This paper presents concurrent design methods of surface permanent magnet synchronous machines for saliency-tracking self-sensing position estimation. Magnetic saliency for the self-sensing is created by stator pole saturation due to the rotor zigzag leakage flux. The power conversion properties such as saliency ratio, torque ripple, and efficiency vary according to motor design. The property change due to design modification is analysed by using finite element analysis, and with the appropriate design modification, proper saliency is created while preserving their power conversion capabilities.
등속조인트 부트 체결용 이어 타입 밴드의 체결 공정 해석

An ear-type band which is a kind of CVJ parts fastens the boot to the out/races against grease leakage. It has many strong points like high productivity and high clamping force. But, the strength is a hot design issues because of the large plastic deformation in clamping process. So, high tensile steels are used and the entire shape should be designed carefully. In this study, a FEA analysis procedure is developed to analyze the safety of clamping process of the ear-type band. The strength, clamping load, and extruding deformations were analyzed. By reducing the stiffening groove of a broken band model, the strength was enhanced. Experimental tests on the broken and the modified band proved the validity of the developed FEA model. Three weak regions were revealed in both FEA analyses and tests, the plastic strain was an effective base in strength evaluation. The remained clamping load was 20% of the maximum working load. The first hook took 46% of working load and the second hook took 66% of remained clamping load.

A flux-switching permanent magnet (FSPM) motor using ferrite magnet is proposed to replace a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for elevator door applications. The prototype of an FSPM motor has been built up for experimental validation. Back-electromotive force (EMF) is estimated to prove that simulated results are correct and reliable. The efficiency of an FSPM motor has been verified to be comparable to that of a PMSM in spite of using ferrite magnet, but there is a disadvantage in torque ripple due to the interaction of harmonic components between back-EMF and magneto-motive force (MMF). However, most of researches on an FSPM motor have been focused on eliminating the harmonic components of back-EMF. In this paper, the design process of an FSPM motor based on winding function theory has been given to diminish torque ripple by considering the harmonic components of back-EMF and MMF along with cogging torque at the same time.
정형외과 병동 간호사의 통증관리 지식, 통증관리 자기효능감, 공감역량이 통증관리 수행에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 정형외과 병동 간호사의 통증관리 지식, 통증관리 자기효능감, 공감역량과 통증관리 수행 간의 관계를 파악하고, 통증관리 수행에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하기 위한 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 연구대상자는 상급종합병원 및 종합병원에서 근무하고 있는 정형외과 병동 간호사 110명으로, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집 하였다. 통증관리 자기효능감, 공감역량, 통증관리 교육경험이 정형외과 병동 간호사의 통증관리 수행에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 따라서 정형외과 병동 간호사의 통증관리수행 역량을 증진시키기 위해 통증관리 자기효능감 및 공감역량 향상 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는 노력이 요구된다. Background: The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of pain management knowledge, pain management self-efficacy, and empathic capacity on the pain management performance of orthopedic unit nurses. Methods: This study employed a cross-sectional design using the survey. Participants were 110 orthopedic unit nurses from five university hospitals located in the B, U, and I metropolitan cities. Data collection was carried out from February 1, 2019 to March 6, 2019. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis with IBM SPSS WIN 25.0 program. Results: Pain management performance had statistically significant positive relationships with pain management self-efficacy (r=.46, p<.001) and empathic capacity (r=.38, p<.001). Regarding the factors that have an influence on pain management performance, pain management self-efficacy (β=.33, p=.001), empathic capacity (β=.21, p=.024), and experience in pain management education (β=.18, p=.032) were the significant factors. These variables explained 26.1% of the pain management performance in orthopedic unit nurses. Conclusions: The findings would be used as a basis for effective strategies for pain management by orthopedic unit nurses in the future.
