In an attempt to optimize friction spot joining process of Al alloys for automobiles, effects of joining parameters such as tool rotating speed, plunging depth, and joining time on the joints properties were investigated. A wide range of joining conditions could be applied to join Al alloys for automobile without defects in the weld zone except for certain welding conditions with a lower heat input. For sound joints without defects, tensile shear strength of joints was higher than acceptable criteria of tensile shear strength of resistance spot welded joints for aluminum.

In this thesis, the connectivity between the military culture in the Middle Ages and costumes by researching the effect on the clothing in the Middle Ages of the culture of knight from the 11th century to middle of the 15th century was tried to be recognized. The culture of knight was widely divided into 4 articles - Chivalry. Tournamemt. The equipment of knight, Heraldry - and then researched. The conclusion after researching the influence of the culture of knight upon the clothing in the Middle Age in the above is as follows. Regarding the clothing, the military culture such as the crusader war, armor, and heraldry was popularized over the entire Middle Ages as the military-look style, and regarding the ornament the result of the crusader war caused the introduction of the Eastern civilization and development of the commerce and industry, and also trade, and consequently the ornament became luxurious. Regarding the footwear, when seeing the Gothic shoes, it can be found that it is similar with the knight`s shoes made of the metal. As seen in the above, it can be recognized that the culture of knight caused the huge influence upon the whole politics, culture, and society in the Middle Ages as well as upon the costumes.

This paper describes the auto-depth control system with depth control tank for low speed submersible vehicle that can be used for both near surface and deeply submerged keeping operations. The PDA control algorithm is used to design controller and adaptive notch filter is designed to eliminate the dominant frequency of seaway. The computer simulations demonstrate the excellent depth keeping performance of the controller under seaway effects.

본 연구는 제주도내 위치하는 상시 유수가 흐르는 6개의 하천을 선정하여 이화학적 요인과 부착 규조류 군집의 분포를, 2008년에서 2012년까지 연 2회 조사하였다. BOD는 0.0~1.6 mg L-1의 범위로 높은 수질 상태를 나타냈으며, TN, NH3-N, NO3-N, TP와 PO4-P는 각각 평균 4.432 mg L-1, 0.069 mg L-1, 3.822 mg L-1, 0.092 mg L-1, 0.071 mg L-1으로 비교적 높은 영양염의 농도를 나타냈다. 조사기간 동안 출현한 부착 규조류는 총 171종으로 2목 4아목 10과 28속 150종 17변종 2품종 2아종으로 구성되어 있었으며, 주요 우점종은 광적응성종인 Achnan-thes lanceolata, Melosira varians, 호청수성종인 Gomphonema pumilum, 호오탁성종인 Navicula minima, Nitzschia palea 등으로 나타났다. DAIpo와 TDI를 이용한 생물학적 수질 평가에서는 각각 평균 56.0 (보통, C등급), 70.4 (불량, D등급)으로 제주도내 하천의 수생태건강성은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. To identify distribution of epilithic diatom assemblages and the relationship between diatoms and water chemistry, samples were collected twice a year from 2008 to 2012, from at 6 streams in Jeju Island, South Korea. A total of 171 diatom taxa were identified, and Achnanthes lanceolata, Gomphonema pumilum, Melosira varians, Navicula minima and Nitzschia palea were dominantly observed. BOD ranged 0.0~~1.6 mg L--1, TN 0.230~~13.240 mg L--1 (average 4.432 mg L--1), TP 0.020~~0.316 mg L--1 (average 0.092 mg L--1), and N/P rate ranged 2.5~~178.5. Average of epilithic algal chlorophyll-a and AFDM were 1.1 μμg cm--2 and 0.6 mg cm--2, respectively. According to BOD standard, the water qualities of study area sites were at ‘Good’ level. However, the healthiness levels assessed from DAIpo and TDI were ‘Fair’ to ‘Poor’.
