        부모가 지각하는 태권수련환경과 수련태도 및 지속행동의 관계

        The purpose of this research is to clarify how the Taekwon training environment and attitude that parents perceive have any influence on persistent action. This research has selected parents who are final decision makers of trainees of Taekwondo studio as a population to accomplish this purpose, and a total of 429 copies of questionnaire was used for data collection as final effective samples by using quota sampling among non-probability sampling. The survey tool was used by writing a structured questionnaire based on the self-assesment method. In order to analyze collected data, the frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used as a statistical analysis technique used in this research. This research has deduced the following conclusions through the research method and procedure like this. First, the Taekwon training environment that parents perceive has an influence on training attitude. Second, the Taekwon training environment that parents perceive has an influence on persistent action. Third, the Taekwon training attitude that parents perceive has an influence on persistent action. If aggregating the above results, it is being suggested that the Taekwondo training environment and right training’s cultivation that parents perceive who are final decision makers of trainees could be an important mechanism in development of a Taekwondo studio through maintenance of persistent action.

        경피적 내시경하 위루술의 영양학적 영향: 후향적 단일 센터 연구

        Background/Aims: Several conditions may cause difficulties with oral feeding. Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) is commonly performed on patients who require enteral feeding for >2-3 weeks. This study examined the nutritional state of patients who required enteral feeding and underwent PEG to quantify the benefits of the procedure. Methods: This retrospective study included patients who underwent PEG at the Chungnam National University Hospital between January 2013 and December 2018. A gastroenterologist performed all PEG procedures using the pull technique, and all patients were followed up for >3 weeks postoperatively. The BMI and lymphocyte count, along with the levels of hemoglobin, total protein, albumin, total cholesterol, BUN, and creatinine pre-PEG and between 3 weeks and 6 months post-PEG were evaluated. Results: Overall, 151 patients (116 males; mean age 64.92 years) were evaluated. Of these patients, 112 (74.2%), 34 (22.5%), and five (3.3%) underwent PEG tube insertion because of neurological diseases, malignancy, and other conditions, respectively. The BMI and the hemoglobin, total protein, albumin, and total cholesterol levels were significantly higher post-PEG than pre-PEG. Conclusions: These findings highlight the usefulness of PEG in the management of nutritionally poor patients with difficulties in feeding orally. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2022;79:12-21)

        Calibration and Sensitivity Analysis of the RICEWQ Model

        The main objectives of this study are to calibrate the RICEWQ model with Korean field data and then analyse the sensitivity of the parameters to identify sensitive parameters. The RICEWQ is widely used to predict pesticide fate in a paddy plot. An experimental paddy plot of 0.2 ha($100{\times}20\;m$) at Seobyeon-dong, Daegu, Korea was selected, and field observations for water and pesticide balance were performed from 4 June to 2 September 2006. The molinate, which is a herbicide widely used for weed control in rice culture, was selected. The RICEWQ model was successfully calibrated both for the water and pesticide mass balance. The calibrated model showed a RMSE of 0.537 cm for ponded water depths and a RMSE of 0.036 mg/L for the molinate concentrations in the ponded water. The most sensitive parameters for molinate concentrations in ponded water were the metabolism degradation rate in water, volatilization coefficient, and release rate for slow release formulation. In contrast, the RICEWQ model was not sensitive to parameters such as hydrolysis degradation rate in water and degradation rate in unsaturated soil.

        In order to assess the environmental risk of pesticides, information is usually required on the likelihood of exposure of organisms to the constituents of pesticides, expressed as a predicted environmental concentrations and the likely effects of the constituents of pesticides on aquatic and terrestrial organisms, expressed as a predicted no-effect concentrations. The objectives of this study were; (1) to verify the pesticide fate model used in paddy fields; (2) to critically evaluate the applicability for the calibrated model; (3) to propose the best management practices (BMPs) for water and pesticide management methods. The RICEWQ model was successfully calibrated against field data in poinding depth for paddy field. The results of this study can be used as a basic information for assessing the environmental risk of pesticides.

        Scenario-Based Exposure Risk Assessment of Molinate in a Paddy Plot : (1) Analysis of simulation results

        The effects of water and pesticide management practices on ponded water pesticide concentrations in a paddy plot were analysed using the RICEWQ model. The molinate which is a herbicide widely used in rice culture, and frequently detected in paddy environment was selected. In a previous study, the RICEWQ model was successfully calibrated with field data obtained from a paddy plot in Daegu. The calibrated model was run using water and pesticide management scenarios with a set of measured meteorological data for 1997-2006 in Daegu. For all three ponded water depths with the label rate application, the amount of molinate dissipated in ponded water and volatilized accounted for more than 70%, and the runoff losses were less than 9%. The molinate losses through drainage in the very shallow ponded depth showed 40% less than that in deep ponded depth. Comparing with the deep and shallow ponded depth, the very shallow depth was the best with regards to the reduction of molinate runoff losses. Simulations with different pesticide application rates, label rate and double label rate, showed molinate concentrations in the ponded water increased linearly with the application rate increase.

        Exposure risk assessment of pesticide molinate in rice paddy areas was performed to see the effects of various water and pesticide management scenarios and then best management practices were proposed to prevent adverse effects on populations. The results of the RICEWQ model simulation from the previous studies were analyzed. The pesticide risk for aquatic organisms is evaluated by the ratio of the predicted environmental concentration (PEC) and the predicted no-effect concentration (PNEC). To assess the exposure risk to the aquatic organisms, predicted molinate concentrations were grouped into four risk classes. The no risk concentration range is lower than 0.002 mg/L, the low is from 0.002 mg/L to 0.01 mg/L, the moderate is from 0.01 mg/L to 0.1 mg/L, and the high is above 0.1 mg/L. The critical values for each category were calculated from the toxicity endpoint value (median lethal concentration, LC50) divided by the assessment factor (AF). The results showed that the very shallow ponding depth in rice paddies showed lower pesticide exposure risk than the deep ponding depth, and the higher application rate showed greater exposure risk to the aquatic organisms. The results of this study can be used for the non-point source pollution control and environmental policy making regarding pesticides.

        Scenario-Based Exposure Risk Assessment of Molinate in a Paddy Plot ; (2) Exposure Risk Assessment

        Exposure risk assessment of pesticide molinate using the RICEWQ model in a rice paddy plot was performed to observe the effects of various water and pesticide management scenarios. Several scenarios were developed to represent the specific water and pesticide management practices of rice cultivation in Korea. The results of the scenario analysis using the RICEWQ model simulation from the previous studies were analysed. The molinate risk for aquatic organisms is evaluated by the ratio of the predicted environmental concentration(PEC) and the predicted no-effect concentration(PNEC). The results showed that the no-effect periods for aquatic organisms for the deep, shallow and very shallow irrigation conditions were 33.3, 28.9 and 25.6 DATs for the lable rate application and 36.4, 33.7 and 30.8 DATs for the double lable rate application, respectively. The higher application rate showed greater exposure risk to the aquatic organisms. Based on this study, the withholding period of molinate practiced in Korea, that is 3 to 4 DATs, must be much longer. The results of this study can be used for the non-point source pollution control and environmental policy making regarding pesticides.

        논 담수심 처리에 따른 관개용수량의 분석

        The purpose of this study was to investigate tile effects of pending depth treatment on water balance in paddy fields. Field experiment was performed in an experimental farm in Taegu, southern part of Korea during the rice growing season In 2001, 2002 and 2003. Experimental plots were three 8m ${\times}$ 80m rectangular plots. Three pending depth treatments, very shallow, shallow, and deep were used. Daily values of water balance components were measured in the field. The irrigation amounts measured at the experimental plots showed that the very shallow and the shallow ponded plots required smaller amount than the deep ponded plot. The shallow ponded plot saved irrigation water about 17.7% compared with the traditional deep ponded plot in 2001 The very shallow ponded plot saved irrigation water about 25.7% compared with the traditional deep ponded Plot in 2002, The shallow ponded plot saved irrigation water about 18% compared with the deep ponded plot in 2003.
