COT 제어 플라이벅 컨버터를 위한 전압 리플 보상회로의 분석 및 설계

Multiple output converters can be utilized when various output voltages are required in applications. Recently, one of the multiple output converters called fly-buck has been proposed, and has attracted attention due to the advantage that multiple output can be easily obtained with a simple structure. When constant on-time (COT) control is applied, the output ripple voltage must be treated carefully for control stability and voltage regulation characteristics in consideration of the inherent energy transfer characteristics of the fly-buck converter. This study analyzes the operation principle of the fly-buck converter with a ripple generation network and presents the design guideline for the improved output voltage regulation. Validity of the analysis and design guideline is verified using a 5 W prototype of the COT controlled fly-buck converter with a ripple generation network for telecommunication auxiliary power supply.

In this paper, dynamic overmodulation strategies are proposed for two phase full bridge inverter. The four step operation to use maximum voltage in limited DC link is described and minimum distance, same angle and minimum switching state overmodulation techniques are presented. The simple scalar arithmetic based algorithms are proposed to implement the overmodulation techniques. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

This paper proposed a novel current measurement method for two-phase half-bridge inverter using single current sensor. The proposed method measures DC link input current and a phase current simultaneously and reconstructs each phase currents by simple calculation according to voltage vector. The commutation modes of two-phase half-bridge inverter is analized. The current sampling and reconstructing method is also presented. The proposed method is verified through simulation and experimental results on two-phase induction motor drive system.

본 논문은 자동차용 능동 전륜 조향 제어 시스템을 소개한다. 능동 전륜 조향 장치는 조향의 편의성과 안정성을 위하여 조향비를 가변하거나 유사시 능동적으로 전자 제어 유닛(Electronic Control Unit : ECU)이 액추에이터를 제어해 주는 시스템이다. 최근 전자 샤시 시스템의 개발 추세인 샤시 통합제어 관점에서 능동 전륜 조향 장치의 역할을 설정하고 성능만족을 위한 제어기 구조에 관하여 설명한다. 설계된 제어 시스템을 3,300㏄급 대형 승용차에 적용하여 그 유용성을 검증하였다.

This paper describes a development of MDPS control system using Surface mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (SPMSM). The control system is composed of MDPS logic to improve vehicle dynamics characteristics and motor torque controller to track torque reference precisely. A DC link current sensing and reconstruction algorithm is also included to attain cost down in the control system. The validity of the developed control system is verified by experiments in laboratory and a 2,200㏄ level Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) under various driving conditions.

In battery-operated systems, an isolated converter is used to interface the utility grid with the system to increase stability when charging and discharging batteries. Systems such as vehicle-to-grids (V2Gs), on-board chargers, and energy storage systems (ESSs) have recently become popular, and the roles of isolated converters have become important considerations in fabricating such devices. A fixed-frequency LLC converter, which is a type of isolated converter, presents the advantages of high efficiency and high power density by performing zero-voltage switching (ZVS) over wide frequency ranges. However, the magnetizing inductance of the LLC converter should be designed to enable ZVS in all switching devices. Therefore, in this study, the operating characteristics of the LLC circuit are analyzed, and an optimal design method for ZVS operation is established. Moreover, an 8 kW LLC high-efficiency and high-power-density resonant converter is designed and tested for ESS application. The LLC converter achieves 98% efficiency at rated power.
