose This paper tired to identify the consumers’ tendency with individual features and social influence as the independent variables because of the importance of identifying the various needs of financial consumers in accordance with the expansion of new financial demands. Furthermore, this paper included the relative attraction of Fintech and switching cost from mobile banking to Fintech as the variables. Design/methodology/approach To analyze the empirical study, data was collected online by conducting the questionnaire survey with 247 individuals who had used the Fintech service. The study results would provide us with the understandings of the factors influencing on the customer satisfaction and switching value recognized by consumers in case of switching from the existing mobile banking to the Fintech service. Findings The results would provide useful implications to the academic and the practical fields including the Fintech enterprises expanding the activation of Fintech industry.
OSC를 위한 라멘구조 PC조 공동주택의 PC 커튼월 외벽 및 바닥 접합부 단열계획 및 해석

The aim of this study is to find an effective insulation method for the curtain wall type PC(precast concrete) outer wall and floor joint of a rahmen structure apartment built with PC. The insulation performance of the existing case and alternatives in the recently constructed apartment building was evaluated through three-dimensional steady-state heat transfer simulation. As a result, it was found that the existing case needs to reduce thermal bridging effects caused by curtain wall corbels and fastening units and cover the upper fastening unit with sufficient thickness. The first alternative, which moved the position where the curtain wall corbel was supported to the upper part of the girder and sufficiently covered the upper fastening unit, showed that the effective U-factor decreased by 23.5% compared to the existing case. The additional insulation between the curtain wall and the girder of the first alternative reduced the effective U-factor by 32.4%. If the curtain wall corbel is removed, the effective U-factor is reduced by up to 36.3%, but structural analysis is required for field application.
