        Nano-particles (on the order of 1 to 100 ㎚) contained within the droplet are moved by liquid flow and stacked at the contact line. The self-pinned contact line under the evaporating droplet is very interesting in the field of patterning and separation of particles and biocells<SUP>2-5</SUP>. Models accounting for the nano-particles’ flow and deposit patterns have been reported and verified by various experiments. Here, we report for the first time a phenomenon where micro-particles (on the order of 1 ㎛) in the colloid droplet flow to the center of droplet. There are three modes of fluid and particle flow in the evaporating droplet. In the first mode, a self-pinned contact line is maintained and the fluid and micro/nano-particles flow to the contact line. In the second mode, micro/nano-particles self-assemble at the near contact line, as reported by Jung and Kwak. In the final mode, only micro-particles are advected to the center of the droplet due to movement of the contact line.

        필라테스 매트운동과 발레프로그램 병행이 비만 중년여성의 체지방율, 혈중지질과 아디포넥틴에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of pilates mat exercise and a ballet program on body fat percentage, blood lipid, and adiponectin in obese middle-aged women by combining pilates mat exercise and a ballet program for eight weeks. The subjects of the study were obese middle-aged women with ≥30% body fat who wanted to participate in the physical fitness class conducted by D-gu in G Metropolitan City. They had no special medical conditions, agreed to all experimental procedures, and voluntarily participated in the study. The subjects were randomly assigned to the exercise group(n=11) and the control group(n=9). The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of pilates mat exercise and a ballet program on body fat percentage, blood lipid, and adiponectin in obese middle-aged women. The pilates mat exercise and ballet program were conducted with obese middle-aged women for eight weeks in the physical fitness center located in D-gu. Based on the results, the following conclusions were obtained. First, the exercise group conducting the pilates mat exercise and ballet program showed a significant decrease in the body fat percentage. Second, for blood lipid, the exercise group conducting the pilates mat exercise and ballet program had in total cholesterol, significant differences in triglyceride and LDL cholesterol. Third, the exercise group conducting the pilates mat exercise and ballet program showed a significant increase in adiponectin, suggesting the positive effect of the exercise. In conclusion, the pilates mat exercise and ballet program had positive exercise effects on the decrease in body fat percentage in obese middle-aged women. To prevent ongoing osteoporosis after middle age, the pilates mat exercise can be recommended to enhance muscle strength. Moreover, triglyceride and LDL cholesterol, which are risk factors of metabolic syndrome, were effectively decreased and the adiponectin in the blood, which is an obesity indicator, was increased. It suggests a positive effect on obesity improvement. Therefore the pilates mat exercises, which is good to enhance flexibility and muscle strength, and the ballet program, which is effective for aerobic exercise and posture correction, can be recommended to obese middle-aged women. It will greatly contribute to giving them the fun of exercise and promoting their health.

        발레 참여가 과체중 여대생의 신체구성, 렙틴, 그렐린과 아디포넥틴에 미치는 영향

        The study conducted the results of the ballet program for the 8 weeks at the Center for the Promotion of the Physical Fitness of the City of G to determine the impact of participating in the ballet program on body composition, leptin, ghrelin and adiponectin. They consented all experimental procedures and participated in the exercise voluntarily. They were randomly assigned into the exercise group(n=11) and the control group(n=8). During the period of exercise, three participants were excluded by dropping out for personal reasons and dietary life other than exercise could not be controlled. The results are as follow. First, In the change of body composition, the exercise group participating in the ballet program decreased significantly in body weight and body fat percentage, and showed a positive effect by increasing lean body mass. Second, In the leptin changes, the exercise group participating in the ballet program decreased significantly in leptin, indicating a positive effect. Also, there were no differences in control group. Third, in the change of ghrelin, the exercise group participating in the ballet program showed a significant increase in ghrelin, showing a positive effect. Fourth, in adiponectin, the exercise group participated in the ballet program showed a significant increase in adiponectin concentration and positive exercise effect. As a result, participation of the overweight women college students in the ballet program decreased the body weight and body fat percentage significantly, suggesting that it positively affects women college students. In addition, It is considered to be an effective exercise program for weight loss.

        This paper investigates Russian pronouns of discourse deixis and their deictic aspects. Russian discourse deixis is expressed by means of the demonstrative pronouns eto ‘this’, to ‘that’ and the personal pronoun ono ‘it (neutral gender, singular number and third person)’. The proximal demonstrative pronoun eto ‘this’ is unmarked way to render discourse deixis and it reveals the given event’s perceptual, temporal, psychological proximity to the narrator-speaker, the high level of involvement of the subject in the given event and new or foreground information. The distant demonstrative pronoun to ‘that’ and the personal pronoun ono ‘it’, as a marked peripheral expression of discourse deixis, are not used as actively, widely and frequently as the proximal demonstrative pronoun eto ‘this’. The demonstrative pronoun to ‘that’ overtly expresses a perceptual, temporal and psychological distance from the narrator-speaker, the low level of involvement of the subject in the given event, and old or background information which are derived inter alia from the pronoun’s deictic meaning while the personal pronoun ono ‘it’ that is not supposed to demonstrate the overt distance merely implies a covert distance from the narrator-speaker. In any cases Russian pronouns of discourse deixis reveal the deictic information, just as the exophoric deictic pronouns, whereas generally the deictic information is neutralized in discourse deixis in other languages. This peculiarity of Russian pronouns of discourse deixis must come from at least two important characteristics of Russian discourse deixis. Firstly, the proximal demonstrative pronoun eto ‘this’ is unmarked in Russian discourse deixis. The proximal demonstrative refers to what is close while the distant demonstrative refers to what is not close, i.e., not only what is distant but also what is neither distant nor close, which makes the distant demonstrative can be used distance-neutrally in many languages. Namely, the Russian proximal demonstrative eto ‘this’ by nature cannot be neutral in the distance, while the distant demonstrative, such as English distant demonstrative that can. Consequently the other peripheral Russian pronouns of discourse deixis to that and ono it also cannot but reveal the lack of the proximity in overt and cover ways. Secondly, there are other means than the unmarked proximal demonstrative pronoun eto ‘this’ to express discourse deixis in Russian.Although the unmarked proximal demonstrative pronoun to ‘this’ is used also in Polish discourse deixis, the Polish distant demonstrative pronouns and personal pronouns are not employed in discourse deixis, and the proximal deictic meaning of to ‘this’, as the only means to express deictic discourse, is annulated. Meanwhile the existence of discourse deictic Russian to ‘that’ and ono ‘it’ makes the deictic contrast more vivid in Russian discourse deixis.

        The magnetic field in single-layer solenoid with multi-current is calculated using Elliptical function, Legendre polynomials and Biot-Savart law. The optimization conditions to a highly uniform magnetic field in the center of solenoid has been studied. The variation of magnetic field depending on radius difference was examined. The uniformity of magnetic field is compared with that obtained each multi-current method. The five-current method increases the working space within 0.02 ppm uniformity by eighty times that using single current method. And this method improves the magnetic field uniformity which is equivalent to the effect of 160 m long solenoid by using single current.
