Waterproof agents used in ready mixed concrete for improving the watertightness of concrete structures are divided into powder type and liquid type, and they have been developed in Korea or imported from overseas. Waterproof agents reduce crack, shrinkage and swelling, and densify the tissue and enhance the strength through reducing pore space, but because their advertised performance is all the same despite differences in major ingredients, mixture ratio in concrete and the time of mixture, there are some doubts about the quality of concrete. Thus, in order to determine the generation of hydrate depending on the mixture of waterproof agent, the present study investigated chemical properties (ingredient analysis, tissue density, etc.) and examined the effects of the properties on the strength of mortar specimens.

Recently, as the alternatives to preserve environment such as effective usage of wastes or unusable resources are drawing attentions, researches and measures for the two tasks, which are reuse of waste wood and development of eco-friendly materials, are being examined and established in various fields. However, they are still insufficient. Therefore, in this study, for the efficient application of waste woods and eco-friendly effects, mortar was produced using sawdust as the waste wood and mineral material cement for combination, in order to produce inorganic boards using waste woods, which were made when sawing. The present study purposed to analyze the physical and dynamic characteristics of woody cement boards, which were made by modifying water-cement ratio for each wood inclusion rate based on a hardening-accelerator inclusion rate set in previous studies and, based on the findings, to provide basic data about the physical properties of inorganic boards made of waste wood, in order to produce woody cement boards using waste wood, which has problems in being used in the manufacturing of woody cement boards.

Recently, as architectural concrete structures become high-rise and megastructured, concrete become high-strengthened and, by ensuring products of more stability, and rationalization of construction are required.large cross-sectional precast concrete members such as columns show large temperature increase in manufacturing process not only by external heating but also by concrete itself``s hydration heating. Therefore, it is expected that specimen for management to predict strength and compression strength of precast concrete member shows different strength characteristics. Concerning this, in order to suggest strength characteristics of high strength mass concrete suitable for precast concrete application, this study comprises the inclusive investigations on the relations between core strength and the strength characteristics per member cross-section dimensional value and per water-bonding material ratio value.
