철도차량용 LED전조등의 수명시험 장비구축을 위한 기초설계

본 논문에서는 철도차량용 100만 칸델라급 LED전조등의 수명시험 장비구축을 위한 기초 설계안을 제안한다. 시험요구조건은 LED광원에 대한 LED제조업체들의 방대한 수명시험 데이터를 근거로 북미조명학회에서 발간한 LM-80-08을 따른다. 시료 수량은 TM-21-11 기준으로 장기 수명 예측에 활용하기 위해 최소 10개 이상을 사용한다. 또한 구축된 시험장비는 최소 6,000시간 동안 광속유지율을 측정할 수 있고 동시에 측정장비의 정션 온도와 공급 전류를 측정 기간 동안 유지해야 한다. 제안한 설계안은 제품 양산 이전에 측정데이터 수집과 수명예측을 위한 기본 시험장비 개발에 기여하며, 향후 철도차량의 사용환경을 반영한 심층연구가 수행되어야 한다. This paper proposes the fundamental design of lifetime test system for light emitting diode (LED) headlight with the luminous intensity of 1 million candela (CD) on a rail vehicle. The test procedure and requirements are referred to by LM-80-08 based on numerous experimental data of LED source from LED luminaire manufacturers, published by Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA). It aimed to introduce experimental procedure for lamp lumen maintenance factor (LLMF) of LED sources. At least 10 specimens are used for utilizing long lifetime prediction recommended by TM-21-11. And the experimental test system according to proposed design could continuously measure the LLMT for at least 6000 hours, while the current and junction temperature of device should be maintained at specific value or kept lower. The proposed design could be contributed to develop basic test system for obtaining measurement data and predicting lifetime before its product launch. And deep study on test system considering practical conditions of a rolling stock should be carried out in the future.
OpenCL을 활용한 CPU와 GPU 에서의 CMMB LDPC 복호기 병렬화

Recently, Open Computing Language (OpenCL) has been proposed to provide a framework that supports heterogeneous computing platforms. By using an OpenCL framework, digital communication systems can support various protocols in a unified computing environment to achieve both high portability and high performance. This article introduces a parallel software decoder of Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) codes for China Multimedia Mobile Broadcasting (CMMB) on a heterogeneous platform. Each step of LDPC decoding has different parallelization characteristics. In this paper, steps suitable for task-level parallelization are executed on the CPU, and steps suitable for data-level parallelization are processed by the GPU. To improve the performance of the proposed OpenCL kernels for LDPC decoding operations, explicit thread scheduling, loop-unrolling, and effective data transfer techniques are applied. The proposed LDPC decoder achieves high performance by using heterogeneous multi-core processors on a unified computing framework.
