In this study, diethoxyethylene glycol adipate was synthesized to find out the effect as co-surfactant. Its structure was confirmed with FT-IR and 1H-NMR. It is chemically anaylzed it with acid value,saponifaication value, ester value, hydroxyl value and the value of HLB(Hydrophile-Lipophile Balance). To investigate emulsifying power, nonionic, cationic, anionic and amphoteric surfactants were mixed. In case of nonionic surfactants, emulsification effect is reduced showing 66 % when it was mixed with the compound and 74 % when it was used only. For cationic surfactant, emulsion was not formed when it was mixed with the compound. However, anionic surfactants and amphoteric surfactant were able to identify good emulsification effect.

N/A The isoflavone as a derivatives of flavone is colorless crystalline compounds. It acts on synthesis of fibronectine, collagen Ⅲ, collagen Ⅰ in human normal fibroblast by same biological activity to animal hormone. In this study, we tried to search and demonstrate system content rate of dermal translocation system for cosmetics using microemulsion containing isoflavone. The results of microemulsion stability test by centrifugation, storage in incubator and circulation chamber showed that separation of phase did not appear after 30 days. By the skin flexibility test, it has confirmed efficiency and effect as cosmetics materials. As the result, the microemulsion showed that skin flexibility factor improved up to 7.6%. We could confirm that O/W type microemulsion was stable system.

N/A Microemulsion is stable to aggregation, sedimentation, fusion and has 3nm∼20nm of particle size which is transparent and semitransparent. The isoflavone as a derivatives of Flavone is colorless crystalline compounds. It has similar basic structure to steroid materials which is hormone that acts to skin physiological phenomenon. On this study, we tried to search and demonstrate system content rate of dermal translocation system for cosmetics using O/W type microemulsion containing isoflavone. We manufactured O/W microemulsions by phase inversion emulsification method. It`s was found that POE(20) monostearate with HLB value 14 caused microemulsion to be formed, which had 4nm∼18nm of average diameter and 3nm∼33nm of particle size distribution. Apparent viscosities of the microemulsions have increased in proportion to add surfactant dose.

유화제만을 사용하는 것 보다 더 좋은 유화특성을 갖는 유화보조제에 관한 연구이다. 그 화합물들은 숙신산과 프로필렌글리콜과의 에스테르화 반응에 의하여 합성되었다. 그 구조는 FT-IR과 1H-NMR 분석으로 확인하였다. 표면장력, 임계미셀농도(cmc), 유화력 등 계면특성을 각각 주어진 조건하에서 시험하였다. 그 수용액의 표면장력은 33∼35 dyne/cm 이었고, cmc는 표면장력법에 의하여 산정하였다. 그리고, 유화력은 호호바오일의 경우 우수하였다. 결과적으로 합성한 디프로필렌글리콜 숙시네이트는 O/W 유화에서의 유화보조제로서 응용이 기대된다. This study is concerned with coemulsifier which is better emulsifiable properties than emulsifier itselves` use only. It`s compound was synthesized by esterification of propylene glycol and succinic acid. The structure of them was comfirmed with FT-IR and 1H-NMR. Surface active properties with surface tension, cmc, emulsing power were tested respectively at given conditions. Their surface tensions in the aqueous solution was decreased to 33∼35 dyne/cm and their cmc was evaluated by surface tension method. And it`s emulsifying power was excellent in jojoba oil. As results, the synthesized dipropylene glycol succinate is expected to apply as O/W coemulsifier.

N/A Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesives of n-butyl acrylate, 2-ethyl acrylate, methyl acrylate, vinyl acetate, acrylic acid, acrylonitrile and 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate were synthesized and basic physical properties of pressure sensitive adhesives with increasing the contents of 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate were investigated. 2-Hydroxyethyl acrylates effects on glass transition temperature, viscosity, hardening time and peel strength. Glass transition temperature(Tg) decreased with increasing the contents of 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate. Viscosity and hardening time were increased with increasing the contents of 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate. On the other hands, peel strength increased with increasing the contents of 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate up to 6 wt% and the decreased at further higher contents of 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate. In peel test, interfacial failure was occured in 8 wt% and 10wt%.
