Ovarian cancer is common malignant disease with high mortality in the female. However, lymph node metastasis in the head and neck of ovarian cancer is very rare than in para-aortic, pelvic lymph node. A 49-year-old female patient came to our clinic with a left neck mass. After total thyroidectomy and left selective neck dissection for the cervical neck level II, III, IV, V, VI for ovarian cancer and thyroid cancer, she had already undergone chemotherapy (Paclitaxel+Carboplatin) 18 month ago. CT scan showed only lymph node enlargement in left neck level II. Positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) revealed a hypermetabolic lesion in same area but no other hypermetabolic lesion, especially in the pelvic and abdominal cavity. Fine needle aspiration cytology revealed metastatic carcinoma. The serum level of CA-125 was elevated to 43.8U/mL, whereas other tumor markers (CA 19-9, CEA) were in the normal range. She underwent a revision of selective neck lymph node dissection for the cervical neck levels I, II, and III, and on the review of surgical pathology, metastatic carcinoma was suspected. Thus, we performed immunohistochemical staining for the tissue; as a result, it was finally diagnosed as metastatic ovarian cancer (positive for CK7, ER and PR, and negative for CK20). Adjuvant chemotherapy (Paclitaxel+Carboplatin) was planned on the tumor board, and the patient successfully received chemotherapy.

This study examined the treatment characteristics of hard-to-degrade pollutants such as TCE which are found in organic solvent and cleaning wastewater by nZVI that have excellent oxidation and reduction characteristics. In addition, this study tried to find out the degradation characteristics of TCE by Fenton-like process, in which H2O2 is dosed additionally. In this study, different ratios of nZVI and H2O2, such as 1.0 mM : 0.5 mM, 1.0 mM : 1.0 mM, and 1.0 mM : 2.0 mM were used. When 1.0 mM of nZVI was dosed with 1.0 mM of H2O2, the removal efficiency of TOC was the highest and the first order rate constant was also the highest. When 1mM of nZVI was dosed with 0.5 mM of H2O2, the first order rate constant and removal efficiency were the lowest. The size of first order rate constant and removal efficiency was in the order of nZVI 1.0 mM : H2O2 1.0 mM > nZVI 1.0 mM : H2O2 2.0 mM > nZVI 1.0 mM : H2O2 0.5 mM > H2O2 1.0 mM > nZVI 1.0 mM. It is estimated that when 1.0 mM of nZVI is dosed with 1.0 mM of H2O2, Fe2+ ion generated by nZVI and H2O2 react in the stoichiometric molar ratio of 1:1, thus the first order rate constant and removal efficiency are the highest. And when 1.0 mM of nZVI is dosed with 2.0 mM of H2O2, excessive H2O2 work as a scavenger of OH radicals and excessive H2O2 reduce Fe3+ into Fe2+. As for the removal efficiency of TOC in TCE by simultaneous dose and sequential dose of nZVI and H2O2, sequential dose showed higher first order reaction rate and removal efficiency than simultaneous dose. It is estimated that when nZVI is dosed 30 minutes in advance, pre-treatment occurs and nanoscale Fe0 is oxidized to Fe2+ and TCE is pre-reduced and becomes easier to degrade. When H2O2 is dosed at this time, OH radicals are generated and degrade TCE actively.
충남 서산지역 대기 중의 오존농도와 그 영향인자와의 관련성

This study was conducted to investigate the relation between ozone concentration and the affecting factors in Seosan City of Korea from Jan. 2002 to Dec. 2002. We analyzed the air pollutants such as N0₂, PM10, S0₂, CO and the meteorological factors including solar radiation, air temperature, wind speed and relative humidity. The analytical data were taken statistics by SPSS method. The results were as follows: The seasonal average concentration of ozone were detected 35.0 ppb in Spring, 25.4 ppb in Summer, 23.5 ppb in Autumn and 21.4 ppb in Winter. So the difference of concentrations showed significantly in statistics. The hourly ozone concentration in a day was increased at 7-9 AM, peaked at 3-4 PM. The correlation coefficients was negative to ozone concentration and N02, S02, CO, relative humidity, but positive to solar radiation, air temperature, wind speed. With stepwise multiple regression analysis on the 8 factors such as N0₂, PM10, S0₂, CO, solar radiation, air temperature, wind speed and relative humidity, the seasonal primary factors were air temperature in spring. relative humidity in summer and solar radiation in autumn and winter. The above results suggest that ozone is the secondary pollutant by photochemical reaction as the concentration of ozone was increased with the raise of solar radiation.

본 논문은 BDD(Binary Decision Diagram)을 이용한 멀티플렉서 구조 FPGA의 테크놀로지 매핑 알고리즘을 기술한다. 제안된 알고리즘에서는 대상회로와 논리 모듈이 구현 가능한 회로를 BDD로 모델링하여 그 모델링된 BDD사이의 매칭을 수행한다. BDD 구성시에 depth와 fanout을 함께 고려한 배열 순서를 사용하여 대상 함수에 대한 BDD의 크기를 줄이고 매핑되는 논리 모듈을 줄이며, 매핑된 논리 모듈들중 하나의 논리 모듈로 구현가능한 논리 모듈들을 병합시켜 최종 매핑된 논리 모듈의 수를 줄인다.

Malignant lesion of the trachea predominantly results from direct spread of adjacent tumors, whereas primary tracheal malignancies are rarely observed. Tracheal tumors are usually diagnosed late on account of delayed specific symptoms: dyspnea, stridor, coughing and hemoptysis. Primary tracheal tumors, although very rare, may extend into the thyroid gland and present as a thyroid mass. Surgery, followed by adjuvant radiotherapy, is the treatment of choice. A case of primary tracheal cancer with thyroid invasion is reported, and a review of the literature is presented.

We made a research on the sports facility managers who manage the commerical swinning center in seoul, Kwang Ju, Pusan and Taegu, The results are as follows: (1) The competitive strategy of swimming center consists of inner-differentiation strategy, outer-differentiation strategy and low cost strategy. (2) Inner-differentiation strategy is emphasized by the swimming center which sets the goal for growth maintenance. (3) Competitive stratgy of swimming center is determined by each stage in the life cycle theory ① Introduction stage : The emphasis of strategy is laid on inner-differentiation strategy. ② Growth stage : The emphasis of strategy is laid on both inner-differentiation strategy and outer-differentiation strategy ③ Decline stage : The emphasis of strategy is laid on outer-differentiation strategy with the aim to maintain.

In this paper, we introduce a flexible gripper that we have engineered to precisely pinch in parallel and compliantly grasp objects. As found in most conventional industrial grippers, the parallel pinching property is essential for precise manipulation. On the other hand, the grippers with a flexible structure are more adept at grasping objects with arbitrary shapes and softness. To achieve these disparate properties, we introduce a flexible gripper mechanism composed of multiple flexible beam structures. Utilizing these beam structures, the proposed gripper is able to grasp arbitrarily shaped objects. Additionally, a unique combination of flexible beams enables the gripper to pinch objects using the parallel fingertips for enhanced precision. A detailed description of the proposed mechanism is provided, and an analysis of the strength and stiffness of the fingertip and finger body is presented. The Results section compares the theoretical and experimental analyses and verifies the properties and performance of the proposed gripper.
