        Seoul National University About 34% of the adult population paticipated in sport and physical activities at least one or two times per average week. Many more than women took part in sports and physical activities. They badly want sports complex center and exercise programs. They thought that sports complex center is the basic constructions of university as library or the statistic center. They exercised for health or fitness development in sports complex center of around the house. they enjoyed playing sports activities such as tennis, swimming for loe or two hours per average week. The men and women responded paticipating in moderately active level of physical activity. The younger age group prefer tennis, swimming, bowling, calisthenic exercise, while the older age group is more likely to mount climbling, working, golf. The social economic status of populer player estimated high relative to the common peoples. Professional sports have pogitive view point in paticipation in sports for all the people or leisure satisfaction. They thought that theexercise was the best weight control methods and Obesity was caused by the lack of exercise.

      • 최대하 운동시 온도·습도 변화에 따른 피부온도와 발한량의 변화

        The study was to investigate the difference of the total sweat rate, local sweat and skin temperature according to environments during submaximal exercise. For this, eight male field hockey athletes were made to take bicycle exercise of 40% Vo₂max for 60min. The environmental conditions were divided into four groups ; Environment Ⅰ (Temperature 18℃, Relative Humidity 40%). Environment Ⅱ (Temperature 18℃, Relative Humidity 70%). Environment Ⅲ (Temperature 30℃, Relative humidity 40%). Environment Ⅳ (Temperature 30℃, Relative Humidity 70%). Local sweat rate, rectal temperature and main skin temperature were recorded every 10 minutes by thermister, total sweat rate measured by the weight loss during the exercise. Local sweat rate according to environments during submaximal exercise increased mainly by relative humidity. The other local skin temperature and the rising-rate of body temperature had an effect on it. Total sweat rate according to environments during submaximal exercise was more influenced by hot-high humidity rather than by temperature especially led to the 1,400g's weight loss during the one hour exercise. Local skin temperature according to environments during submaximal exercise was significantly differentiated by temperature and humidity as well as by time. Mean skin temperature according to environments during submaximal exercise was varied, up-and-down repeatedly. No relationships between rectal temperature or local skin temperature and total sweat rate or local sweat rate but these factors were partly interrelated. To conclude, total sweat rate was influenced most by humidity and local sweat rate differed according to local skin temperature and the rising-rate of body temperature.

      • 남자 초·중학생의 무산소성 작업능력과 무산소성 파워의 관계

        The critical power(CP) is the highest intensity to sustain for a long time without a fatigue. The anaerobic work capacity(AWC) is the highest anaerobic capacity to be provided by anaerobic energy system without the infection of hypoxia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between AWC and AnP and to verify the validity of AWC. The subjects were consisted of 10 elementary and 10 middle school male students(12.8±1.3yrs, 159.3±12.1㎝, 49.4±11.8㎏). The critical power and anaerobic work capacity were calculated by work-time relationship after four cycle ergometry test to fatigue from 1 to 10 minute. The anaerobic power included Margaria-Kalmen test, Sargent jump and Wingate test. The main finding were as follows. The AWC of elementary and middle school students. were 6.47±2.63KJ and 11.10±3.01KJ. The AWC of elementary students was 58.3% of the middle school students's one. The AnP of elementary students were 47.2∼66.5% of the middle school students's one. And there were high correlation between AWC and AnP(0.64∼0.87, P<0.01). This study showed that AWC is useful index on AnP both elementary and middle school students.

      • 태권도 품새 수련이 아동의 심박수, 심근산소소비량, 에너지 대사에 미치는 영향

        The Taegeuk Poomse 1 through 8 of Taekwondo are based upon eight major branches of philosophical theories. The propose of this study was to investigate the nfluence of Taekwondo poomse trainning on heart rate, MVO2, energy metabolism in primary school students. Subjects for this study were eight male the fifth∼sixth grades students who participated in exercise program consist of Taekwondo poomse trainning in dojang which is located in Shinlim-2dong, Kwanak-Gu, Seoul(12.7± 0.5years, 150.8 ±4.6cm, 45.1 ± 9.4kg, 24.9 ± 9trainning length). The results of thet this study are as follows: 1) The average of heart rate was Taegeuk Poomse 1 through 8 of Taekwondo 90.57± 4.gbeats/min in rest and 139.7 ± 17.5beats/min in exercise. The minimum heart rate was 89.0±2.8, peak heart rate was 167.1 ±6.4 in exercise. It was ranged from 42% to 80% 2) of the max heart rate and ranged 42 to 65%HRmax. Taegeuk 1 Jang was differenced with others Jangs significantly(p<0.05), 2) The time of the Taegeuk 1 through 8 Jang of Taekwondo was 5minutes 12seconds. Heart rate was ranged from 90.6 ± 7.85beats/min to 171.8 ±8.Ibeats/min and increased linearly. 3) The average of the MVO2 was 11.1 ±0.78mmHg · bpm-3 in rest and 19.1 ± 1.2mmHg ㆍbpm-3 in exercise. MVO2 was ranged from 10.5mmHg · bpm-3 to 20.3mmHg · bpm-3. There were not difference between Taegeuk Poomses(p<0.05). 4) The energy metabolism was as follows: Mean VO2 Respiratory exchange ratio, energy consumption were 0.51(V02L/min),0.71(RQ),2.32Ckca1/min) in rest respectively. but In exercise Mean VO2 Respiratory exchange ratio, energy consumption were 0.89 ± 0.18( V 02L/min), 0.79±0.08(RQ), 4.26±0.51(kcal/min) respectively . The difference was only between Taegeuk 1 Jang and Taegeuk 3 Jang(p<0.05). This study showed that the Taekwondo Poomse trainning was proper exercise for fitness, body composition and weight control in normal, abnormal(obese) children because the Taekwondo trainning are dynamic and exciting sport.
