고려시대 단청문양을 활용한 창작헤어바이나이트 디자인 연구

Today’s design trend is a balance of tradition and modern culture. During the process of reinterpretation, diverse design patterns have been created. In traditional culture, dancheong (Korean traditional multicolored pattern) has been a great inspiration. In particular, it has recently been an excellent motif for creative hairstyling in the cosmetology industry. This study examined the concept, shapes and symbolism of dancheong patterns and reinterpreted it from a modern perspective. It was applied to hairstyling for Hair by Night nd patterns were sketched to create a new hairstyle. It was then illustrated using Adobe Illustrator CS3. As a result, three evening hair styles were created. In the taegeuk pattern, red, blue, black and highlighted colors were primarily used. The hair was styled asymmetrically to create modern and stylish Hair by Night. In the wave pattern, violet, blue and highlighted colors were adopted. Hair was blow-dried to create sea wave and vortex styles. In the Bodhisattva pattern, yellow, brown and highlighted colors were primarily used to express the gentle and solemn image of a Buddhist. With the said results, this study has specified the types and meaning of dancheong patterns. In addition, they were applied to Hair by Night, creating unique hairstyles. It is also expected that the experience in this study would encourage hairstylists to develop more creative styles.

In the modern society, a variety of designs have been developed in the process of reevaluation for traditional and modern cultures. In particular, Korean traditional patterns inspire to the artists and they are used as multiple materials of creative styles. Therefore in this study, designs of hair art items were developed using hair wastes and epoxy with the motives of peacock and dragon in animals and apricot blossom and pine tree in plants, upon studying the shapes and symbols of patterns by concepts and symbolic meanings of traditional patterns, theoretical and conceptual reviews of epoxy resin and hair art. Hence, the developmental potential of hair art using traditional patterns was found in this study and it is considered to approach the general consumers closely with the momentum of new design development.

The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of South Korea has applied a semi-public service system on domestic sea routes since 2018. This study aimed to measure the effects of policies surrounding the efficiency of those sea routes by applying the data envelopment analysis model. Furthermore, this study sought to draw political implications by examining the efficiency of domestic passenger shipping in Korea as well as its determinants. The research undergone in this study exploited the data of 86 domestic sea routes in Korea during 2017-2019. Semi-public routes were found to be more efficient than general routes and subsidiary routes. However, the average efficiency scores of all three types of routes diminished from 2017 to 2019, mainly due to a downfall of the number of passengers. The results also showed that the amount of subsidy positively affects the efficiency of sea routes. Other determinants that significantly affected the efficiency scores were the type of the routes, the design speed of the sailing ship, the age of the shipping company, and the distance of the routes, etc. Lastly, it was demonstrated that considering the number of cancellations of voyages in the efficiency analysis could reflect the properties of domestic sea routes.

헤어바이나이트 디자인의 전통단청문양 응용연구 (작품 제작을 중심으로)

국제화, 정보화 시대라 할 수 있는 21세기는 디자인의 흐름에 있어서 전통과 현대문화가 혼합되어 다양한 디자인을 만들어내는 경향성을 보이고 있다. 특히 한국전통문화중 단청문양은 민족의 정서와 얼이 깃들어 있는 미술자료로서 동양인의 음양오행에 대한 가시적인 조형성 특성과 독특한 아름다움을 지니고 있기 때문에 현재 패션, 예술, 뷰티산업 및 교육 등 여러 분야에서 활발히 연구 진행이 되고 있다. 하지만 헤어디자인에 관련된 구체적인 연구는 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 헤어바이나이트와 단청문양에 대해 이론적 고찰하고, 헤어디자인에 응용하고자 하는 문양의 종류 및 상징적 의미를 바탕으로 작품을 제작하였다. 단청문양 기본문양 중 동물 문에서는 봉황문양과 나비문양을, 식물 문에서는 국화문양을 모티브로 선정하여 창작헤어바이나이트 작품을 제작하였다. 이에 본 논문을 통해 단청문양을 창의적, 현대적으로 재해석함으로써 헤어바이나이트의 새로운 디자인을 제시하였다. The 21st century, which can be called the globalization and the information age, shows a tendency to create various designs by mixing traditional and modern culture in the flow of design. Especially, in the Korean traditional culture, Danchong pattern (motifs) is an artistic material with the emotion of the nation which possesses the visible formative characteristics and distinctive beauty on Yin-Yang and the Five Elements of the oriental people. For this reason, active research is being carried out on Danchong currently in various fields including fashion, art, beauty industry, and education. However, specific research on hair design is quite limited and inadequate. Accordingly, in this research, we have considered on hair-by-night and Danchong pattern theoretically, and produced our works on the basis of the types of pattern to be applied to hair design and their symbolic meaning. Of basic motifs of Dangchong pattern, we have selected phoenix motif and butterfly motif among animal motifs and chrysanthemum motif among plant motifs and produced creative hair-by-night works. In this thesis, we have presented a new design of hair-by-night by reinterpreting Danchong creatively to agree with modern sensibility.

본 연구에서는 정상인을 대상으로 실내승마운동에 따른 하지 근활성도와 균형능력을 알아보았다. 그 결과 승마운동을 한 실험군에서 한발서기에서의 근활성도와 균형능력이 향상되었다.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the quality-based characteristics of Prunus mume fruit syrup, which is manufactured with various sugared sweeteners for suggestion of suitable alternative sweetener. Sweetener such as sucrose (MHP1), crystalline fructose (MHP2) and liquid fructo-oligosaccharide (MHP3) are used to manufacture Prunus mume fruit syrup. The sugar content of MHP1, MHP2 and MHP3 showed 53, 54 and $36^{\circ}Brix$, respectively. The total organic acid content of MHP1, MHP2 and MHP3 was 2.22, 3.07 and 3.71%. The total free sugar content of MHP1, MHP2 and MHP3 was 54.39, 47.52% and 31.62%, respectively. The appearance of MHP1 and MHP2 remained unchanged for the entire period but MHP3 had molded since the first week. This was as a result of the low total free sugar content in MHP3 sugared with liquid fructo-oligosaccharide compared to MHP1 and MHP2 sugared with solid sucrose and fructose. The sensory characteristics of MHP2 manufactured with crystalline fructose indicated an above average quality, indicating that it is difficult to manufacture Prunus mume fruit syrup using liquid sugar. It is suggested that crystalline fructose characterized solid form and lower glycemic index than sucrose be useful to manufacture Prunus mume fruit syrup as alternative sweetener.
