MMIC 응용을 위한 초소형 능동형 90^∘ 전력 결합기

This paper proposes the highly miniaturized active $90^{\circ} power combiner for application to MMIC. Conventional passive $90^{\circ} power combiners can't be integrated on MMIC because of their very larger size. Therefore, the highly miniaturized $90^{\circ} power combiners are required for a development of highly integrated MMIC. For this paper, the highly miniaturized active $90^{\circ} power combiner employing InGaP/GaAs HBT was fabricated on GaAs substrate for application to highly integrated MMIC. A size of fabricated active $90^{\circ} power combiner was $2.42{\times}1.05$ mm, which was 2.2 % of conventional passive $90^{\circ} power combiner. The fabricated active $90^{\circ} power combiner showed a gain characteristic about 10 dB and a good phase-difference coupling characteristic of $-92.6^{\circ} than conventional passive $90^{\circ} power combiner at 2.4 GHz. The highly miniaturized active $90^{\circ} power combiner exhibited good RF performances comparable to conventional passive $90^{\circ} power combiners. This work is the first report of an active $90^{\circ} power combiner. 본 논문에서는 MMIC 응용을 위한 초소형화된 능동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기를 제안한다. 기존의 수동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기는 매우 큰 크기 때문에 MMIC 상에 집적되어질 수가 없다. 따라서 초소형화된 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기는 고집적된 MMIC의 개발을 위해 요구되어진다. 본 논문을 위해서 InGaP/GaAs HBT를 이용한 초소형화된 능동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기는 고집적된 MMIC 응용을 위해 GaAs 기판 상에 제작하였다. 제작된 능동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기의 크기는 $2.42{\times}1.05$ mm이며, 이는 기존의 수동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기의 약 2.2 % 정도의 크기였다. 제작된 능동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기는 2.4 GHz에서 기존의 수동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기보다 약 10 dB의 이득 특성과 $-92.6^{\circ}의 양호한 위상차 결합 특성을 보였다. 초소형화된 능동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기는 기존의 수동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기들에 비해서 좋은 RF 성능을 나타내었다. 본 논문은 능동형 $90^{\circ} 전력 결합기에 대한 최초의 보고이다.

우리나라 장미산업의 국제화에 대비하여 필리핀 코르딜레라 고냉지 지역에서 생산된 장미의 품질, 수량 및 우수 품종을 연구, 소득 분석을 요약하여 아래와 같이 산업화의 기초자료를 얻기 위해 본 실험을 수행하였다. 절화 내 질적 실험에서는 대비종에 비해 특히 'Jacaranda' 품종은 개화기간 46일, 13일정도의 꽃받침 휨 정도보다 짧은 것으로 나타내므로, 광질, 조사기간 및 온도 등이 영향을 제일 많은 영향을 받는 것으로 볼 수 있었다. 절화 시 'Vicki Brown'와 'Jacaranda' 품종은(개화기간 49일, 13일 꽃 받침 휨 정도 이내) 중, 단초 절화로 분류되는 다른 품종에 비해 단축되는 경향을 보았다. 'Jacaranda', 'Vcki Brown', 'Golden Times', 'Champagne', 'Osiana' 및 'Queen Elizabeth' 품종은 전정에서 46.7일에서 50.77일까지 조기 개화되었으나 'Tineke' 품종은 전정 41일 후에 꽃 받침 휨 정도가 0.5cm에 이르게 되어 개화형성이 늦어짐이 뚜렷하였다. 여기에서 상위 10품종 장미의 순수익은 'American Orange' 품종 $77072, 'Yellow Island' 품종 $39322, 'Frosty Pink' 품종 $27130, 'Champagne' 품종 $24516, 'Coral Pink' 품종 $23992, 'Lara Pink' 품종 $22961, 'Lara Orange' 품종 $17856, 'Grand Gala' 품종 $17645, 'Golden Times' 품종 $20163 및 'Lady X' 품종 $19452 등이다. In days to calyx-flex stage test, flower development affected by light intensity, light duration and the prevailing temperature. As, 'Jacaranda' variety shorter in under 46 days of flower bud formation and 13 days of calyx-flex stage than the other variety with 'Queen Elizabeth' control variety. About cut flower only 'Grand Vicki Brown' (as within 46 days of flower formation, 13 days of calyx stage and 'Jacaranda', both with shorter plants than the other varieties produced cut flower classified as short and medium-stemmed cut flowers. 'Jacaranda', 'Vicki Brown', 'Golden Times', 'Champagne', 'Osiana', and 'Queen Elizabeth (control variety)' flowered earlier from 46.7 to 50.8 days from pruning. Flower development was likewise faster in all the above mentioned cultivars; while 'Tineke' had significantly delayed flower development reaching calyx-flex stage from 0.5 cm bud size after 51.0 days. The top ten high yielding varieties were 'American Orange', with a net income of P3,081,676.00; 'Yellow Island' with P1,572,874.00; 'Frosty Pink' with P1,085,183.00; 'Champagne' with P980,620.00; 'Coral Pink' with P959,669.00; 'Lara Pink' with P918,444.00; 'Lara Orange' with P714,252.00; 'Grand Gala' with P705,787.00; 'Golden Times' with P806,489.00; and 'Lady X' with P778,060.00 net returns.

Power IC용 고신뢰성 Differential Paired eFuse OTP 메모리 설계

본 논문에서는 program-verify-read 모드를 갖는 고신뢰성 24bit differential paired eFuse OTP 메모리를 설계하였다. 제안된 program-verify-read 모드에서는 프로그램된 eFuse 저항의 변동을 고려하여 가변 풀-업 부하(variable pull-up load)를 갖는 센싱 마진 테스트 기능을 수행하는 동시에 프로그램 데이터와 read 데이터를 비교하여 PFb(pass fail bar) 핀으로 비교 결과를 출력한다. 그리고 모의실험 결과 program-verify-read 모드에서 24-비트 differential paired eFuse OTP와 24-비트 듀얼 포트 eFuse OTP IP의 센싱 저항은 각각 $4k{\Omega}$과 $50k{\Omega}$으로 differential paired eFuse OTP의 센싱 저항이 작게 나왔다. In this paper, a high-reliability differential paired 24-bit eFuse OTP memory with program-verify-read mode for PMICs is designed. In the proposed program-verify-read mode, the eFuse OTP memory can do a sensing margin test with a variable pull-up load in consideration of programmed eFuse resistance variation and can output a comparison result through a PFb (pass fail bar) pin by comparing a programmed datum with its read one. It is verified by simulation results that the sensing resistance is lower with $4k{\Omega}$ in case of the designed differential paired eFuse OTP memory than $50k{\Omega}$ in case of its dual-port eFuse OTP memory.

위상특성을 이용한 공진기의 외적 양호도(Qe) 추출 방법

본 논문에서는 마이크로스트립 선로 공진기와 입출력 단자의 결합 위치에 따른 공진기의 외적 양호도를 위상 특성을 이용하여 구하는 방법을 제시한다. 마이크로파 필터 설계에서 단자 접속 구조로 많이 이용되는 접합 선로 구조와 결합 선로 구조에 대해 단자의 위치와 선로의 폭과 간격에 따른 결과를 제시한다. 이 방법으로 정확한 $Q_e$ 값을 얻을 수 있었고, 이 결과는 결합공진기 필터 설계에 응용될 수 있다. The external quality factor ($Q_e$) is controlled by coupling condition between resonator and input/output ports in design of microwave filter. In this paper, we represent extracting method of external quality factor using phase response for resonator with input/output ports according to position of feed line from microstrip line resonator. The results regarding to position, coupling gap and line width for tapped line and coupled line structure are represented, and we got the exact $Q_e$ value from the this method. This results will be applied to coupled resonator filter design.

호흡패턴에 따른 성인의 심박수 동태 해석

Objectives : This study aims to evaluate the effects of expiration-to-inspiration time ratio (E/I-ratio) on heart rate, which represents cardiac autonomic function, and cold-heat in the healthy people. Methods : 49 healthy young volunteers(male : female = 32 : 17) were recruited in the study. The participants completed the questionnaire for yin-yang pattern identification and then we measured the chest plethysmogram for respiration signal and the electrocardiogram for NN intervals during different E/I-ratio from 1 to 2. We compared heart rate variability including RMS-SD, VLF, LF and HF, and the trend-cycle factors decomposed from NN interval data by time series analysis among the respective E/I-ratio. We also confirmed the difference on the trend-cycle factors according to the score of the questionnaire for cold and heat pattern identification. Results : There were differences on the trend-cycle factors from NN interval data, but no significant difference on heart rate variability, among the respective E/I-ratio. We also found significant relationship between the trend-cycle factors and the heat pattern identification scores. Conclusions : The results indicate that cardiac autonomic function can be modulated by the E/I-ratio and the modulation will be slower and more tendencious than respiratory sinus arrhythmia.

Analysis on the Elasto-Plastic Peel Test in a Cu/Cr/Polyimide System

Cu/Cr/polyimide 계에서 금속박막 두께와 폴리이미드 표면의 플라즈마 전처리 조건에 따른 필 테스트 결과로부터 Park와 Yu의 X-선 측정에 의한 방법과 Moidu등의 이론적 방법을 통애 Cr/polyimide 계면균열의 계면파괴에너지를 구했다. 두 방법으로 구한 박막의 소성일과 계면파괴어네지는 대부분의 경우에 대해 서로 잘 일치하였으며, 이와 같은 실험적 방법과 이론적 방법 모두 계면파괴에너지의 측정에 유용함을 알 수 있었다. 계면파괴에너지는 박막 두께에 거의 무관하였으며, 0.03, 0.036 그리고 0.05 W/$\textrm{cm}^2$의 rf플라즈마 밀도에 대해 각각 $46.8\pm$17.8, $170.3\pm$42.9 그리고 $253.9\pm$44.4 J/$\m^2$의 계면파괴에너지를 얻었다.

고조파 감소에 따른 지첨용적맥파 파형의 변화

Objectives: The aim of the present investigation was to determine whether the finger photople-thysmographic waveform of a healthy young man will become analogous to those of healthy old men when the photoplethysmographic harmonic components in the young man decrease. Methods and Results: The finger photoplethysgmoraphy was measured in 21 old men over the age of 60 years and a young men. We acquired the representative pulse waveform of old man by averaging the finger photoplethysmographic waveforms measured in the old men. after the photoplethysmographic harmonic components in the young man were diminished with notch filtering, we compared the representative pulse waveform of old man and the pulse waveforms of which the harmonic components decreased in the young man. The finger photoplethysmographic waveform of the young man became analogous to those of the old men as the photoplethysmographic harmonic components in the young man were diminished with notch filtering. Conclusions: Decrease of the second harmonic component may be a precondition of typical age-related change of the pulse waveform.
